Slightly suspicious at the actions of 'the incredible exploding shepherd', Delilah walked up to the nearest goat, and turning it over, inspected the indignantly bleating animal for signs of mechanical joints and wiring. "We could've wandered onto one of those 'themed amusement parks' that they had a lot of back then, well, now." Delilah said as she placed the goat down and looked over the herd. "Nope, that one's real."

Sage snickered as she watched Delilah. " I think you made the goat mad Delilah. You better watch your back or it will come after you." She teased.

Delilah cheekily stuck her tongue out a bit at Sage. Then, turned to the goat in question and watched as the newly four-horned goat started to proudly strut around the herd, content with his new appearance. "As long as it doesn't start to follow me around like Mary's lamb, I'm going to be fine."

Sage gave her friend a cheeky grin in return. " I'm going to fall over laughing if it does start following you around. You probably just jinxed yourself."

Jasmine laughed quietly with the others for a moment. "No exploding goats, hopefully. And Delilah made a new goat friend." She walked over to the goat, patting him slightly on the head. He bleated, whether happily or annoyed Jasmine didn't know. "We're still lost, though, and no friendly shepherds to lead our way."

Delilah tested the goat by walking a few feet east. The goat didn't automatically follow, but after a while was following Delilah's steps. She laughed a bit, then said "Well if we are in Greece, I might be able to work out where we are..." Delilah looked up into the sky where the sun was a few hours past it's zenith or height. "Well if that way's west, we might be able to work our way from there. Shall we vote on a direction to take?" She said, scratching the goat's ear.

Sage was too busy laughing to answer Delilah's question. She had warned Delilah but she didn't believe her! Grinning impishly she created a mirage that had Delilah dressed up like Mary from the song.

"Hey! Why've I got the bo-peep get-up?" then laughing at the mirage, said to the goat with a pointed finger, "Don't you be getting any ideas". The goat however, tried to nibble at the phantom hooped skirt which was baby prawn pink and looked almost too extravagent to be a simple shepherdess's wear.

Sage laughed even more when she saw the goat trying to nibble the nonexistent dress. " Aww it looks good on you Delilah!"

"Yes, I suppose it does, in a sort of 20th century toilet dolly fashion." Looking towards the southern horizon, Delilah saw a grey whisp of smoke. "Did you see that- over there?" as she pointed out the thin grey smudge on the bright blue sky. Delilah could see many trees there- was that what a forest looked like from afar? Having been raised in a steppe wasteland on the outskirts of Romania, the closest things to forests there were blackened root-stumps and the occasional boulder. Even when she had fled towards Poland there were still not many trees.

Sage stopped laughing and straightened up vanishing the mirage quickly. It wouldn't do to be caught off guard if something happened.

Delilah quickly gave herself the eyes of an eagle and looked ahead to the spot. It was slightly strange to look in this way, every small detail being magnified to giant proportions and from what Delilah saw she was certain that someone, or rather some thing had made a fire of a sort and where there was fire, there were people. The goat brushed against her leg, confused that the gaily coloured material that it thought that it had been nibbling on had vanished. Looking down onto the goat, Delilah saw individual red-brown hair follicles and the black nose in extreme detail. The eyes, were a dull bronze colour and appeared to have noticed the fire in the distance. It trotted towards it, seemingly forsaking the larger group of goats and sheep. Reverting to her normal eyes, it taking a while after getting used to seeing things not magnified as they had been. "If we head there," She pointed toward the grey-brown smudge of what appeared to be the forest, "We could ask those people for directions."

Sage nodded her head. " Lead the way then Delilah. You'll be the spokesperson for us."

Leading the group to the forest, Delilah peered around the tall almost black-barked trees, past the occasional thick grey tree that she couldn't identify and some tall and tangled bushes. Peering through them, she saw a statue of a man with the lower half of a goat, decked in what appeared to be many garlands of flowers. Looking closer at the strange statue, Delilah thought she recognised it from somewhere, but couldn't say where from. The goat trotted up to the goat and pulled at one of the garlands on the statue.

Sage glanced over at Flicker. " Do you know who that is Flicker? You're the one with all the Historical facts that you can spout off at any given time so is this statue included?" She asked in a teasing tone.
