"You've got to be kidding me!" A torrent of curses followed the first exclamation as Alden tried to make some sense of the fact that he was on a cold stone floor, staring up at a dark stone ceiling. Turning his head slightly he blinked his brown eyes, and then turned his head to look in the other direction where he found himself facing a wall. A cold stonewall. "Bloody hell!" This couldn't be happening tp him! Where was his fluffy bed, his pretty little maids and his bloody bathroom. How was he supposed to have a shower? Alden closed his eyes and wished it all away but when he opened them everything was the same.
Back aching after having slept on the cold and very uncomfortable floor, the lord took a deep breath and stood awkwardly. A muffled scream issued up from somewhere deeper in this strange place and Alden let out a startled cry that turned into a nervous laugh. "Ok, Aldy baby, let's calm down here. Everything's fine." Putting on a cocky smile, the young lord started walking, following the wall. Oh, he wasn't worried or anything. After all, he was a noble, and nobody hurt nobles... right? While he had the mind to, he straightend out his clothes, the ones he'd fallen asleep in last night. Black with gold lacing, the latest fashion.
The young man, about in his twenties kept walking, his a spare hand to try fix his unruly dark brown curls that fell to his shoulders. Fairly tall and with a plae complexion, he looked completely out of place here.

She glanced around for a moment as she called out once more, from the sound of it, she was alone to herself. She actually perfered it that way. The people who placed her here didn't bother with her veil, actaully they changed it to match with her gown. Her dark, redish veil matched the black and dark red satin gown.
Her hand followed the wall as she walked down the dark, mysterious halls. They were extremly quiet and she shadowed her breathing, ready for anything to happen. Aireth was known to stay calm and relaxed under the most extreme conditions.

Estelle was getting a bit frightened now. She found a wall and sat against it, so nothing could come at her from behind. "Hello?" She called out, the sound echoing around her. She hoped someone would hear, because she didn't want to be alone in this place. She kept looking around, desperate to find someone while staying in one spot. "Hello!?" She said a bit louder this time. "Please...if you can hear me...say something!" Her voice trembled as it resinated off of the blank walls back at her.

She heard a faint cry and stopped. She returned the call with her own. "Hello!? Who's there!" she yelled back and let out a sigh. The voice was really close to her, she wondered whom this could be. Aireth had thought she was by her self, obviously not. She walked down the halls, calling out once more as she waited for a reply.

Estelle heard the call again and felt her heart lift out of her stomach. "I'm Estelle...do...do you know where we are?" She staggered away from the wall, and to where the voice had come from. She just wanted to stand next to someone so she wasn't completely alone. She was terrified, and was trying her best to keep herself composed.

The voice was near now, right infront of her, judging about 100 feet away. "I am Aireth, and I have no clue." she replyed to the voice. She didn't like giving out her name, but it sounded like a female and that girl sounded terrified. "Where are you?" she asked calmly and took another step foreward towards the voice.

Bri was feeling rather pleased with herself as she traveled the dark tunnels, scratching her stick along the walls. She listened to the others talk, attempting to learn everything about them before they even knew she existed.
Then she fell into a hole.
After several frantic minutes of scrabbling, Bri determined that the sides were to smooth to escape. The edges were too far apart to climb out, and there was no rope, no stairs, no light. Bri felt herself beginning to panic again.
Realizing she had no choice, Bri called out. "Excuse me?" she cried, "Does anyone have a rope?"

Adara paused, and heard a voice very close to her call out. She continued closer to it, and felt around the floor. It seemed to echo. Had she not been feeling the ground, she would have never seen the very deep... Indention? No.. Hole! She looked down, and then saw a face look up at her. Then a calling for rope. She felt her belt, and pulled out her rope.
She called down, "Here you go," and then let it down. She waited for the girl to grab on, and then started pulling her up, handing some to Darrin to help.

Darrin was about to refuse on grounds of such work being beneath him, then remembered the knife. He took the length of rope offered and started to help pull. "Bah, manual labour. If I only had my butcher, now he's a strong one..." he muttered under his breath. In a much louder and nicer voice, he said "I do hope you are well!"

"I'd say I'm right in front of you, from the sounds of things...I wish I had a lantern or something..." Estelle said, inching forward carefully. She was shaking a bit, still terrified at this whole predicament. She stepped carefully closer to the voice that was calling back to her. At this point, she didn't care who the person was. She could have been a mass murder, and Estelle still would have been overjoyed to see her. The voice sounded friendly, though, and Estelle thanked the Gods for that.

Bri scrambled up the rope and onto the hard stone floor, glad that it was too dark for anyone to see her. "Yeah, I'm good," she muttered, again glad that the darkness hid her, for her face was blushing violently.

[No, Adara doesn't own a Lantern at this time >_> She might stumbleon a torch soon, though]
Adara helped her up, and rolled the rope up and put it back on her belt. She looked at the girl in the dark, making out her features in the very dim wall candle light. She contiuned past the girl, walking slowly, her footing being sure of itself before she continued farther. She kept an ear out, listening out for other voices, and any danger coming.
[Excuse me, but what exactly are we supposed to find here, buggritall?]

((*thinks about that* Good question. Time to push things forward a bit.))
Darrin himself paused to look over the girl, as best he could in this light. Not much was visible. "So..." he said slowly. "What might your name-" He was interrupted by a sudden roaring sound that echoed throughout the castle, and then the hole snapped shut as if it was never there. Almost. There were barely visible joins where the stones didn't quite connect. Darrin was left speechless, his face pale.

Adara kept going, and then she heard a montrous roar. She looked back, and saw the black opening seal into a gloomy dark grey. She gasped in the dark, and then the ground began to shake beneath her. She felt around the castle walls, and then found a table in the hall, around the next corner, with a candle on it, and a torch in a mount over it. She grabbed it, and then held it next to the walls to find an opening.
Frantically she continued, until she saw a small passage way that could hold one person through at a time. She beckoned the others to follow her. If they didn't find a way to hide, then they would probably find the source... Which was almost as fearsome as the source finding them.
