Cross just couldn't catch a break as he was locked into the Camel Clutch with minimal stuggling. Now when you put one of someone's body parts through as much as his back had been through, in as short of a time that the match had been going on, there was only one reaction to expect. And that was the delicious screams of a Chris that is in a great deal of pain. Rez was no doubt enjoying himself.

Rez smiled at the sound of the screams. He pulled back as hard as he could. It was starting to seem as if he wouldn't be happy until Cross's spine snapped.

Cross suddenly stopped screaming and went limp, much to the dismay of the crowd.

Cross was lahying completely still on the mat as Rez did this. Would this really be it? Would their rematch really end in such an anti-climatic manner?

Rez climbed to the top of the ladder and looked down at Cross with a self-satisified smirk. He reaches up and attempts to grab the briefcase that hung above the ring.

Cross got his second wind as he watched Rez start reaching for that briefcase and sprung to his feet, running completely on adrenaline. He would attempt to get behind the big man and throw some shots at his lower back to soften him up enough for what came next. Ladies and gentlemen, the next feat of daring you're about to see will shock and amaze. He looked to get into basic powerbomb position, but in order to make sure he had the best chance of success, he threw his legs up, attempting to hook them around his opponent's mid-section and yanking forward, going for a modified powerbomb from the ladder.

Rez's eyes went wide as he felt himself start to move. He suddenly grabbed hold tighter of the case but they slipped off and he was suddenly dropped from the ladder with the powerbomb. He laid motionless as the pain actually overwhelmed him for once.

Cross too laid flat for several moments, the powerbomb taking alot out of him. He slowly started getting back to his feet and immediately went to climb the ladder, but instead of just going right for the top, he was going up backwards, facing Rez. Apparently, he wasn't going for the briefcase. He had something else in mind. He was going to give these fans something to talk about when they went home tonight, even if it killed him. He had never even tried the move he was planning on attempting before.

Rez looked up at Cross and tried to move. The pain in his spine and the wind that was just starting to flow back into him allowed him to move an inch off the ground before he fell back down and waited for whatever his opponent had planned.

Cross got to the height he wanted on the ladder and looked to stabilize himself for a moment, taking a deep breath before going for his very first shooting star press. He closed his eyes as he left the ladder, and couldn't see that it fell over from the momentum of his jump. It was too late to back out and he opened his eyes, the world seeming to be moving around him in slowmotion, camera lights flashing, the crowd roaring, as he came ever closer to Rez.

Rez saw Cross getting closer and closer. Out of instinct, he tried to raise his knees but the pain he felt prevented them from moving up far enough and he was hit by Cross's daring move.

Chris felt himself land on Rez and immediately bounced up and landed back first on the mat. He couldn't believe that he had actually hit his mark. His chest felt like it had landed on steel, and his heart felt like it might explode, but hearing the fans go absolutely wild made it all worth it. Slowly what had been pain in his chest was giving way to something more... Pride.

The sound of the fans drove Rez insane with anger. He started to slowly move, starting to get up even though his chest and back were in great amounts of pain. He winced as he pushed his way farther and farther up, fighting through every ounce of pain that coursed through his body.

Cross blinked in a time span that seemed like an eternity, as he looked over at Rez as he began to get back to his feet. He would be damned if he wouldn't get up as well. He could feel the blood rushing to his limbs as he willed the life back into them. He barely managed to get himself rolled over and up onto his knees and elbows and kept an eye on Rez, as he definitely couldn't afford a surprise attack at this point.
