Mutant/Human Relations View: Eli feels life is what it is, and could care less about the Mutants/Human Relations, He feels he is just a mere pawn until a time may come when he is needed of importance. If it can be justified given the circumstances, it should be allowed.
History: Elliot Schaffer was born to a middle class family. His Father served multiple terms in both Gulf Wars, and the War on Terror. His Mother was a mutant, and worked in at home ICU care, where she could use her abilities to her best. Since at home ICU care meant those terminally ill were soon dying, they'd spend their last moments at home. Eli's mom had the ability to heal injury and sickness with a mere touch. Eli's dad was unaware of his Mother's abilities.
When Eli was eight, his sister was born, and he took immediate interest in helping out his younger sister. A year and a half later, Eli's powers manifested in the presence of his father and mother. His father, being someone who was strongly against the mutant populace became enraged. He went to his gun closet where he grabbed one of his rifles and shot Eli, four shots center mass. Eli's mother screamed and yelled, and in a fit of confused rage and despair, her ability's dark side showed, as she slapped and attacked Eli's father, his leg muscle quickly degenerated and he began to lose control of his legs. In his continued rage, as he sat on the ground unable to do anything, he fired aimlessly at Elliot's mother. Elliot's mom, fell, blood flowing from the wounds she rolled over and left her hand on Elliot, where she slowly healed him of his wounds. Eli was in a Coma, his father Jailed and his sister circulated in a foster home.
Five years later he had awoken again where he spent two years relearning basic functions and skills. In this time he took to his studies, bed ridden in the hospital. He took a quick interest in Sciences, where he began studying chemistry, maths, and physics. Quickly however, with much free time, he managed to rediscover his powers. This time, in solitude, he was able to keep it a secret until his research brought him to Academy X.
Today he continues to study sciences. Because of this, Eli is low on the popular scale, as well as the amount of friends. It doesn't bother him however. His positive attitude keeps him going. He writes and visits frequently to his sister.
Eli does not recall the day when he first manifested his powers and was assaulted and put into a coma by his father.

He often goes about shirtless, as it's more comfortable without the constraints of cotton wrapping around him. Place of Birth: Montana Family: It's a gaggle of indians Because of the deplorable conditions of the reservations, most of the families live in close quarters, meaning his three brothers, mother and grandparents all share a home.

It's a common thing for the tribes to learn about the healing mechanisms of a plant, what leaves mixed and boiled aid in aches and ails, what ones can be used for topical wounds, etc. Though, he's nowhere near an expert. Basic stuff for now.
Personal Strengths: He's charismatic, animated, and is good with his hands. Herbology. Personal Weaknesses: His personal weaknesses include pretty girls, anything school related, and he has a size complex to boot. Personality: Under his funloving exterior, Peta sees the world for what it is. He has a quick temper, but often fights himself internally to keep his cool. Often he's logical, but even he has his hair-brained moments. Hobbies: White water rafting, hunting.
Mutant/Human Relations View: Really, Peta believes that his powers were bestowed upon him by the Old Man. He has no opinions of who gave the other mutants their powers, and he’s not one to hold his ability over those who are merely human’s heads. Mutant domination? He lived in squalor… it’s not likely for him to think so haughtily on such matters.
History: Obviously, by the looks of him, Peta is not a full blooded native; his father was a pale face, but his mother loved him deeply enough to go against what was expected of them. She had three sons in their union, but the reservation life (which they were not permitted because her husband was not part of the tribe), and they eventually separated. The tribe allowed for her to come back, boys in tow after a long tribal council meeting on whether or not they would allow half breeds to diminish the purity of their tribe. Eventually, they came to terms that they could accept; the boys would be considered kin, but at the age of 20 they were to decide if they belong to the tribe or to the white men.
Until then, the three boys -Peta being the eldest- were to grow up as a Blackfoot should, and they would learn in the exclusive setting the ways of the tribe. They'd hear the stories of Cree (Old Man; their creator), they'd learn to hunt, the importance of buffalo, the mountains and the plains, and more importantly, the sun. For the average Blackfoot, the sun held the greatest importance of the circle of life. It was brought their crops to fruition, brought the smile to women's faces, and warmed their flesh to comfort. And in the colder months, those few sunny days provided hope of better times that would come if they'd only endure.
Winters brought bitter lessons, and often the reservation ran scarce of food, and the Montana snow storms kept them frozen, but forced them to brave the harsh and accosting weather conditions. But, as most children did, he failed to see that life could have been better. Like most, he just took it for what it had to offer, and learned to enjoy the mountainous region with skiing, and icefishing. But as the summer ended on his fifteenth year, dreams of Na pi came to him while he slept under the stars, bringing images of him growing in size, to heights that towered over the Chippelay trees, but then he'd shrink to where he could house himself beneath the knots of the tree roots. The images were as consistent as his ever changing height; he'd be two heads taller than his mother one day, and then eye level with his younger brothers in the next day. It was odd to be sure, and when brought forth in front of the council, it was said that Cree had blessed him with an ability.
So in the course of the next three years, Peta worked diligently on controlling this latent power, bringing himself to greater heights, to a miniature scale, only to have something go inevitably wrong with the shifting. Often times, only part of him would shift; his head would grow to the size of a melon before he could correct it. While he could accomplish being smaller on a regular basis, growing any bigger than his normal size caused issues that he couldn’t quite grasp control of. In the midst of practicing his archery, reservation life, and his shifting, Peta graduated high school, and once again Cree approached him in his dreams, informing him that he’d not be able to master his skills within the constraints of the tribe, that he’d have to find somewhere else to help him. There were people that could coax control out of him, carve the ability into something useful.
Peta researched, using a library off of the reservation for a computer, and after a strenuous search he found something like what the Old Man had whispered during the nights that he slept. He applied, and with a few scholarships and scraping money up from working off the reservation (gasp!), Peta was able to make his way to New York, leaving behind the beauty that the Western horizon contained.
Age: 19 Birthday: March 14 Hair: Black Eyes: Dark green with gray flecks that seem slightly devoid of light. When using her powers her eyes darken to a very dark almost black green. Her shirts range from a halter top to sweaters depending on her mood. She tends to wear some type of sneaker most of the time for comfort but will usually wear some type of heels with dresses or skirts. She is not partial to any particular color though she does tend to wear black since it goes well with her skin tone.

Superhuman Ability: Umbrakinesis - Through unconscious pulling of darkness towards her and absorbing it she can sometimes instill fear in others because of it. When she is in a room at times it can appear dimmer than it really is as a by product of her ability. Bianca is able to expel the darkness it in a variety of ways. She can create a wall of solid darkness to act as some form of defense against attacks though given she is still learning it isn't super strong yet. She can expel the dark energy as concussive blasts or beams of pure darkness.

Another way is expelling all the darkness at once as a kind of mist that blankets the surrounding area in darkness giving off a feeling of numbing cold and sometimes fear. By forming a platform of solid darkness beneath her she is able to simulate flight.
Abilities (not gained from mutation): Being on the track team at her old human school she is quite quick on her feet. Even as a child her mother put a love for the violin in her so therefore she learned how to play it quite well. She knows how to cook well enough to survive on but certainly can not be confused with a chef. She speaks Italian though not quite fluently.

Personal Strengths: She has a high level of energy to keep her going for long periods of time thanks to her absorbing darkness. She can live off of darkness for a day or two without food or water and function completely normally. Personal Weaknesses: Given that she draws her power from darkness in the absence of it she can only rely on what she has stored in her body which can't hold much yet. Personality: Initially kind and understanding preferring to give everyone a chance. If you get on her bad side however she can be quite cold though she rarely ever shows that side. Her cold side however tends to surface while using her powers since it seems to drain all goodness out of her to do so. Tends to cause people to fear her because of what her ability entails. Being undecided as to her sexuality she does not take kindly to getting hit on by either sex. Her father is a sore subject with her as she still loves him dearly therefore any attempted talk about him usually ends badly. Hobbies: Reading, Drawing to a certain extent, Jogging/Running, Yoga, Playing the violin, etc.

History: Growing up in what she thought to be a middle class family Bianca was born a few minutes after her twin brother Dorian. Life was pretty good though unbeknownst to her or her brother her father was involved in some shady connections that ran all the way to the mob. Either way she was always loved by her father as was her brother so therefore neither of them cared. As the years went by their family was expanded with the addition of her two sisters Ivana and Celestina. Through the years their father's work allowed them to move into a lower end upper class neighborhood. Bianca and Dorian eventually started going to a private school and at first things were great. People grew to like the twins and even their siblings when they arrived in school. Life was good and when they entered into high school Bianca joined the track team and practiced violin at her mother's request. Her father was against her joining the track team at first but after seeing how happy she was he relented. Her brother did his own thing in high school but they remained rather close. Things were good until rumors started floating around school about her father's line of work at which time her brother would squash such rumors by beating up the one who started them. Still they bothered her.
Not one to think the worst of people especially her family Bianca asked him about it to which he denied them at first. However after awhile of the rumors floating around he finally sit the family down and told them what he did but assured them it was nothing to morally wrong. He stated he had never killed anybody or stole anything and instead simply handled finances. Feeling slightly happier about the situation things went back to normal until weird things started happening around her. Lights would occasionally flicker around her and it almost seemed as if darkness was attracted to her. Eventually the kids at school began avoiding her afraid of her and even her brother at first seemed more distant. She quit the track team shortly after. It was quite obvious after awhile that she was a mutant but her father and mother didn't want to send her away from the family. Her brother remained distant until some of the other kids decided to try and pick on her at which point he let them know it wasn't going to happen. Over the next few months till school was out she avoided most of the other kids only having a few friends left that still liked her. Dorian spent most of his time in trouble for defending her and life seemed to go on.
Finding a semblance of happiness again her father was arrested by the local police for his connections and sentenced to a few years in jail. That was around the time when the outbursts started and she would simply expel some of her stored dark energy all over her room. Her family didn't have to worry about making it thanks to how much money her father had saved over the years in secret for just such circumstances. However in light of her father's arrest things at school heated back up when they returned leading up to her accidentally expelling dark energy and hitting a fellow student who was picking on her. The student wasn't seriously injured but it lead to almost everyone hating her only having one friend remaining. The rest of her school life was somewhat miserable but she got by because of her family and friend. Graduating from high school it wasn't long before her mother entertained the idea of sending her to the academy. Then a short time later Bianca was sent to the academy to learn control.

Dimitri can be seen usually with regular gym attire such as tank tops, shorts and tennis shoes, or with his shirt off.

Superhuman Ability: Dimitri has the ability to generate and manipulate lava; most likely a result and mix of his father and mother’s abilities. He can also turn his entire body into lava. At the moment Dimitri’s lava temperature is normal for lava, between 1300 degrees and 2200 but has potential to excel even higher. His heat resistance at the moment is 2200 degrees but like his lava, has potential to rise.
Since the Registration Act, Dimitri has upped his training sessions in the danger room severely. Now going into the Underground Chapter, Dimitri's has increased the temperature of his lava and such to 3500F, and has immunity to heat and flame overall in his lava form.
Unfortunately, one of Dimitri’s weaknesses is extreme cold temperatures of water that can easily leave the average human or mutant dead within seconds or minutes. In human form, his attacks can be weakened but if he gets hit with the water, he can bring his temperature up easily. Dimitri in his lava form is where his weakness shines, leaving his body in molten rock if connected with extreme cold water. Once this occurs, Dimitri needs a few minutes of recovery before he is back to normal again. Being underwater is also another weakness depending on the temperature and size. While small pools can easily turn to steam, oceans and lakes leave him unable to activate his powers underwater. The next drawback is that his lava form as well as his projectiles requires a degree of concentration. If he is too exhausted mentally, then he needs rest until he has enough energy. Last but not least is his power. Anyone or anything that is close to him while Dimitri is using his powers; even being near his projectiles will cause him or her to burn or melt severely.
Abilities (not gained from mutation): Dimitri has been practicing the martial art forms of muay Thai and the ground art Brazilian jiu-jitsu from his parents when they began his training around the time of high school. With the dangerous art of Muay Thai as well as the ability to submit a target from the ground, if he keeps his training up he can be a dangerous martial artist.

Personal Strengths: Dimitri likes to stay positive, even if things don’t seem to go his way or his teammates way. Also he doesn’t like to give up and is willing to do what it takes to finish his objective; more than likely taken from bodybuilding and his love for exercise. His trash talking and jokes in addition are always good to hear during fights or during impossible situations; sort of a way to hide his fear. Plus he is confident and likes to go into battles or dangerous situations head first.
Personal Weaknesses: As a result of joking around most of the time and talking trash, he can be seen as someone that does not take things seriously. Add that to the fact that he is not a fan of sad moments like funerals, hearing about death, it can be implied that he does not care when he just does not like to hear about things like that. Plus with his powers, Dimitri likes to work alone and is not happy when working with others, making it appear to be that he doesn’t like to work as a team when in reality he doesn’t want what happened to Calypso to happen to anyone else and he’s at his best when he’s alone.
Personality: Dimitri can be described best as a fun guy. Of course by "fun" guy, that means he loves making jokes 99 percent of the time, talk trash and is a bit of a show off; from checking himself out in the mirror to walking in public with no shirt and shorts. In addition he also likes adventure and a good challenge to go with it. But underneath his fun personality, he does not like to see people that he care about in danger, or to move away. As a result, he doesn’t really have true friends. In addition he does not like to fail and blames failure on himself. Mostly about how he could have done it if he was stronger, better, more focused, etc.

Mutant/Human Relations View: Dimitri knows that mutants are superior to humans and that humans have tools that are a threat to mutants. He believes that the road to peace between the two is a long journey and when they do reach it; the road will be broken once more. There will be some sort of balance, like the sentinels and such, but peace is another story.
History: The California born Dimitri Otengam had a difficult life right before his powers kicked in and right after he began to learn control. At a young age, he was always an active kid even though he was overweight and out of shape. This of course resulted in teasing and name calling. In addition, when he did sweat, his powers would kick in and increase his skin temperature over 100 degrees, resulting in ice packs and hospital visits for the friends he played with. Around junior high, Dimitri did not have too many friends; mostly because of his powers except one, named Dax. Dimitri and Dax quickly became the best of friends (along with their family) and endured what junior high threw at them. Plus his parents helped him a bit with controlling his core temperature; since that was all that Dimitri was showing as a mutant that was all they had seemed to be working with. Things seemed to be going good for Dimitri; the boy was learning to control a portion of his powers in addition to having a true friend that endured whatever junior high threw at them all the way to graduation. On that day, Dimitri and Dax’s parents took a trip on a beach in Hawaii to celebrate.
Unfortunately, this would be a day that would stick with Dimitri throughout his years to come. Dimitri and Dax were wrestling with each other, when suddenly his powers kicked into overdrive. Calypso was on the ground when Dimitri offered a hand. As soon as Dax took Dimitri’s hand, it was covered in magma and was quickly eating Calypso’s arm away. Dimitri screamed out for help and tried to use his other hand and bring him towards the water. All Dax could do was scream out for help as well as telling Dimitri to not let him die. But his attempt to bring him towards the water in an attempt to cool the magma got worse when Dax skin started to incinerate due to Dimitri trying to help him. By the time the parents came, Dax was reduced to bits in the water. Right then and there, it didn’t take a genius for Dax’s parents to realize that Dimitri and his family were mutants. Add that plus the fact that their only son was dead quickly resulted in their friendship being over and having the cops called the next day. Fortunately, Dimitri’s family had no choice but to pack all of their valuables and leave that night quickly thanks to a friend of theirs.
After that day, they moved to a different city, hoping to start a new life for themselves as well as Dax and the next chapter was High school. At first, he avoided contact with anything as much as he could. Offering to stand during classes, having teachers put books his backpack, and avoiding girls. Dimitri’s idea was that as long as nothing was touching him, nothing was burning around him. He did not want people to suffer the same fate as Dax. However his powers had seemed to do some good for him around high school rather than kill anything that he touched. First was that his parents had moved their training to the beach, implementing martial arts along as well. Then Dimitri’s parents increased the intensity of his training. Add that to his body being constantly hot and his love for being active, he began to lose weight at a fast pace and gain control of his powers. Around his second year of high school, it seemed that Dimitri’s training was working. He was now able to touch things now without it burning. This was the year when it was safe to say that things were starting to get a little better for Dimitri. He was loosening up, being more social, and took up the bodybuilding lifestyle due to his love for exercise. This had gotten him some recognition from others, and some popularity, especially with the ladies. From here till graduation, Dimitri began to balance schoolwork, his social life, exercising as well as training with his parents; sometimes tilting towards training and other times towards his social life.
After 4 years the 18 year old Dimitri was one of the top students in popularity, and had gotten a very good grasp of his powers. And graduation was going to be the day he had to put his training and his performance to the test. Right after the ceremony and the students tossed up their hats, they were interrupted by 5 mutants who took the stage. One of the mutants called out Dimitri, explaining how they have been watching him from when he killed his friend, to him training with his parents, all the way up to this moment. The class at first didn’t believe the mutant because they have not seen Dimiri’s powers. However they quickly became aware when the leader ordered the other 4 mutants to attack Dimitri. His sister and parents then quickly joined the fight against the 4 mutants while the leader disappeared. Four on Four seemed like a fair fight but the thousands of innocent civilians that were at the graduation quickly turned it into a massacre. Dimitri’s parents and sister tried to save as many as they can but the ones that were alive didn’t outweigh the ones who were dead. Not to mention the mutants left the scene seconds after police and the swat team arrived; leaving Dimitri and his family the ones to blame and the ones to be attacked as well. The family managed to escape from the swat team but in less than 24 hours, Dimitri and his family were all over the news, basically saying how they are examples of mutants that are out of control and needed to be put down. This time they had to law low till either things blew off or until another mutant decided to do it for them.
Their wish was granted but it came with even more consequences. Shortly afterwards, Magneto went berserk in N.Y, racking up casualties in the millions, and the fight between SHEILD and Magneto made it worse, making the total of casualties almost a whopping 10 million. With Mutants being reduced to kill on sight, and sentinels sniffing out the ones who looked like humans, Dimitri and his family had to disappear; though Dimitri and his sister still needed to work on their powers. So one night, they devised a way to split up, with the help of a mutant named Glance with the ability of teleportation, who helped out Dimitri’s family on many occasions, including the incident with Calypso. Dimitri mom and dad were to go away to a different continent to lay low(plus they needed a vacation), while Dimitri and his sister were to pack up their bags and meet Glance in a back alley at night to take them to the Xavier Institute to continue their training. Dimitri’s parents planned on sending him there during his years of high school but wanted him to be in a normal school. They said their last good-byes that night before Warp teleported their parents away. That morning, Dimitri and his sister packed up and waited until dark where the plan would then take action. But even then Dimitri and his sister could not catch a break. The same mutants from graduation ambushed them in the back alley, resulting in a battle that lasted a couple of minutes until Glance had enough power for the teleportation. Then suddenly Glance was badly injured by a sentinel that seemed to come out of nowhere. Dimitri’s sister checked on Glance and told her that he had enough energy to take them both but because of the sentinel, who was fighting with the mutants and Dimitri, could only take one. Dimitri’s sister than knew what had to be done.
She told Glance to take Dimitri instead while she would be left behind to take out the sentinel and the mutants. She knew Dimitri would not agree so she told Warp to do it the second she would send him his way. She got back into the fight and told Dimitri that he had to go check on Glance and gave him one last hug. As soon as Dimitri went to go check on Glance, he activated his powers and disappeared from California, leaving his sister behind with the sentinel as well as the mutants who were planning on killing them. In less than seconds, Dimitri and Warp were outside of the Academy, where Dimitri demanded to know what the hell happened back there. Glance explained to him that he only had enough for one after the attack and that his sister wanted him to go since the mutants wanted him the most. Plus that he needed time to recover, meaning they couldn’t go back and get his sister. Realizing that he couldn’t do anything about it, Dimitri understood what Glance had to do and asked him if they could keep in touch about info on his sister or whoever was after him. Glance told him yes and then they both disbanded that night, leaving Dimitri a few steps away from the next chapter in his life where he would continue with his training; Academy X.
