"Kay? I did na' meet or see a Kay her son or otherwise," Luis said thoughtfully and shrugged as she finished off her soda and last bit of pizza. She watched Xai with a bit of amusement and shrugged a bit, "I doubt she's much of a follower or a mimic, she seems more the type to tell others what to do and when most of the time," the Satyress observed with a small shrug, "though she seems pretty content to share the spotlight wi' m'girl," she amended with a smile.
The man looked from girl to girl and frowned briefly, "Six hundred, buuut," he said thoughtfully. Seriously he'd pay for it if he had to these girls just seemed so sweet and energetic and reminded him of his daughter back home, and if they wanted this wand? Who was he to deny them at most it cost ten dollars just for a bunch of plastic, lights, and noise. He took it off the shelf and offered it to them. "Don't tell anyone," he winked at them.
Faris beamed happily as Evari accepted her gift and then accepted the gift from the glowing girl and gave a small happy keen and held it to herself. "Sank'a'yoo~," she said happily and would have been content with just that but then the man gave them the wand ANYWAYS and well her world just shone that much brighter. "YAY! No tellies, okay," she nodded firmly and let Evari grab the wand from the man since she wanted it most of all.

Xai made a little 'huh' sound. Maybe he wasn't there. "She does...she tries to order me around." And sometimes she succeeded just because Xai wanted her to be quiet already. She sighed. "She made a little boy on a bus cry once...but Faris appears to be happy." That made Xai smile, looking around until she spotted the two girls at the prize booth. They were getting along so well! This was good, Xai had been wary to let Evari play with anyone after she'd apparently traumatized that poor boy on the bus! What if it happened again?! The very thought worried her, not for Evari but for the children she could scar for life!
Yay! Faris like the mushroom and so did she! Evari was about to thank the man for the mushrooms when he offered them the wand...without the tickets?! The little glowing girl gasped and stared, her eyes wide and her jaw dropped. Really? She could have it? "EEEEEEEEEE!" Evari squealed happily, taking the wand and bouncing with it. She wouldn't tell! Oooh she was so happy! "Faaaaaaris~! Looklook! Issocoooool! Thankoo, mister!" Evari cheered, hugging the wand and the mushroom and then hugging Faris. They had to go show Luis and Xai!
Holding the mushroom in one hand, the wand in the other, Evari linked arms with Faris and waved byebye to the very nice ticket man. She then hurried back to the table with Faris in tow, smiling brightly up at the pair of guardians. "Looklooklook what we got!" She held up the mushroom and the wand, squealing with delight. Xai blinked and looked pleasantly surprised at this behavior. She wasn't normally like this! It was wonderful to see!
"That's very nice, Evari! And such cute toys you two have!"

"Oh dear," Luis replied with a laugh, "as long as ya draw the line when ya need to you'll be fine," she said with a small grin. She listened as Xai informed her that Evari had apparently made a small boy cry and tilted her head. Either Evari was a hellion or the boy was just easy to traumatize. Either way the Satyress chuckled a little, "Wee Faris is made o' sterner stuff I suppose." That seemed a fair enough assessment and so she let it at that.
Faris nodded at Evari as she gleed with her friend over the wand and she returned the hug while she giggled a bit. Before she left she waved at the nice ticket man and linked arms with Evari and hurried with her friend back over toward their Guardians with a large grin upon her young features. Hee! They got awesome things to keep forever and ever and ever. She nodded a bit at Xai's words, "Yus! 'coz we's a Team. We's Team Awesome! Das' why we gots 'em."
Luis grinned down at the girls, "Aye, keep that frame o' mind and nothin'll bring you two apart," she praised with a small laugh. Luis paused a moment before she went into the pocket of her vest and offered Xai a card, "Would be a shame t'make the girls friends and not give ya way to contact us if'n your lass wants t'play with Faris again."
The card held an address called 'The Blue Moose Tavern' along with a number to reach them at.

Draw the line...did that mean she had to start carrying a marker around? What kind of line did she need to draw? Did it need to be straight, or could be be curved. Dotted or solid? How would a line help her keep Evari in li--oh! Maybe that was that she meant! Draw a line and...keep Evari in it somehow. So she had to draw a circle on the floor? This was weird, Xai would just do some research on it. "I'm very glad that Faris isn't upset by her." Xai laughed. She smiled down at the two very excited girls then, watching as Evari gasped at Faris' words.
"Team Awesome? I like it!" She cheered, hugging Faris again. You could practically see the 'heartbubbles' floating from the glowing girl's head. She keened and let go of Faris then, still grinning. "Yay 'Ris~!" Evari looked up at Luis when she spoke, her eyes widening again and bouncing with excitement. Her gaze turned to Xai with a look of hope, wanting confirmation on this. Was it true? Was it true? Oh please let it be true! Laughing at the look she was given she nodded.
"She's right!" It made Xai very happy to see Evari like this, the girl was becoming increasingly difficult to deal with day after day, but now with Faris around hopefully the girl would grow more pleasant. One could dream, right? She blinked and turned back to Luis when she was handed a card, taking it and reading it. "Blue Moose?" How interesting! She smiled and put the card safely in her pocket, patting it and giving Luis a nod. Yes, it would be a very good idea to take her contact information! If Evari ever wanted to play with Faris but there was no way to get ahold of her? Oh, dear. There would be hell to pay!
Evari suddenly seemed to sense the change in atmosphere around the two guardians, gasping and clinging to Faris. "Nonono! I donwanna leave 'Riiiiiis!" She whimpered, her bottom lip quivering. Xai winced, expecting a bit more of a performance but not getting one. What? Really? ...Wow! That was amazing!
Xai sighed. "I'm afraid we'll have to soon. I'm sure Luis and Faris have somewhere they need to be, and by the time we get home it will be very close to your bedtime." Evari shook her head. Nooooo! She didn't want to leave Fariiiiiiis!

Faris beamed at Evari when she said she liked Team Awesome and hugged back and let go, "Yaaaaaay me~," she giggled and batted her wings a bit and stared up at their guardians and beamed happily at all the praise for their friendship. She glanced over at Evari also sensed the change and frowned a bit and found her friend clinging to her and whimpering and oh no...She held Evari up and swayed a bit thoughtfully before she placed her hands onto the glowing girl's shoulders after she managed to free them from the cling and simply said, "We play again real soon, we won't be aways forever," she promised solemnly. Besides! Faris needed to protect Evari sometimes and it was hard to protect someone if you never ever saw them again. She hugged Evari with a big smile, "No saddy-face! Smile!" Faris said cheerfully trying to be the strong one in this time of separation. If she had it her way they would stay here and play forever and ever!
Also there was the fact that she still had a food baby which was making her drowsy despite it being evening time and thus Faris' most active cycle.
Luis smiled down at the pair feeling a bit of pride that her daughter was handling this so well! It almost made her think of...
...She blocked the thought from her mind before it had a chance to settle in and get comfortable. Luis stood and gathered her things, "Don' ye worry none lass, ye'll see each other again. Your momma'll get in contact wi' me whenever ya wanna play with Faris again," Luis promised the saddened glowing girl.

Evari was sniffling as Faris held her shoulders, her lips pouted and the toys hugged tight against her chest. She perked up very quickly after Faris' assurance that they would play again soon. Soon? She liked soon! Soon meant not long! Soon meant awesome! Her grin returned and she returned the hug she was given, keening happily and swaying with her friend. No saddy-face! She would smile again! Evari gave Faris an affectionately tight squeeze and let her go, that grin still very obvious on her face.
Laughing softly, Xai got up from her seat and straightened out her clothes, turning to Luis with a smile. "Well, we should probably go now. Faris looks tired and Evari will need to go to bed soon. It was very nice to meet you, Luis!" Then she turned to the girls. "And you, too! Luis is right, Evari. I'm going to keep the card very safe so you can call whenever you want to play with Faris. Alright?" Evari nodded, looking from Faris to Xai and back again.
"Byebye, 'Riiiis~!" Evari chirped, hugging her one more time. After that she waved to Luis and followed Xai to the exit, glancing back at Faris a few times until they were out the door and on their way back home. Eeeeeee! She couldn't wait to see Faris agaaaaain!

Faris felt better now that Evari wasn't sad-faced anymore and now smiling she gave a squeeze back and caught her mushroom when they parted since she had placed it between them to hold it that way while they were having their very touching parting scene (for toddlers). She beamed happily at Xai and her mother and just nodded, "Bye 'Vari's Mama, bye 'Vari!" she said happily and turned toward her mother as she hugged her mushroom to her chest.
"Bye you two," Luis said warmly and watched them leave before she looked down at Faris and offered her hand which the small girl happily. Without a word said between them they began to move to the exit together.
