 KageKage snuggled up close to Jack so he wouldn't fall off the edge of the bed.
"Was pretty much everything you said just drunken rantings, or what?" He asked.
He was hoping for an answer to that last thing the Lopunny had said that day.

"Well...Depends on what I said 'that day'. Jack started to play dumb as the topic was brought up. He did recall a decent amount of that night's conversation; but he was completely unsure if he actually meant it all or not...Hence the days after days of contemplation that followed since then.

KageThe Gallade then thought that maybe he could try to corner the Lopunny.
"Really? Because you said some interesting stuff, especially toward the end of our little chat~" He said.
If Jack blaimed that on drunken rants, he knew he was lying.
If the Lopunny claimed to be telling the truth... then he probably was.
Either way, by Kage's logic, Jack was totally serious that day.

"Well it would help if I knew what I said first..." Jack was really trying to coax those certain words out into the open. He had a good idea what he had said; just there was still that slim chance there that he was about to get made fun of over it or even maybe didn't even say it at all. He was out of it at the time; so Kage's reassurance would help this terrible process along a lot better than it was going.

"I believe it was along the lines of..."
The Gallade said this next part very softly.

~Jack "Well...Uhm...I...nyah... Jack grew silent, his face was completely burned up, and just as Kage moved onto his side he attempted to back away...Ending up falling straight off the bed and hitting his back hard on the floor."Oww..." He groaned from his new place, figuring it best he stayed there for the rest of this conversation. "Well at the time...I guess I kinda meant it... Like in a brotherly way or..uhm...yeah..." He tried his best to smooth talk his way out of the situation; obviously not being the greatest at that skill.

KageSon of a b***h, the Gallade wasn't expecting that.
It kind of dampened his spirits a little.
More so than the unnecessary stitches in his leg.
"You alright...?" He asked, a little coldly.
He reached his arm down from the bed to help the Lopunny up.

"Yeah..." Jack answered the Gallade's question, getting back up to his feet without Kage's help. Though he was very wary about re-entering the bed with him, simply standing at his side for the moment. Face now a very prominent red against his normally white fur."I'm sorry..." "Acting like what?" He asked.
"What do you have to apologize for? I should be the one apologizing. Asking you all these questions and making you feel uncomfortable..." He said, turning away.

"Please don't be like that...I'm sorry..." Jack apologized (to the apologies about his previous apology?) cautiously getting back onto the hospital bed next to the now not facing him Kage and placing an arm around the Gallade's."I do love you..." He stated in a near whisper."Just don't make me explain it..." He added, and in all honesty that was the best explaination he could give for the whole entire situation. It was was if everything was solved without a real solution for him.

KageKage sighed and closed his eyes when he fell the touch of Jack's arm.
"I wont make you explain it... but only if I don't need to explain this," He said softly.
He turned his head and leaned forward, kissing the Lopunny softly.

"Thanks..." Jack muttered after he was kissed. Keeping the Gallade close as he to closed his eyes. It must have been pretty late in the night by that point and he was hella' tired."Love you~..." He repeated those once thought to be vile words as he dozed off.

KageA month ago, if you were to tell Kage that he was going to kiss Jack one day, he would have laughed in your face and walked off, planning your doom.
Even know, he was surprised that he had fallen for the Lopunny.
With a smile, he lay down and snuggled up close to Jack's fluffy ears, eventually falling asleep.

"How ya' feeling today...?" Jack asked nervously as he walked into Kage's hospital like he did each morning since he started staying there. Sleeping in the lobby and spending as much of the day as he could with his 'love'. Things were just perfect at this point outside of the whole leg fail and all...

Kage"Physical therapy sucks," Kage groaned as he looked to Jack.
He was sitting on the edge of the bed, bending his knee up and down.
"You'd think they'd give me drugs or something, but damn, they just wanna ******** with me."
He then gave the Lopunny a smile.
"How are you?~"
