To Deceive the Eye!
Cherry hummed softly, feeling the tendrils brush against her hand. "They tickle." She spoke. "Is this what the Mizukage meant? These make you immortal? Heal any wound inflicted by a blade?" She spoke, feeling so many questions well up inside her at the sight and knowledge of what the tendrils could do.

Cory Lei Sannin | Leaf He pondered the idea for a bit, thinking about what these tendrils could actually do. He hadn't used these things for so long, other than opening doors and pouring his morning coffee. "Close, but not quite" he replied, smiling a bit while turning around and pointing to four animal masks fastened to his back. "I am 'immortal' because of my five hearts, four of which are stored in these masks. Thanks to these hearts, I capable of accessing every single basic chakra element. I can heal any wound, well at least so far... I could cut off your arm and re-attach it with my tendrils."

"Cut off... my own arm?" Cherry repeated, eyes becoming distant for a moment as she thought of the scenario. "They can work on other people?" Multiple hearts, access to chakra elements, healing wounds beside you own. Could this really be the way to immortilty? How can its existance not be known in books? Perhaps I looked in the wrong direction... Cherry's eyes returned to their normal sheen as she listened to Cory's answer.

Cory Lei Sannin | Leaf Now, thinking of a better way to explain this; then, it hit him. "Think of it as thread and cloth, where flesh is the cloth, and my tendrils are the thread." he started, hoping this was the way to explain it. "I would be really just sowing your arm back on"

To Deceive the Eye!
Cherry hummed in understanding. her hand still tingling from the feel of the tendrils on her hand even as it was resting at her side. "So it stays with its new host? Or waits until the wound has healed and... disperses?"

Cory Lei Sannin | Leaf Cory nodded at the latter. "It's not so much as dispersing as Dying..." he started. "The tendrils die and degrade once they leave my body"

"Surgical thread." Cherry spoke, remembering surgical slowly degraded within the human body so the wounds could completely heal in time. "So interesting. It has been a long time. " She said, mainly to herself. "Do you age at all? I'm asking so many questions," Cherry spoke, not breaking eye contact. "I'm being rude." She apologised.

Cory Lei Sannin | Leaf He smirked, "I do age, but my body doesn't. I am 172 years old, and was turned into a Knitted Doll at the age of 20. And don't worry about being rude, you just have to promise me to let me ask questions about you soon."

"172..." Cherry murmered to herself. "You're body is barely older than my own - though I admit in looking unlike my actual age. I have already asked many questions. But are you immune to poinsons? Surely your organs... or do you just switch hearts? Hmm... my other questions... they can wait. Please, ask about myself. I have been rude to have asked so many without considering your own.

Cory Lei Sannin | Leaf He sighed, thinking about any questions he would like to ask. But in all of his years of living, he never gotten over the fact that he sucked at thinking of questions. "... Whats your favorite food?" he asked, a bit uneasily, "Cause theres a few good food places around. Or so I've heard."

To Deceive the Eye!
Cherry's pink eyes blinked in surprise and her ever-present smile fualtered for the briefest of moment. "You're full of surprses." She said. "The first thing anyone ever asks me about is my eyes." Cherry paused, thinking. "Traditional sushi."

Cory Lei Sannin | Leaf Being a bit put-off by Cherry's remark about her eyes, and wanted to change the subject in a little while. "Well uuhh... Where do you like to eat? And by the way, your eyes are very nice-looking." he commented awkwardly, but a whole-hearted smile on his face.

"Nice-looking?" Cherry repeated, eyes blinking but this time her smile remained intact. "Been a while since I've heard that one." Cherry commented. "I don't go out often except to train and read." She paused. "I have seen a nice-looking place though... something sushi...?" Cherry tried to think. "Ah, Nikko's."

Cherry stared up at Cory, feeling the hand around her own, thinking briefly before nodding. "I would like that." She spoke honestly, smile stll the same but eyes taking on a happy shine. She gently returned the grip.
