"Huh?" He was lost. Why was Demy going on about quarters? It's not as if he said anyth- oh wait. He did. Aw duck hunt. "I don't know what you're talking about! I just needed to think how much change I had in my wallet because you happened to get jumped at a burger shop and I'm starting to get the munchies and a burger kinda does sound good so I was thinking about high-tailing down there to get a burger but I don't think I have any money so I thought about quarters and since I don't have any of those that just leaves pennies because all my dimes and nickles go towards turning into quarters for stuff and yeeeah."
Whew! He sat back with a goofy gin on his face. That outta throw him off! HAHA! Who's awesome? Alex was awesome.
"...oh. Really? That's a shame, they're kinda fun. Or if not video games, you could start out with card games or somethin' then move him into video games?"

Demy stared. He simply stared. Throw him off? Damn, that had downright confused him! And this was -Demy-. The one that was usually rambling all day too.
What in the hell?
But one thing stuck out. Burger shop. Demy wasn't really wanting to go anywhere near that place for a while. "Uh...huh. Well if you find some money have...fun getting that burger?" He grinned, a nervous sort of grin. If Alex made any movements towards going to the burger place, Demy was so out of here.
"Card games could work...but I'd have to drag him from his actual plans to play a game. Hrm...."

Oh yeah, he was so awesome. He'd be doing a victory dance if not for the fact that the door was open. The rest of the dorm didn't need to know that his victory dance not only ripped off Final Fantasy III, but it also involved thrusting epically into the air -- again, something the rest of the dorm did not need to see. Really.
"Weeeell I dunno man," Alex replied, looking at the other. "I mean, considering that you got jumped at the burger place, it's not such a hot idea to go back there alone y'know? I mean, what if they're still around? As much as I like burgers and onion rings, I think I'll wait my munchie-madness out and take my changes getting a double-greased hamburger scraped off the floor from the cafeteria instead."
He turned around and eyed his bookshelf, then turned back around to Demy and stared. "He... makes plans? As in plans out his entire day to the point where you'd have to... oh man. He's a slave to time, man! You gotta save him and have him waste his precious minutes with video games!"

"Man you are actually going to chance it with one of those things? Somedays they're good man, but the days those burgers are bad vaaaastly outweigh the days they are good..." His tongue was hanging out in an excellent portrayal of the 'ick' face. Gross man, just gross.
"He doesn't plan out the day he just...makes plans? Elaborate plans. Plans I can't discuss with you because you're my rival and not one of the team. Sorry man!" Here he grinned, watching the other for a reaction. Sorry Alex, this was one EPIC ADVENTURE you couldn't join the party for.

"But it's a buuuurger man!" He protested, throwing up his arms in emphasis. "Y'know, a slab of beef -- okay, so here it'd probably be just a piddle of beef -- sandwiched between two buns of bread and topped with whatever the hell's fresh or not-so-fresh. You should've been there the last time I went to the cafeteria! Y'know how the pizza's usually the safest thing to eat and lately they've been trying to sneak veggies on'em? There was one last slice of the true meaty pizza left so I totally grabbed it first and then this jerk went ahead and tried to take it from me! It was a total mess, man." Yeah, one that resulted in a food fight and Alex ultimately landing into the dumpster with the other pizza snatcher, too.
Alex tilted his head to one side, considering. "Sooo there's just epic plans that don't span out the entire day so it's like, only for part of the day but since there's more than one plan it's basically a buncha little plans that make up the entire day so in effect the entire day is planned out like one of those tight-a** RPG games where you have to be at a certain location by a certain time in order to trigger a certain event which may or may not affect your character the way you want it to so you can continue on. No thanks man! I'm too lazy for plans."

"A total mess huh? What happened man? Didja get your a** beat? Bet -that- wasn't pretty. Throw ya around hrm? Maybe throw food at ya? OR OR OR rub it into your air! Yeaaah bet that was nasty! Ha!" Demy put his hands behind his head, simply grinning his fool head off at the other. Ahhh, imagining his rival at the bottom of his game, getting tossed around by some big badass bullies. It was a pretty amusing thought.
"Uh...whatever man, you don't wanna know about the epic plans? That's fine by me. Fineeee by me." Not that Demy could explain the plans himself. He had a hard enough time remembering them long enough to act on them, let alone actually explain them to someone else.
"So uh...do anything besides get tossed around in the cafeteria and play video games hrm?"
