The young male paused, one ear flicking towards the pair, the other still focussed on the bird. Home? The den...but was he supposed to go too? Muroki made a swift goodbye and growled a 'blessing' for the buzzard, even though it was rather rude.
He padded after the other felines.

Laini headed back to the den or actually to the water hole which was just next to it. Her walk was rather slow as she had to wait Hisani to catch up under her belly. At times, she glanced over her back, to see was Muroki following them or did he already wanted to move along on his journey.
When they were there, the grey lioness took the guard and she was sure that no threat was hiding in water, she nudged Hisani towards it. after her daughter had settled to drink contently, she glanced to Muroki and nodded towards the water. She could guard them both.

The ex-Dawnwalker bowd his head slightly at the elder female respectfully, before moving forward to lap at the water. He hadn't been guarded since he'd lost Rahima. Satisfying his thirst, he sat down - he'd wait for orders.
Muroki would leave or stay as Hisani and Laini wished.

Laini didn't have any orders really. Muroki was free to leave or stay, whatever he wished. So, the grey lioness stayed silent.
Hisani was silent all this time. She didn't say a word, just focused to drank the water. When she was finished, she turned away and halfly ran under her mother's muzzle, who started to nudge her. Tails of both of them started to swing contently, it was clear how warm and pleasant this moment was.

Muroki stayed, golden eyes moving to the ground. He felt like an intruder. Maybe he wasn't needed...they did seem content, happy alone, in this moment. He had to wonder what it'd be like if Kwahiri was still alive. Three of four lionnesses now had been good 'aunts' - including the grey one before him - but no one could replace a mother.
"Ladies? I'll be in the area should you need some help, hunting or protection, young though I am"

Laini rose her head as she heard Muroki's offer. Oh how rude of her. Muroki must have felt neglected when she was mothering her daughter. "Leaving allread?" she asked fastly. She glanced at Hisani who now looked at Muroki, in kind of serious but warm way. "Stay," she said suddenly.

"I was planning to visit my mother's bones, soon..." He offered an honest smile to the pair. No charm or lies. He had been, truthfully, if he hadn't been needed. "I could go any time but...I would've thought you'd wish to be alone."

Hisani watched Muroki all the time, silently, as he spoke. She stayed there for some while after he had finished. "Muroki," the golden juvenile simply said and started to step further, slowly, carefully still but now with more secure. Her mother was here, after all.
She stopped near before him, to watch him, to sniff him, to examine him. Suddenly, she quickly raced to nuzzle his neck. "Muroki," she repeated, this time whispering, and with kind of sad tone, like she was going to cry soon.

"Hisani..." He lifted his head abit, so he could rest it gently, cautionsly, atop hers. A very simple sort of gesture. It was obvious Laini was her confidence boost and itys was still fresh in Muroki's mind he should be submissive - liek letting her pin him, if she wished.
"Golden Girl" Also floating across his subconcious was...Why did his heart ache?

((I have to say aww for this. 4laugh They're so cute!))
Laini watched them, with an understanding smile on her muzzle. Muroki was a good boy. She didn't need to worry about her daughter's safety when she was around him.
Hisani nudged Muroki's neck passionately but soon took ditance of him a little, so that she could see his face better. "What you just said?" she asked carefully. That was the first time when she heard herself to be called as 'golden girl'. That was strange but beautiful and flattering nick name for her. She wanted to be sure did she heard it right.

His dyed ears flicked back, shyly, even while a flirt's smile played on his face. Muroki the liar had briefly resurfaced in an attempt to hide his shyness. Amber eyes glanced at Laini - and hoping she wouldn't mind the blatent flattery of her daughter...
"I said 'golden girl', 'Sani. You've a beautifuly coloured pelt, you know. Not just yellow gold fur, but a warmer colour like the sun when it's just starting to rise or fall."
((Aye, they are whee ))

Laini had decided to give them some space so she had figured out something to do. Right now, she was grooming herself, though at times she glanced at them, to see that everything was going all right.
Muroki could clearly see how the deep blush formed on Hisani's cheeks and made them to look like sun rise would have touched them. She blinked, many times and opened her mouth but couldn't get a word to come out. Those words, so beautiful.

"...though it's not just because you're beautiful, you know. Else I would've called you something to compliment your eyes, since they're some fantastic blue I can't even reference."
Oh praise be! Laini was a star, giving them a moment. But he really didn't want his best friend to think he was...oh I dunno. In love with Hisani's looks or something. In love? No way. She was younger than him and he was too young and Muroki was just going to stop thinking -
"You're a nice lionness. You're sweet and kind and playful. You're golden on the inside too." - and talking right NOW. He was going to die of embaressment.

Hisani staid silent but her eyes told everything she felt. She was touched, or should I say stunned? She just stared him with more and more wet eyes. "Muroki..." she whispered. "That was so beautiful." This is all she could say. She wanted to say more but couldn't find words for that.
Laini secretly smiled as she glanced them. She was sure that this moment would do good for Hisani.
((I was wondering that should we put this open RP so that someone other could join in if he/she wanted? I mean, they are strangers in here. It's just matter of time when someone of Pridelanders spots them. At least Bakhti knows that Laini and Hisani are here.))

((That'd make sense ^^; I hadn't really noticed it wasn't an open RP. Sooner or later, someone - most likely Bakhti - will have to find them, else it just...wouldn't make sense, considering they're in the Pridelands.))
"It's just the truth..." His ears were still flat against his growing mane, and his 'charmers' expression fading. Muroki regretted saying it, even though she looked happier now. What was he thinking telling her that?
...he was not in love with his best friend. Nu huh. No way...
