Rocket Agent TRP Oh hey, a Squirtle! Its a water type and they're weak to grass types... right? Or was it the other way around? Erm. Yeah... his Bulbasaur would pwn! "Go Bulbasaur! Use Tackle!" The Bulbasaur charged and flung itself at the Squirtle. "Bulbaaaaaa!" "Tempest, Withdraw!" Roar snapped, and Tempest ducked into his shell in an attempt to absorb the impact of the attack. It sent him rolling along the ground, but the Squirtle managed to get its bearings straight once it was on its feet once more. "Now, Tackle!" Roar commanded. There was really no use in using his water move against a Bulbasaur. So long as the Bulbasaur was low-level enough to not yet know a grass move, this was basically going to boil down to which of the two had more stamina. Then, once the Bulbasaur fainted, Roar could grab it and run.

Having let the new recruits venture out first, the pale young woman with ebony locks held back, checking that her 'casual wear' was in order before proceeding. This was far from her first mission, though it would be a new experience in deception. Her first mission had dealt with simple wild Pokemon capture and return, and most of her private work had included training to make sure she was prepared for any mission that could be thrown at her.
In all honesty, Sierra had come a long way...as had Celeste. She reached down with a slight smile, palming the red and white orb before tossing it into the air to release the creature inside. With an enthusiastic trill, the Pidgeot emerged and spiraled upwards into the air, then landed in a swirl of dust to nuzzle the human with her head. Sierra smirked, giving the bird a brief scratch. "Atta' girl. Aerial duty today. Keep an eye out for potential targets and we'll play this one by ear, depending on what we find."
Celeste trilled softly to acknowledge she understood, then took to the air with a beating of powerful wings. Sierra brushed the ensuing dust away; had to keep her appearance intact. She waited until Celeste gained some altitude, then continued into the city, all the world looking like an innocent passing through. In truth, her eyes were sharp to detect potential targets, like those of her avian friend above.

Nikiana Nikiana turned towards the crazy man, looking him over for a moment. He definitely seemed to fit the definition of 'easy target'. Smiling, she strolled along towards the man. "Charizards are awesome," she agreed. Hey, why not agree with the crazy man on the street corner? If nothing else, this would prove to be amusing. And hopefully profitable as well. Surprised, but pleased, the 'zard cosplayer turned around and grinned widely. "Yeah, totally awesome!" He was just happy that someone was actually paying attention to him! Obviously most just ignored him as they passed by. "Would you like to donate to the 'Save the Charizards' fund? All proceeds go to a local Charizard rescue and perserve!"

The bulbasaur hit the Squirtle, but it seemed to do little damage with the well timed Withdraw. "Tackle it again!" The boy called, and the Bulbasaur obeyed... only to get tackled also, afterward. "Tackle again!"

Rocket Agent TRP The water attack struck the Charizard who snarled angrily, but blocked most of it from hitting his trainer. The girl only getting a little wet. The 'zard itself, although damaged, shook himself off and spat some of the water to the side before turning a heated glare on the Snorlax. It seemed that this fire Pokemon was quite powerful indeed. Oops. However, the girl was doubly surprised as the Pichu attacked! Seeing as she was closer to the 'chu, she was hit by the Thunderwave but her Pokemon was spared. Shrieking in alarm, her muscles were quickly paralyzed and she fell to the ground. What as going on?! This definitely smelled of foul play. "Charizard... Earthquake!" With a heavy stomp of his foot the earth around them rippled and shook violently in all directions. An attack that would hit all Pokemon in the immediate vicinity. "Help! Someone help!" It was too good to be true. The Charizard had been stronger than she had anticipated. This battle, it was out of her league. To continue on would be to put her own pokemon in jeopardy, and there was no way Suchi was going to risk that. Even if it did mean that Seth would be angry with her for coming back empty-handed. Oh, well. She had given it her best shot, and there was nothing wrong with that, was there?
Earthquake! The eyes of the Rocket grunt widened when the attack came at her pokemon. In a flash, before she could do anything else, Suchi whipped out the pokeballs of both her pokemon. Elior wasn't used to being in his pokeball. Normally, he traveled out with her, but this time he would have to make an exception. "Elior, Mr. Squishy, return now!"
Beams of light shot out of the pokeballs, aimed directly for her pokemon. Just as fast as they had appeared, they were gone again, and Suchi let out a sigh of relief. They were safe - safe from the powerful attack that had been headed their way. Thank God. That was all she cared about at this point. Stealing another pokemon, she could always do that later.
"You're lucky," Suchi called out, her eyes narrowing at the purple-haired girl on the ground. "While you may have gotten off now, you won't be so lucky later. I can promise you that." The grunt had said all she had needed to say at this point. There was nothing more to do, so, defeated, Suchi turn and ran back off in the direction from which she had came.
She had failed her mission, and for it Seth would surely punish her. But honestly? Suchi didn't even care at this point. Who cared about an Elite Agent when they just stared down a flamethrower-spitting Charizard in the face?

If not, there was no point in continuing to talk to him, except for s&g and that wasn't going to get her bonus points with the boss.

This was getting tedious fast, but Roar persisted, instructing Tempest to continue tackling the Bulbasaur. Tempest didn't always have time to Withdraw and absorb the impact of the other Pokémon's attacks, but Roar hoped those he did manage to get in would help him last longer than the rookies.

Rocket Agent TRP "Sure! I can do that!" the girl chirped happily. Of course she was an expert in all things water! She took swimming lessons this summer after all! And she has a Squirtle! "Come on Squirty. Maybe you can take the little Pichu into it?" "Squirtle!" The pair went over towards the Pichu and the girl put down her inner tube. "Hi there! You really shouldn't be afraid of water, swimming is a lot of fun! Isn't that right, Squirty?" The Squirtle nodded enthusiasticly. "Squirt squirt!" The girl then bent down and tried to pick up the Pichu.
While the girl was distracted attempting to pick up the squirming Pichu, Lotte turned her eyes on her real target that day: the Squirtle. Lotte snuck up behind the girl and two Pokemon and took out her secret weapon. She'd been saving it for something like this.
Faster than you could say, well, just about anything, Lotte whipped out something from her Trainer's belt and shouted, "Go, dark ball!" And before the Squirtle -- or the small child for that matter -- realized what had just happened, Raishiro wiggled out of the child's grasp and darted off into the brush with Lotte right behind him, clutching her prize: a Dark Squirtle.
Lotte ran as fast as she could from the beach and the little girl. Not because she didn't want to get caught, but because she didn't want to hear the small girl's whimpers, and eventually, tears. That would definitely have triggered memories Lotte would love to have forgotten all about.
Checking her Poketch, Lotte saw that she had about an hour left before she'd get left behind. She quickly put her hair up in a messy bun and redid her headband. She put her glasses back on and took her sweatshirt off. There. Now she wouldn't be recognized if someone found her. As Lotte sat down on the ground next to an old oak tree, she sighed and palmed her first stolen Pokemon's pokeball. "Well, Shiro, like they say, there's no rest for the weary. Let's head back to see what Seth has to say about this, kay?" Raishiro let out a tiny pi! and nodded his head. Back in his Pokeball he went, and Lotte set off back towards where she'd started out earlier that day.
[OOC Note: Let me know if you want me to change this. I wrote it based on the assumption that the dark ball would work, obviously. xD;;]

Suchi would find Seth waiting back at the spot they all started from.

If not, there was no point in continuing to talk to him, except for s&g and that wasn't going to get her bonus points with the boss. "Yeah, man. Like that's where all the Charizards hang out!" He then glanced around and siddled closer to the one person who was paying any attention. "Actually we're building a secret Charizard army there to take over the world! But you can't tell anyone... its secret. You want in?" That would allow Nikiana the opportunity to see that the guy did have a single Pokeball on him. It hung on a belt that was partially obscured by the costume. "SAVE THE CHARIZARDS!" he then suddenly shouted, waving a flier at another passerby.

But no... she would have to disagree with her attacker. She wasn't just lucky... she had well trained Pokemon! Suchi would find Seth waiting back at the spot they all started from. The girl grimaced as she walked back over to Seth, a look of frustration and annoyance on her face. Things had not gone as she had planned. Not at all. There she was in the beginning, expecting to be the one to come back victorious, only to be the first to return empty-handed. Ohhhh, karma was a b***h. Or perhaps the universe was out to get her? Whatever. Things were not playing in her favor today, that was for sure.
"Don't even bother starting to yell at me just yet," Suchi found herself grumbling as she took out one of her two pokeballs. Elior was released again and in the grunt's arms before she continued on. The poor Pichu. He was shaking from fright and exhaustion, and seemed to be on the verge of tears again. Real tears this time. "I tried to get you a pokemon," she said, pointing off into the direction where her battle was, "I tried my best and did exactly what you and the others taught me. Do you know what I was up against?! A Charizard! A freakin' Charizard, and a high level one at that. There was no way I could have stolen a pokemon from that girl, so before you blew your head off at me, I just wanted you to know that..." The expression on Suchi's face then changed after that going from frustration and annoyance to a look of tiredness and disappointed.
As upset as she was over the fact that she had gone up against an experienced trainer, one thought couldn't leave her mind: she had let not only Seth, but Team Rocket down.

The Bulbasaur continued do as it was told... although the Pokemon itself was getting weary of this constant bashing of his head against a hard turtle shell and getting attacked by it too. But the boy was persistent and kept calling out "Tackle!" After all... the only other move it knew didn't have any attack power... and what good was that?! Seriously! After another Tackle the Bulbasaur stumbled, dazed and obviously getting weak.

Grinning as the man leaned in closer, she scooted in as well, dropping her voice to a whisper. "A secret army of Charizards? Sounds cool..." Suddenly the crazed man she was holding this interesting conversation shouted, turning towards a passerby. Wincing, the girl realized this was her chance. With the cosplayer distracted by waving the flier, she reached out to try and snag the pokeball off his belt. And, well, if he caught her at it, she could play it off as trying to see the flier. Hopefully.

Rocket Agent TRP Sierra probably would have never imagined that her "target" would find her first. A girl came up behind her and tugged at Sierra's shirt. "'Scuse me, ma'am... would you like to buy some Eevee Scout cookies?" Blinking in barely veiled surprise, Sierra aimed her ice blue eyes over her shoulder...then down at the child. So much for not looking like an oblivious trainee. At least it was only a child, which helped her to regain some sense of composure.
"Eh? Err...oh, is it that time of year again? Time for fund-raising?" She smiled disarmingly, eyes cast over the little girl quickly. Was she a trainer of any type? Or just another Eevee Scout? Though, if she were out here on her own, she'd need some sort of protection, right? Or adult supervision? Perhaps she was over-thinking this completely, considering this wasn't exactly the most frightening part of town.
Overhead, Celeste had noted her human crossing paths with another. With a subtle shift of her wings' angle, she wheeled about, staying close and keeping an eye on Sierra while waiting to see how the situation would play out.
"I suppose it depends, she continued, trying not to look suspicious while having no inclination whatsoever of actually buying cookies. "What kinds are in stock this season?"
