Warui flicked his nose with his thumb, "Oi, you got a point... we wouldn't want you to wrinkly up that pretty fa-" Warui considered for a moment what he was saying and then paused. With CONSIDERABLY effort he bowed slightly- he wasn't gonna screw THIS up like everything else.
" 'Cuse me... we wouldn't want them to get the drop on us. Best we can figure from our preliminary scout'n, the Tengu are not within the local vicinity. However I should note that when I fought one- they didn't need to make an entrance, they simply appeared so we can assume they can do some sorta teleportation that isn't an illusion 'cause I can't be effected by those."

"I see... So the enemy has an geographical advantage over us. Not to worry. My men have already previously studied the snow's land quite carefully. I think the further we reach towards the frozen lake, the more we'll see of their men. And that, will be the closest and quickest way to reach their leader. The more resistance they put up would surely signify whatever it is they're trying to hide." That was her method of advancing; kill the head, and the body would surely diminish. After all, she had no problem killing her husband and gaining his position and power when HE tried to kill her...For the World- Tan Dun

Disobey me.... The Mizukage's eye twitched. 'You have got to be kidding me!' He was their leader....this pervert.... this IDIOT was the leader of the Uzumaki alliance??? The statistics she had ran upon her arrival were sorely plumetting in her brain. But Lady Sanae was right... she let out a deep sigh to calm herself at least enough to keep a level head, then her eyes shot back at Inkei as he was about to give her more reson to send her next vector into his crotch. But he stopped himself just in time. "Heh. Nice save." Devonte murmured under his breath. Suijin raised and eyebrow at his next statement. Not an illusion? She and the Yukikage just concluded that the Tengu were an illusion. And her info was coming from Snow-refugees that had been in their presence for months according to them. Were they wrong? Mizukage Suijin's eyes narrowed. There was something about these Tengu.... and whatever it was the Mizukage didn't like it. She was about to say something, when shouting was heard from the mob of Mist nin behind her. At first she thought they'd been attacked, then saw a group of them in a poorly constructed circle backing off and shouting names. The Mizukage was not pleased by this. Not. One. Bit. Her eyes narrowed dangerously. "Excuse me one moment." she said to the Kusakage and Inkei. She squared her shoulders and stormed over to the crowd. Her steps were hard, yet fluid as the snow made a crunching noise underneath her feet. As some of them noticed the Mizukage approaching, a look of fear washed over their faces and stepped away, making a path for her. Those who didn't notice were harshly shoved aside. Even big, burly men were knocked into the snow by the silver-haired woman. When she came to the two nin fighting, she pulled out her great sword. In an instant, the sword of the taller shinobi was clamped between Oniago's jagged 'teeth' and his opponent was hoisted high into the air by a chakra vector. "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE!" She growled. The one held by her vector was all ready wounded, so she threw him at a group of medic nin nearby, who took the hint and begand healing him. She twisted her sword , causing him to step off balance, pulled him in close and launched her knee into his groin. His eyes went wide and he let out a loud grunt; pretty sure balls were destroyed for ever. The Mizukage grabbed his arm, twisted it around behind his back and stomped her foot on the base of his neck, between his shoulder blades. If she were to push down just so much farther, his arm would snap like a twig. He grunted as she spun him with her so they looked out on the army of the shinobi nations. "Do you see that? Well? DO YOU!""Y-yes." he muttered between gasps of pain. "Hm? Yes- what?""Yes ma'am!""That's better! Now tell me what that is!" she commanded. "It's an army of every shinobi nation... ma'am.""Yer damn right it is! And do you know why we're all here? To destroy the Tengu and put a stop to this threat upon our entire world. This is WAR! So quit pussyin' around! We're here to fight the Tengu not our comrades! If you're gonna act like a bunch a snot-nosed genin then you can just swim home right now! DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?!" she barked at him with conviction. There was now way she was going to allow such behavior. Not from her ninja. "I understand Lady Mizukage!" Releasing his arm she shoved her foot into his back, making him face plant into the snow. She shot a glare at the rest of the shinobi. They turned away and went about their business. No one from Kiri was gonna try that again! Satisfied, she walked back over to Lady Kusakage and Inkei. "Sorry about that. They can be a little.... rambunctious." Wow that was a major undertsatement! "Anyway, we need to gather the other kages and come up with an actual attack plan." she said firmly. She was still a bit pissed at the shinobi, but there were more pressing matters right now. Like making sure the rest of Kirigakure's forces weren't annihilated. .....at your peril.

The Kusakage smiled as she watched Suijin bark out orders to her men and smiled with great pleasure as they cowered and faltered at the sound and sight of their kage, a mere WOMAN. It comforted her to know that there were still women out there who know how to put such childish men in their place... "That is quite alright," said Sanae coolly, "And you're right; if we're going to follow this thoroughly, I suggest we find the rest of the kages. Let's move, shall we?"
"But my lady," spoke one of her men, his face hidden under a straw hat as he walked forward from behind her.
"What is it, Gin?"
"What about the Sand village? Err, the Kazekage and his shinobi have not arrive yet, and I'm pretty sure we need them--"
"No," she barked. A little too loud for her own good too. Her voice sounded harsh and cruel compared to the usual silver-soft voice she used. "The Sand can handle its own problems. We've waited for them for far too long. Their kage shows nothing but a lack of focus and incompetence for not showing up in battle. It's obvious our Sand kage's too much a coward to show up here."
"But my lady--"
"You will march on my order, and that is that. Whether he shows up or not is his deal. For now, we must find the others and fight together with all that we have. Let Sand be dealt with last. Little Sazoru would only see this as a game, anyway. Let's keep moving."
"... Right."

Keichii sighed and ruffled his hair a bit. Jeeze, they were getting nowhere fast. From what he could gather, he assumed the Tengu were hiding behind a snow drift somewhere laughing at them.
What Warui said struck a cord with him, though. The Tengu; the way they move so quickly... The creatures obviously had a hypnotic effect on their victims and they would appear and vanish at will. Keichii was now certain the Tengu were in fact a jutsu of some kind and most certainly not a being found in nature. Considering the likelihood of several ninja having this same, omnipotent attack, they all had to be coming from a single source, which worked to the army's advantage.
A biting wind tore through his frail body. Damn, it was as if nature itself was against him. Hm... nature... Keichii's mind wandered back to that plant...
But then he lost his train of thought. No one seemed to know what they were doing, the Mist nin were beating up on each other, hell, even the Kusakage was getting upset. Keichii couldn't blame the Sand shinobi for not showing up.

Rakutsu swayed back and forth in uneasy anticipation. They had finally reached the edge of the Land of Snow, but so far there had been no action. It made the tension between the foreign shinobi that much more noticable, to the point where Rakutsu almost wished the Tengu would show up. She hummed a song warily in an attempt at soothing. "Dead men lying on the bottom of the grave, Wondering when savior comes, is he gonna be saved?"It wasn't working, but it was the first song to come to mind. ι'll pяoвαвlγ εnd up cяγιng

Having simply been listing the Hokage stepped forward,
"Perhaps I can shed some light on the true nature of these Tengu. In all likelihood they are illusions given life by my late husband's Grand Leaf Royal Phantom technique. Suffice it to say if that is the case, it was done against his will at the hands of an omni-present ninja by the name of Akuma Fuka- the last Kage of the Rain Village." She suggested simply as if where the correct time to do so.

"CALLED IT!" Keichii blurted out. He'd been trying to keep the jack-assery bottled up in consideration of his new-found "feelings", but screw that. He was right.
He noticed a couple of the shinobi standing next to him were staring and he withdrew a little. Then a thought struck him.
"...Why didn't ya say somethin' earlier?"

Disobey me.... Suijin thought she heard that the Kazekage was Lady Sanae's brother or something last night, but she couldn't remember for sure. It was apparent that she bore a grudge against him, though. 'Hmph. Join the club...' she thought. Seemed like everyone had some form of animosity towards someone here, or soon to be here. Keizo listened to Rakutsu as she started humming. He quickly took a likeing to her song and began strumming the tune with her. The Mizukage didn't turn to look directly at the Hokage, merely watched her from the corner of her eye. 'What the hell kinda technique is that. Bit of a mouthful ta say ain't it?' The Mizukage said to herself. Keichii's reaction was almost laughable. He acted so like a child. What in all the Hells could have possesed the Hokage to name him Yukikage? -she wondered. Though Mizukage Suijin accepted Keichii as the acting Yukikage, (not that there were many other choices) she was still suspicious of the Hokage's action. Regardless, the Mizukage set her mind on the battle at hand. Though she didn't trust the informations source, she didn't have much choice but to take it. And since it seemed as if the Hokage knew the most about this jutsu.... "Then what do you suggest we do to defeat them." she said flatly. The Mizukage hadn't moved a muscel; her eyes remained locked on the Hokage from their corners. Eyes as cold as the snow under her feet. Right now- it wasn't about grudges. It wasn't about long-felt hate. It wasn't about how much she didn't want anything to do with an alliance involving the Leaf. It was about war and the fact that she needed to know all she could about her enemy in order to spare the lives of as many Kirigakure shinobi as possible. ......though that didn't mean she had to act pleasant towards the Hokage. Shouta stood back and simply watched the group talk as he listened. He hadn't moved or said a word since Warui Inkei approached them. Nyirei was relatively quiet as well. Though, she did have a tendancy to remain silent unless she felt the need to speak. Devonte, who had gadually staggered farthest from the group had pulled out his giant battle axe and absent mindedly took some practice swings with it. He couldn't stand still. He just couldn't. You were still when you dead. And if he didn't keep his blood flowing in this savage cold, he would die. Mizukage Suijin .....at your peril.

She smiled as Keizo's guitar urged her to keep going. ''They were crying when their sons left All young men must go He's come so far to find the truth He's never going home''
Normally Keichii or somebody would have pelted her in the head with a Snowball by now for not focusing on the main mission, But nobody in their right mind would even try to strike her While she was waving her claw around as though she were conducting an Opera. ''Welcome to the Soldier Side Where there's no one here but me People all grow up to die There is no one here but me''Rakutsu paused taking a small breather. She turned to Keizo and grinned. ''That's some talent you have there. How long have you been playing Guitar?'' She questioned him politely, Setting her hand on her hip. Something about her was quite different. Almost as if something in her attitude had been tweaked. While Rakutsu had been singing she also noticed and took note of Devonte's staggered movements and watched him carefully. It was an everyday thing for new people or even migrating party's to die in the merciless snow. ι'll pяoвαвlγ εnd up cяγιng

The Hokage simply ignored the banter and continued when they had subsided, "As I understand it we would need to kill Akuma Fuka. Unfortunately... as we speak he can doubtlessly hear us. My late husband is in some fashion under his influence- and his technique would allow the Tengu to react to whatever we conciser doing. Hence their "supernatural" abilities. They are not genjutsu, but manifestations of Akuma's chakra. I can't claim to have extensive knowledge of either techniques but that is how I understand it. The only true manor to best him would be to overwhelm him. Our numbers could possibly cause him to have to split his attention between too many fronts. Even if he knows this, I can not foresee a way he can work around it- though it is not outside the realm of possibilities. The only other alternative is to have a person or small cell of ninja dedicated to locating and destroying him. The members of such a cell would have to be fast enough to engage the Tengu on a personal level." She explained in a rather drull voice, like a school teacher explaining the final test to a class.

Silent until now Hito- the acting Kage of Rain perked up after she spoke, "Aye... as I unda'stan' it Akuma is a bloody nightmare when it comes to his plot'en, but I find it hard ta' believe 'at he would do some'then this gran'. His type isn't tha' sort ta' lead the charge, my guess is he's work'en fer' some one, that I do."
He considered the situation farther as he drove the tip of his wide-bladed sword into the ground. "He's a crafty bloke, but I don't know if his mind-reading technique was "omni-present" 'er whateva'. It seemed very limited, I mean he was outsed by "the big shark" an' he wasn't much fer' think'en."
Hito seemed almost relaxed in the situation. He was young for a Kage, maybe mid twenties, but he acted a good deal older. He spoke with a smoothness that betrayed the militant appearance he had. Hito had been the leader for the Nuame group which had led the rebellion against Fuka. His experience in leading people showed in his calm demeanor and regard for the layman. In his heart he couldn't STAND the other Kages. They where from the "upper class" in his mind and amounted to nothing more than foppy nobles. He showed respect, but it only went as far as what would accomplish his own goals.

Disobey me.... Keizo continued to play a different song when Rakutsu stopped. The scruffy old man let out a low chuckle to her question. "The day I was able ta pick up a kunai, I was able to pick up a guitar." After a moment he continued, "You need ta learn how ta love if you're gonna learn how ta kill..." That was his main principle. And to him- music was the greatest source of peace and love. After all, he hadn't gotten any love from anywhere else as a child. The only thing his parents seemed to care about was war and bloodshed and how he was 'gonna become a real monster when Keizo grew up'. Traveling through the slums he found a man playing a guitar for money, but the old druggie died right infront of him. Curious about the instrument, Keizo took it with him. Hiding it from his parents and teaching himself to play through experimentation where they couldn't find him. It was through that guitar he found some peace of mind and when he became a shinobi, he had a steel guitar crafted for him. One that come with a few tricks in it's chords. The Mizukage listened to the Hokage, and was already running plans in her mind on what her orders would be for her shinobi. At the same time she was running statistics on the probable death count each attack plan would bring. However, the shinobi of the other villages remained a varriable, since she didn't really know the extent of their skills. Her head turned to the Kage of Rain as he spoke. He wasn't too much younger than she, and from his composure and the way he spoke she could tell he had exceptional leadership skills. That was good. The Hokage's suggestion of having a cell assigned to finding this Akuma was something she could agree on. Mizukage Suijin had been planning on something similar after all. Without a doubt, if there was to be one squad following this attack patteren, she would be on it. The Mist had to have a representative in this after all. Why not her? 'So, the Hokage's husband's working for Akuma who's probably working for someone else?' she mulled over in her head. If that was correct, then it would be only a matter of time till the true culprit of this madness was revealed. 'Wait.... I thought he was dead.... ugh. Damn re-animations....' The Mizukage groaned to herself. True, there were several forbidden jutsus that could bring souls back to life- man were those a pain in the a**! Disturbing the soul of a person, whether from Mist or from Leaf, was low in her eyes. A disgusting and utterly disrespectful act. Without even thinking on what she was doing, Suijin instinctively hummed a line of Keizo's song. 'still my guitar gently weeps...'Out of anxiety, Shouta had joined Devonte a little ways away from the group. Devonte swung lazily, yet still quite powerfully, at Shouta as he blocked each blow with his bladed staff. There was a loud clang each time their weapons met. Setting her mind back to the enitial planning of attack, the Mizukage asked, "So then... who'll be going after this b*****d?" And gave a look that said- 'Ya sure as hell ain't leaving me out on this!'.....at your peril.

Keichii's eyes were closed in frustration. This was going to be a hassle, wasn't it..?
"So if the b*****d can't read minds from too far 'way, that 'splains why he went ahead an' just killed ev'ryun. He coulda just taken out the threats if he knew what each shinobi was up to. It's gotta be easier ta just sense where people are than what each-uv-un was thinkin'..."
Keichii turned to the Amekage.
"So what's this devil's deal, huh? If-ee's such a snake, then the guy's gotta have some kinda motive, right? I wanna know what this final boss's gonna be like--what he's offerin' his mooks, 'specially ones who already got crazy-strong jutsu."

"The Yukage is correct. If he is not at the heart of the matter it would serve only to delay the conflict if we where to kill just Akuma and leave his master unscathed- should that be thee case." The Hokage suggested elegantly as she recognized Keichii formally in person as the leader of Snow. "Perhaps it would be best if discussed this among leaders- not that I don't value the inputs of subordinates, but this matter that would only become clouded with to many voices." She mentioned as the group discussing the matter seemed to include several of the Mist Kages lackeys and Keichii's sister.
