=3 Well, I'm pretty much a humanitarian, so it would be completely against my beliefs to discriminate people based on their sexual orientation. It would be against my beliefs to discriminate anyone at all~

Nah, I don't think you are, Bapp. People draw stuff like that all the time regardless of their gender or sexual orientation. smile
And yes, yay gay rights!!! *waves rainbow flag* I'm straight, but a majority of my IRL friends are bi or gay, so I definitely support stuff like that. ^^

I'm kinda sorta really sure that Bapp was joking. Of course, I can't say that he was, but I think this is all much funnier if he is, and I need more happy in my life. {MEN ARE SCUM!!! Except Johnny Depp...yummy...}
My best friend ever is gay. I actually call him my gay soulmate. He is amazing, and I love him. We're going to have a sham marriage. ^_^
As for me, I could never be attracted to a girl. Too much drama. Of course, I'm not attracted to much of anyone around here because their all too self-centered and materialistic. And then when you ask who I am into...Johnny Depp. Orlando Bloom. Taylor Laurent. Ben Barnes. William Moseley.
I think I'm too in love with love to actually fall in love with anyone other than who I'm in it with now.

Bapp, you're still young. And besides, sometimes you just fall in love or like with whoever. Like I said, I love ladies but once upon a time I fell deeply in love with someone who I was prepared to spend my life with. He happened to be a boy. We were together for a very long time. We used to sit around and check out girls together, lol.

Well, it was a joke.
I'm quite sure I'm straight as straight can be.
As for homophobia, I do have that.
Okay, maybe I'm not that afraid of lesbians (I do find them very strange though. Not very sure why it's just a gut feeling)
I'm more disgusted by gays (there's a whole click of them in my school who declare they don't need their penises and they'd go up to your face and b***h about stuff)
Okay, I did know homosexuals can have families.
Just that... I'd prefer that my kids had my blood running through them and adopted kids don't seem like family to me.
Maybe they might after a while of staying together but above everything I'd consider children with my own blood 'family'.
Sorry I caused so much trouble!

Agh, a few people making it a stereotype worse for hundreds of thousands more. It would not be the first time. I have always liked Gaia for being so generally accepting of variety, compared to the rest of the world.
I think out of all the replies you got, the grand majority of them are positive. Or poking playful fun at you.

Alright, I think the thread is pretty much over for now. smile
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but at the same time everyone is also entitled to respect, on both sides. There is a lot of adversity for people who are gay/bi, and the concept of homosexual couples is in the process of being accepted. They're fighting the same battles that multi-ethnic couples used to (and still do) face in a lot of ways. The concept at the moment is hard for a lot of people to swallow.
Concerning THIS thread, let's remember that Bapp is young, and I really don't think it was his intention to offend anybody. He's entitled to his opinion and feelings, and there's nothing wrong with him sharing them either. His own personal preference to raise his family the way he wants to is much like how certain people aren't inclined to date a certain ethnic group, you don't mean to be like that, it's just your personal preference and hey. You might meet the right person to change that, you know?
If Bapp was a 36 year old man saying what he was saying, he should know better and I'd then call that being narrow-minded. He doesn't have to change his point of view, but maybe talking in a more calm manner and putting your own opinions on the table next to him might be more effective.
Now that that's addressed, Bapp, I can understand how you see that adopted children might now feel natural. It certainly is an adversity, there's no denying that. Speaking as an adopted child though, I can say that even though I don't share the same blood as the people who took me in, the love in the home was much deeper and better than what I would have gotten from my own blood. smile
About the whole gay thing, I don't hate you for feeling uncomfortable about it or anything like that. It's honestly no surprise, it's just the way society has made it. Thanks for the apology, and I hope at the end of this all we're all still cool like when we first came together as BOOrothers and SINsters.
And No, the pic doesn't make you gay. Wahaha. Takes much more than that, fo sho.
