Patrick was sitting idly on the fountian in that lovely gardens, draped in tight leather pants, matching boots and ...well, there was no shirt. Those n****e rings were highly visible. It was supposed to be winter and he wasn't quite sure why he was shirtless....
But he was.
"Ah well," Came the low drone of his voice, fingers rising up to touch that little cloud of a black and blue child ghost, clutching its wand above it. "It's still a pretty day out, isn't it, Yashima?" His voice was still a murmur, grinning at the little cloud hovering above him.
"You seem like a quiet spirit, Yashima. You're quiet like I wish Iamel would be."
D wandered through the gardens, getting accostomed to carrying a wand with fur and fang with him. He still didn't understand why this had something to do with him, but who was he to question Ianna?
She said he had to take care of this wand, then he would, no questions asked. Still, he couldn't help but worry about what would come of this. A few days ago he'd been handed a glass jar, told to put something in it, and help save a fae. Strangely enough, his little glowstick child (mixed with some Kool-Aid by accident) actually worked.
The little blue and red one, Cheylir, had stayed home with one of his coworkers watching the little guy. Today though, he'd gone out, and decided to bring the wand with him. There was something comforting about being with the . . . wand.
Would it really change into a being? Would it really grow up into a second chance for someone?
Who knew. Still, he was hardly read for Cheylir, so what was he going to do when (if) this thing changed?
Take care of it, surely, but was he really ready to be considered a father figure? He hardly was used to wearing a suit-and-tie everyday, much less being labeled "Daddy".
Making his way through the serent gardens, he hesitated as he rounded the bend, finding another being there. He'd met him - briefly - earlier. Hadn't he? Maybe. D couldn't remember, he'd been too rushed, shocked and overwhelmed by everything happening to really put down faces or names.
He almost turned away, in case the man wanted to be alone, but he took a double take when his gaze caught Yashima. Huh. So he was like him, a wand guardian (or whatever they were now labeled).
Approaching, he offered a friendly, small smile. "Don't mind me," he hastily explained, not wanting to inerrupt their moment. He'd keep walking, really, but his eyes lingered on the little wisp of the wand.
Patrick was...more then pleased to be pulled away from his musings on the wand, his newly moved-into-a-house status and...Mordread giving him jewelry. It was all so very new to him.
Somehow, it was all a lot more shocking and jolting then becoming a father of five within two months was. A little bird boy, a small horse girl, a wand, a meerkat and an anthroish science project bird girl. Sooo many things and they were all less jolting then moving and getting a house and a piece of jewelry.
Yes, he was glad to be jerked away from those thoughts, blinking up at that man and letting a small smile cross over those dark features. His piercings, ever so bright, glittered in the suns rays in ways that a human really shouldn't... Oh, the glory of abnormal body mutilation.
"No issue... It's nice to have company outside of Foxbaby here." His head nodded to the little hovering bit of black and blue, the ghostly tail flickering a few times. "We've met before? Once, right? With Ianna and them?"

Dear live journal wanna be.
I think I hate Iamel. And Akilah. And Akuti. And even little cute Lahela.
ONE freezes mice now to give to his ******** moody friend. ANOTHER eats my SHOES. One MORE colors on the walls of her brandnew bedroom WALLS. And the last one BITEs. MY. FINGERS.
I swear to god, journal, if this wand kid is half as psycho as the little ******** now are, someone is going to die.
It won't be me. It won't be Mordread.
But someone is gonna ******** DIE.
In...calmer news... We totally moved. The kids got there rooms (exclaimed happily at the bigger spaces) but...Akilah needs his ball to sleep. I go 'WTF?!' at this but apparently kids need a 'comfort object' (Yes, Mighty Giver..) sometimes.
...Akilah is emotionally dependant? Kick a**.
In other news: No change with the wand. I can't freaking wait for it to become a baby. The little thing keeps talking into my head...it's a nifty little shitter. I like it.
Mordread thinks I'm crazy. stare ******** him too. Ah well.
This is all for now, Journal. I'm tired. Time for sleep. Mm. Sleep.
-Patrick.

Ianna lay on one of the large hammocks hanging between two of the largest trees in the garden. It was -her- spot. Nobody, not even Matilda, dared go near that spot...unless they were sure that Ianna wouldn't know. That was, at least, her sanctuary.
When she was in that spot, her little family knew not to bother her. New people, however, probably wouldn't know that. Currently, on her face, were her dark-rimmed glasses, and her eyes were busily scanning the text of a small paper back. A romance novel, no less.
She was tired of reading that damned book of life and death.
Kinky.
Patrick was just meandering with his little wand - this is where they came to escape things such as life. Mordread was at home with Akuti, and Iamel was showing Akilah video games (He didn't want to KNOW how that would go) But...times like these were his vacations.
A short ******** vacation - an hour or two at most. "Right, foxboy?"
His thoughts, as usual, were disjointed and not altogether normal...Yashima didn't mean to mind. Patrick just shrugged, pausing when he saw Ianna. To say hi? Or to - s**t. Foxboy was floating over to her, and he had settled in the crevice of her open book.
Ianna blinked, wondering if her glasses had fogged since she could no longer see the words. Then she realized the color that was blocking the text was not the normal hazy white and took her glasses off, blinking yet again. "Baby ghostling?" she asked.
That would mean she had visitors. Lovely. Patrick was here. That usually meant the screaming little parrot-girl. On her vacation. "Coailiann's not he--" Silver eyes turned to look at Patrick, noticing he was parrot free and sighed. Good.
"Hello, Patrick. I see you left the brood at home today?" she offered a smile and carefully closed the book, away from the baby ghost.
"I need a vacation too!" His voice was a soft laugh on the wind, holding his hand out lightly. The ghost, used to such beconings, slide over, away from Ianna with a small tail-wriggle, and onto Patricks hand.
"Lahela is learning to walk and it's very scary. I try to stay away." A faint smile, fingers moving to 'pet' at the little baby ghost. It churred, quietly, in his head, stretching out and arching its little ghost self happily. "What about you? No kay?"
"I suppose we all do. I'm on one right now. Set Coailiann loose on Matilda, who is overjoyed, I'm sure. She adores that little girl and she never cries for her." The woman rolled her eyes and leaned comfortably in her hammock.
"I don't mind, I guess. It's nice to be alone without the screaming...Coailiann's slowly beginning to walk, too. I shudder to think how she will be once she's fully mobile." the woman narrowed her eyes. "And what kind of trouble will Lahela and Kay get into together?" A shudder. "Dear god, save us all."
"Two cute bundles of pain in the a** - one who can snap at your fingers and the other who can toss apples at your face." He paused, eyes widening themselves before narrowing into slits.
"Ianna...I fear the future." Patricks voice was a sigh, fingers still petting at the hovering bundle of black and blue energy, nose wrinkling a little, "Sad thing is this little guy seems saner then he rest of us."
"Oh dear god, Patrick. We'll need those baby leashes that I've seen people walking around with!" she laughed at that. She was kidding, but it would be nice to do that. For her, not for Kay.
Her eyes went to the baby ghost and she stood up, moving towards them and giving a soft caress of the smoke. "Hey there lil' guy. You know what an insane family you're going into?" she giggled.
"I think he likes the thought of our psycho household." Patrick joked quietly, watching how the woman interacted with the small wiff of smoke.
it wriggled, a little, puffing up just a bit more then normal. The small spikes of its 'ears' (at least...he thought they were. It WAS a fox, right?) flickered a few times. Its diminutive frame shifted from patrick to Ianna easily enough, crooning in patricks head and rubbing up against her as much as it could without falling apart.
"I figure he WILL be a guy, though..I get that feel from him anyway. I'm probably wrong."
Ianna chuckled softly. "Then it's a little insane itself, isn't it?" she smiled and stroked at the blue and black smoke, tenderly. Matilda's stage had lasted a day or two.
"If you feel it will be a boy, you are the only one who would really know. He is bonded to you, he is yours. IF you feel it in your heart, your heart is most likely correct." she looked to Patrick, silver eyes shining slightly. It was so easy to tell she was a mortal, she was no different from him.
And she risked her life every day to help her daughter. "So we should start calling him Yashima, no?"
"Well...I could be wrong." He laughed quietly, shoulders rising into a careless shrug, watching as the woman petted at the rather affectionate little floating ball of smoke. "It could be the blue smoke that's making me think that it's a boy - stereotypes ands hit, y'anno?"
One more shrug, smiling still at her, "I've already begun calling him Yashima, actually... He responds to it." He paused, lips pursing a little, nose wrinkling up. "I think he likes it, anyway? I can never be sure. The ghost...bit...just wriggles and winds around my fingers when I do. I like to assume that's a good thing, 'cause he does that a lot."
A wry smile. "You've grown attatched, Patrick." Ianna's head turned, letting her pale lips kiss the smoke, which had solidified just a bit more than it had previously. "And the child knows it. It will be here soon, Patrick. I feel them solidifying. If you haven't done so already, I'd secure a space for him."
She paused. "And get bottles. And diapers. And other things you need...Specifically for him. I only ask that you bring him in to see me when he's finally here, completely. Can you do that?"
"Mordread went nuts baby shopping - we have color coded bottles and binkies and s**t." He grinned a bit further in rememberance, "Akuti is green, Akilah is red and little Yashima is dark blue - he has his own little half of the room with the psycho little meerkat. Own bed and s**t too...That's where the wand sleeps at night."
He pauses, head shaking, "It used to stay in my room but...With Mordread... it felt kinda...weird to have a...wisp thing there when we...y'know." His cheeks went red and the little fox wisp trembled a bit - he could hear little gigglish noises. "..stop laughing, fox." Grumble.
"Made the non-existant babies?" she asked, raising a brow. "I'm sure that was a good idea, to move him. May give him ideas in the future I'm sure you won't want to deal with." a smirk touched her lips.
"And I wouldn't expect anything less of Mordread than that. Are you sure he's male?" She watched the interactions and couldn't help but shake her head. "Cute."
"Well, fox boy IS gonna grow up and IS gonna have sex...eventually... I think... Doesn't mean I have to help urge it along, y'know?" He grinned a bit more, moving slowly to lean on the tree near Ianna, huffing still at the trembling/laughing puff of smoke.
"Oh yes. Completely sure that mOrdread is male. Very male. Very. Very male. Trust me on that one."
She smirked at Patrick's insistance. "I meant on the inside, lovely. I'm sure he's very much so a male on the outside, but sounds like a girl to me." a soft little giggle.
Ianna was now in a rather childish mood.
His nose wrinkled slightly, head shaking a bit. "...I hope not. I don't LIKE girls - no offense, ianna. It'd mean I fell for a girl." Another shiver, nose wrinkling all the more and he glanced down at his watch, eyes widening. "And s**t. I ******** promised to take the kiddlets off his hands - I left him there with all of them except Yashima."
Ianna winced. "All four? Are you trying to kill the poor man?" she said nothing about his comment for women. She was a woman, but then again, she didn't much act like it. Half the time, anyway. "Go then, Patrick, and take your fluff ball with you."
Since the smoke was still snuggled with her. She smiled at it fondly.
"Oi, he said he wouldn't mind!" Patrick laughed and reached over, fingers making wriggling motions to the small puff of smoke. It chirruped and wriggled away from Ianna, twisting up his arm again with a little coo inside of his head.
"Thanks, Ianna! I'll bring him back when he solidifies - promise." A faint smile and he was off! Off to...be mischevious. And stuff.

"Is it working yet?" Patricks voice rung across the hall of the new house. The dark man was crouched by the fox boys crib, leaning slightly - Yashima himself was resting in the crib that was to be his soon. A baby moniter was cradled against his two knees, lips brushing just slightly against where the babys head would be.
Iamel, on the other hand, was in his fathers room, flopped back against the soft cushions. The second baby moniter was in his right hand (which was currently resting back against teh bed as well). Tri-colored hair was spread out on teh pillows and his dark red eyes rolled within his skull - his Shiniee was getting all bent out of shape for nothing! When Akilah had started screeching when he woke up, Patrick had insisted they go out for baby moniters for each of the bedrooms (save for Iamels, of course. He would've KILLED).
So..there they were. Trying it out. One could hear Akilahs screaming clear through the rest of the neighborhood, being the grating screech it was, and Lahela could be heard clearly through the moniter as the other night had proven.
The problem was Yashima. The child wasn't born - what if he was mute? COuld the slightest shifting of the covers be heard? A soft push against the crib spokes? Thus, the experimentation was borne.
If only Iamel gave a s**t.
The boy was just lying there, refusing to answer to his father. Patrick yelled out once more before jerking himself up off the bed, stomping his (bare) feet into his bedroom, thin hands on his hips.
"You! Lazy a**! ******** answer me!" His bark hardly moved the boy, Iamels eyebrows arching as he dragged his arm over. One cocky eyebrow rose towards his father as he spoke, voice a faint, scant breath against the speaker.
From his own baby moniter, Patrick could hear the soft rasp of the others voice against it - the childs breathing. His eyes narrow anyway, huffing a little bit as his fingers tightened on the baby moniter. "Stop being such a ******** spoilt brat, Iamel."
"I'm helping you with the kids, aren't I?!" The little gaurdian shot back, eyes flaring up as he pushed himself into a sitting position. "I'm not getting jealous and screaming and vaccuming the stupid thing of smoke, am I?!"
The vehlmance in the childs voice sent the other into a mild state of shock..it quickly faded into a sigh, his dark head shaking. "No. No, you aren't, Iamel. Sorry. I'm just trying to get everything ready for this thing, ok?"
"Is that why you got the softer crib bottom?" The child scowled slightly, pulling his knees up to his chest with a faint huff, "I mean - why does a baby need something soft?"
"MEMORY FOAM,"He corrected, huffing slightly as well, waving his hand as he flopped next to his son, grumbling a little bit. "It'll mold to his baby and keep him from smothering himself and not hurt his tail that I'm pretty sure he's gonna have... It's an important thing. You have your next, Akuti'll have...something a kin to a stable or something. Lahela and Akilah will get whatever they need and...we'll all be happy and situated. Sound good?"
Iamel eyed him but nodded slowly, begrudingly. Patrick grinned, hand reaching over to ruffle his hair. "Good! Now..c'mon. I'll show you some stuff I bought, ok?"
Another nod and the two gradually pushed themselves off the bed and padded their happy way to the bedroom down the hall. Iamel was making a joke, shoving his father when the taller man stopped still, partially inside the babies room.
Sitting within the crib was a disoriented little child. Wide golden eyes were staring up through dark, thick lashes, small lips parted in the beginings of a howl. Silver and gold hair was on that pale little head, his skin a stark contrast to the deep blue and black of his ears - and his tail!
Patrick had been right! A tail! And a BOY - very obviously a boy - with fox ears simaler to what he had imagined. The two - dark and light, winged and pierced - gawked at teh small child.
Yashima stared back. His face was uncomprehensive when he saw Iamel but once those golden eyes found Patrick, a wide (and rare, Patrick would find out later) smile curled over his face.
"Aggghay!" He squealed, one tightly clenched fist waving that wand around in the air.
Blimpblimpblimp! The ivory brushed against the wood like a musical instrument, causing the tip of his tail to twitch. "Aghaaaaaay!"
"..holy s**t, Shiniee. It's a baby."

nozomi_ga_kanau Iamel and Akuti were with Patrick today. They'd gotten into a fight - neither were speaking to the other and godDAMN, that was a welcome escape. Akuti sniffed condescendingly, moving right back to read some books in the back of the room while Iamel sulked outside of the shop - he'd come in when he was DAMN good and ready.
In came patrick, dressed in a loose pair of pants and an old, ratty shirt. jewelry was...shockingly gone. All the shiniees in his face were the only ones left - rings and bracelets were gone, as Akilah and Yashima liked to grab on and hold tight They'd be replaced later.
His sneakers squeaked lightly as he moved inside, the small boy cradled easily on his hip. Yashimas hair hung loose, hiding part of his face as those wide golden eyes peeked from behind the locks and that innocent face. Small, pale hands were clenched on that old shirt, dark tail curled around one of Patricks arms.
Yashima was wearing a red diaper and a small side-buttoned shirt in the style of an Asian manner. The frogs (the latchy things. <3) were black but the only other color on the shirt was the blue dragon sewn onto the back. His diaper was down low to let that tail free.
"Ianna! I bring a new member of the family." Ianna Umbridge Ianna lifted her head and peeked over the edge of the couch, her mouth turning upwards in a rather large smile. "You were right, a boy! Hello, Yashima!" she said.
Coailiann crawled from her mother, down onto the ground, and blinked. Where was the wispy ghost thing?
Baby ghost? she asked, a little confused. Her intelligent green eyes showed the confusion, tiny white curls (Which were starting to form!) fell over her forehead as she tilted her head.
Ianna watched her daughter move and she chuckled. Still couldn't stand or walk yet, which was a good thing. "And hello, Iamel. Akuti. There's gifts for you over by the main desk."
On the other side of the desk was a stuffed pink elephant for Akuti and for Iamel, a silver and gold bracelet with a bunch of multi-colored gem stones. nozomi_ga_kanau "Iamel is sulking," He explained, siiiighing softly as his son continued to lurk in the doorway. Yashima, startled by the greetings, merely blinked a little, curling a bit closer to his caretaker.
He wasn't SHY, mind you...simply...catious. When Coailliann spoke to him, he twisted around to peek at her, shoulders hunching up slightly. Two fingers, slightly chubby and adorable in that, spread into a slight v sign and wriggled at her in greeting.
The tail uncurled from his father, relaxing a little bit.
"He's not deaf, either," The dark man grumbled, free hand ruffling the boys hair. "Just amazingly quiet. He hasn't cried ONCE."
"EEE!" Akuti squealed, hugging onto the pink stuffed creature tightly. "THank you thank you!" Bouncing from the happy satyr girl, squeezing it close as she moved around to hug Ianna. Ianna Umbridge "Meh, you're lucky. Coailiann started OUT as a good baby...and...well...you can see where she is now!" she laughed softly, watching Coailiann crawl over to Patrick and sit directly on his shoes.
She had taken to doing that a lot lately, for some reason.
Coailiann smiled brightly at the baby and reached up for him. "You!" she squeeled in delight, bouncing on her little rear a bit before levitating a good six inches in the air. "GHOST!"
Ianna blinked. Man, Coailiann was learning a bit too quickly for her liking. Eyes moved over to Akuti and she umphed as the little Satyr ran into her, hugging at her. Ianna hugged her back, albeit a bit awkwardly from the way she was positioned. "You're welcome, Kuti." nozomi_ga_kanau "Eh.. Lahela's starting to walk and Akilah can ...kinda crawl by now. He can just sit up for now and that's bloody well good for MY happy a**, thanks." He grins faintly, shrugging and then peeking down at the sidhe.
Brown eyes go wide, watching her levitate, clutching his son closer to his chest. "Holy s**t. Is she supposed to be able to do that?"
Yashima, unruffled, watched as the girl rose up, little fingers pausing before tucking into his silent mouth. Ghost. He affirmed, mental voice small and quiet and very childish.
Akuti was beaming, tail lashing a little bit before darting off to play with her newfound little stuffed friend. eee! It was pink! Ianna Umbridge "As I said, we need leashes for when they can walk. Terrors, both of them, when they can walk." Ianna gave a little shudder and curled up on the couch, hugging one of her pillows to herself. "Matilda's been oddly silent lately, I wonder why there's no more wands unearthing themselves. Didn't think they had an off season." she paused in her musings. "Oh, the levitation? Yeah, I think that's one of her powers. She doesn't have wings yet, and she's a sidhe so..."
Coailiann looked to Patrick with a charming little smile and then tried, with all her might, to levitate to where the little baby Yashi was. She rose a good 2 inches before plummating down and landing on her diapered bottom, screaming bloody murder from the impact.
"OOOOOOOOWWWWWWIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIE"
Ianna giggled. "That's what you get, Coailiann." she murmured. It was only 8 inches, not that bad at all. Silly little sidhe. Always making something out of nothing. nozomi_ga_kanau "Shush, Kay.." Patrick grumped this out quietly leaning down with the boy still in his arms to gather her up as well. by this time he was on his knees, Coailianna nestled close to his chest, legs pressed up against Yashimas own.
The pale fox stared at the bawling sidhe, eyes even wider. His tail curled protectively around his legs, cheeks flexing as he suckled at his fingers. ...you aren't hurt, He demurred quietly, ears sliding back to lie flat against his skull, toes curling a bit as well.
"Kay, this is Yashima. Remember the wand? This is him." Ianna Umbridge Ianna smiled at the group. "Patrick, mind watching Coailiann? I could use a good soak in the tub...And I'm sure that she'd like to get to know the person Yashi."
Coailiann's wail settled into a soft whimper as she was picked up, her head resting easily on Patrick, green eyes looking to Yashi with a slighty smile. Her little hand reached out and stroked at his fluffy tail, carefully. She knew how sensitive they could be, or at least, she figured.
No, but it scared me. Wasn't expecting falling. You grew. nozomi_ga_kanau "Nah, not a problem, Ianna... Go relax. I can handle two munchkins." His voice was light and dismissive, letting the woman wander off at her will.
Yashima paused when those fingers touched his furr, letting out a very audible squeak when they started to pet. With a 'pop', his fingers left his mouth, he grabbed up his tail, hugging it close with a little whimper. The nerves in his tail were still new, he was learning how things felt...overstimulation.
hurt The fox whimpered, shoulders hunching, ears lying flat on his scalp still, tail floofing up. Ianna Umbridge Ianna flashed him a smile. "If you weren't gay, I'd kiss you." she skipped off, quite happily, to persue her bath in the luxary bathroom she had secured herself.
Coailiann looked to Yashima with a little expression of sorrow on her cute face. Her hand gently drew away and her thumb went into her mouth, her head resting once more on Patrick's shoulder.
I'm sorry. she whispered in his mind, making a mental kissy sound. I make it better with a kiss! nozomi_ga_kanau "If I weren't gay, I'd let you." He laughed quietly, eyes going back down to where the children were interacting, moving and such. Where Coailiann could talk and levitate and such...Yashima could...sit up. And gurgle.
The messanger fox hesitated slightly. A kiss? What was a kiss? Those two fingers slid right back into his mouth, hesitance on his mind, small lips drawn down into a contemplative frown. ...A kiss. Hmm.
Would she give him a kiss? Better not risk it.
No kiss, He whispered back, ears slowly leaving his skull to stand upright. The golden eyes narrow, squinting a little at the bright light as Iamel swung inside, whimpering and hugging his tail closer.
And...he didn't speak otherwise. While he could've asked things, talked about something...it simply wasn't in his nature to question how things were, to try and start a conversation without being prompted as well. Ianna Umbridge Coailiann looked a little confused. "Meh?" she asked, her word muffled around her little thumb. She didn't know what the big deal was. How could he not know what a kiss was? Then again, maybe she hadn't either? She couldn't remember. She just learned as she got older.
It not bad. she whispered in his mind again, her little feet swinging against Patrick's stomach lightly. She liked the darker man, and she liked this little boy thing.
But she missed Lahela. nozomi_ga_kanau No He pouted out stubbornly, letting his tail go to slide down and curl around...one of Coailianns feet. True, while there was no kiss, and he was hesitant to even SPEAK (mentally, that is) to the girl..he didn't mind giving her a fluffy foot cover. It was quite comforting actually.
You're a girl-thing. At least he was offering to start a conversation! And she was, indeed, a girlthing. She smelled with the same musk Lahela and Akuti did - something not quite grown but very different from the others in his family. Ianna Umbridge So? You be a boything! she retaliated, though giving him a gorgeous little smile when her feet got warmed by his tail, her toes giving a little comfortable wiggle to show she appriciated it. It was MUCH more comfortable than the restrictive shoes her mother tried to put her in.
Her mouth suckled on her thumb still, happily. The boy was as stubborn as she was - which could be a good or bad thing. Is there a problem with my being a girl? nozomi_ga_kanau Yashima paused at her question, the meat of his tail flicking once, twice as he tried to contemplate it. "...agah?" He huffed out, severing the mental link between them momentarily. He had no telekenetic or mind over matter power or anything - but he was a spirit of the wands, just as she was and he had some sort of control over what went on in his head.
WHile they were young, anyway. He gummed at his teeth contemplatively, shifting to rest against her. The fox didn't LIKE girls..and she was a girl thing. But his father liked her (Patrick was cooing over how cute they were) so he simply moved his little body to cuddle against hers.
...cold fox He muttered quietly, eyes sliding shut for a moment. Ianna Umbridge Coailiann took a long look at him, not liking that she had been kicked out of his mind. Not liking it at all. But! BUT! She didn't mind the cuddling, so she cuddled back, her fingers happily stuck in her mouth.
She wasn't too fond of boys either, not that she knew why or anything. She just...didn't. Just like she didn't like the rat meerkat thingy ma bob. Kay didn't like that very much either...that confused her. But, anyway, she was just a little baby and was rather comfy right now, so she'd dismiss it.
Coailiann did, however, notice the cooing.
She attempted the connection again. Is dark man always like this? nozomi_ga_kanau He paused again, not too sure if he liked her reconnecting them but...brushed it off. It took the child a moment to process the question, nose crinkling up slightly. To smallthings like us... To the big one he yells a lot.
The fox shifted so he was still cuddled against the girl but he was also snug against his father. Eyes slide closed, in a peacefull little net of comfort, warmth and dual heart beats. There're more smallthings.. Ianna Umbridge Coailiann nibbled on her fingers lightly, giggling ever so softly.
Lahela n the rat, right? the little girl shuddered gently against the softness of the boy at the thought of the chittering and churring mammal that had almost attacked her.
Well, not really, but it had seemed as if it would. Big ones are weird.
She was rather comfortable in the position she was at as well, and she showed that by her little head moving to rest against Yashima's, as well as his father's chest. nozomi_ga_kanau I don't know the names. His voice was now offhanded, sucking harder on his fingers as she continued to speak. He could feel himself drifting off...he was tired.
He was new. And so very, very tired... He stretched out with a quiet whimper, a mild yawn, and then collapsed against the both of them with a purr, eyes remaining closed. Sleep was enveloping him. Ianna Umbridge Don't know rat things names. It seemed that his sleepiness was rubbing off on her as well, and she closed her eyes, suckling on her fingers in a more gentle fashion. You make me sleepy, boy thing she murmured in his mind, snuggling with him and Patrick.

Dear Live journal wanna be,
Okay... so the wand popped into a ********. It was about time - it was a boy, just like I though. He's a real cutie too. Big gold eyes and this silver/gold hair - there's some blue in there, though.
Dark tail and fox ears... Like I said, he's a cutie. A bit of a conundrum but a cutie none the less. A QUIET cutie too! I'm ******** THRILLED. He doesn't cry or scream or flail about. He's usually uber quiet and when he's hungry, he just starts chewing htings more.
His name is Yashima. He hates Akilah and adores Mordread - I think he likes his tail and such. Something like that. I KNOW he likes scribbling on stuff. He can't crawl or anything yet but he has amazing control over his hands.
He can't DRAW or anything but...
Eh.
Anyway, with the moving and everything, Yashima has his own little half-room. It's quieted things a lot, not having them all shoved together. Lahela has gotten easier to put to sleep and Iamel is in much better spirits.
Thank god. Just.. Thank god.
It means more sex and cuddles for me. BOOYAH.

nozomi_ga_kanau "Yes, you silly fox, we're going back to the wand store." Patricks voice was light and soothing, as if he was trying to calm a screaming child. He was trying to calm a baby, but the boy was as quiet as death.
The only sign of agitation from Yashima at all as his slightly more poofy tail that he had clutched between his hands. The silver and gold haired child had the tail in one hand and his other hand was occupied with his mouth - he was sucking on two fingers once more. Wide golden eyes peeked about, nose pressing into his fathers shoulder.
Patrick sighed, head shaking as he pushed the door open, bumping lightly with his hip. "Ianna? Matilda?" There was silence. His nose crinkled with the lack of response, "Anyone?" Eversnow REmix Stray turned from where she was examining one of the dusty old things hung on the wall, eyes widening upon spotting someone else. "Ianna... and Matilda aren't... here right now." she said haltingly, "At least, I don't believe so." Her voice kept a slight monotone feel to it as she observed Patrick and Yashima. Hesitantly, she refolded her voluminous wings and offered a mockery of a curtsey to Patrick.
"I'm Stray." she said, by way of an introduction. "May I... ask your name?" nozomi_ga_kanau Wings? Kick a**. His eyes immediately went to the wings, analyzing them in his head. Where were they attatched? Shoulder muscles? It'd have to be something with how she could apparently control them and - could she fly? Technically, nothing over a gooses weight should be able to fly but here on Gaia.. Oh, how physics was ******** you fly? Where are they attatched?" His voice was curious, ignoring her question momentarily as he moved closer to the woman. His brightly pierced face glittered a bit, Yashima peeking at Stray with one curious eye, the other hidden by hair and by hisfathers shirt. "How do you move them?"
Patrick has just given in to his inner dork. Eversnow REmix "Ah-" Stray stuttered for a moment, automatically raising her arms and shifting her wings to cover some of her body mass. "Uhm... yes... I can fly... and... they're attached..." Stray blinked, then looked around for a mirror, then simply craned her neck to look. "...to my shoulderblades." she finished. "I... think... and... like you would move your arms. Without really thinking, I guess." Thinking maybe she had satisfied the suddenly scary man, she lowered her arms and returned her wings to normal, folded back positions, though she watched Patrick with wary eyes.
"Uhm, you haven't... introduced yourself. I have been told it is.... polite, to do so." Stray repeated her earlier question then, repeating the request for Patrick's name. nozomi_ga_kanau Patrick was plenty scary enough, stereotypically. A black man with piercings, tattoos and a small white boy in his hands? Totally creepy. At least she didn't seemed free by the 30+ piercings all over his face.
He grinned at her stuttering, shifting to peer back at her wings, head tilting to the side. "Maybe your shoulder muscles are doubled, or split to - can you lift heavy weights with your arms? If it's--" He paused once more, blinking at her question. "Oh! Oh, s**t. Yeah. Hi. I'm Patrick White and this is Yashima."
The fox boy twisted to look full-on at the woman. Small eyebrows furrowed...and then he blew a raspberry, before returning to his fingers. Eversnow REmix Stray smiled at Yashima, then again attempted to curtsy to Patrick, though this time she spread her wings slightly to give her more balance. "I am of Cruxis." she said after a moment, thinking of his question about her musculature. "We have... always... been strong." But you weren't always... a tiny voice in the back of her mind whispered, pushing the half-elf Stray to the front.
"Is Yashima a Ghost... of the Past? Like Coailiann?" she asked then, calling to mind a little Sidhe baby she'd met. nozomi_ga_kanau Yashima didn't return the smile - Patrick did for him. He was a quiet child and his facial features didn't often contort themselves to things such as 'smiling'. At the mention of Coailiann, though, his ears perked up a little bit, the small black and blue foofs flicking slightly. "Gaba?"
"Yes, baby, Coailiann," Patrick soothed his son, eyes still on the wings. How. Inter.Esting. LIke. Whoa. "Yes.. he's a kitsune, a fox demon. And...what's a Cruxis?" Eversnow REmix "I... um, well, it's..." Stray stuttered again, fingering the Key Crest around her neck. "It's an organization of angels." she said finally. "I... fell, I think. I was flying to Sylvarant... and then, poof." was the added utterance, followed by a few expletives said extremely quietly under her breath. She hadn't known them upon falling; she had learnt from Maia, her landlady.
Sometimes she still felt like she'd only just fallen, and found herself wishing for the mental guidance given to her by Lord Yggdrasil. But he'd been silenced when she had hit ground on the Isle de Gambino, leaving her dazed. "Why are you darker than all the others?" she asked after a moment. "The others are a light shade of gray." All the angels looked the same, to themselves. Outsiders saw their differences for them. nozomi_ga_kanau Some people would be put off by that...weird question. stare But not Patrick! Patrick was adaptable and, hey, she said she was an angel. Angels weren't racist!
...well, not according to some Christians, but hey! He just grinned, nose wrinkling, "Well, see, people have this thing in their skin called melenin. It makes their skin change colors according to what their parents looked like. People like me have extra melanin - paler people, like Yashima here, have less melanin."Eversnow REmix [ Stray is sorry if she offends. She's colorblind, and used to seeing alot of identical people. ] "Oh." Stray examined her hands with interest, noting that she was lighter than Patrick. Her skin was olive-gold to those who can see color, but to Stray, it was exactly in-between the dark skin of the man in front of her and the light skin of Coailiann and Ianna. "It must be very useful... to be darker gray than everyone else.." she said after a moment. "How... did you know that?" Blink.
"Are you a healer?" nozomi_ga_kanau ((I'm Irish as Irish can be. XD PAtrick just..isn't. He's been harassed for his color before, despite being half-caucasian. Don't worry. ^_^)) "Dark grey?" His eyebrows arched slightly at that, head tilting to the side, nose wirnkling. "I'm a dark brown, sweetie pie. The only thing grey about me is a workout shirt."
He grinned a little, ruffling his sons hair gently. "..wait? A healer? me? No, hun. I'm a scientist."Eversnow REmix "No." Stray said, firm conviction in her slight monotone voice. "You're gray. I'm gray." She paused to point at Yashima. "He's gray. Everyone is gray." The Cruxis girl hadn't stuttered in this short proclamation. "What's brown, anyway?" she queried, crossing her arms and folding her wings closer.
"...But you know about... mel-a-nin..." she said, narrowing her eyes at him. "Only healers, and... researchers know about that kind of... stuff." nozomi_ga_kanau "...oooh, you're color-blind.." His voice was soft and a little breathy at this. Were ALL of her people colorblind? What an amazing ******** thing! To have a WHOLE race of humanoid type things be colorblind?! It'd be like the Giver! But cooler!
"Consider me a researcher then." He grins a little bit, head shaking a little with a faint laugh. "I like studying. Do you not?" Eversnow REmix Stray seemed to sigh. Patrick asked so many weird questions and said so many odd things. "I can't read... this language." she said bluntly, shrugging. "...Angelic texts. Elven texts. Not... human texts. I know some who... learn to read the human's... common tounge. She helps if I need... to find something out." While saying this, she spent a moment contemplating this 'color-blind'. You should tell him about the Cruxis Crystal. Maybe he knows something about the way to fix it so you're normal again. insisted the tiny voice, though it was unheard by Stray's occupied mind.
"Yashima... is a fox, is he not?" nozomi_ga_kanau "Elven? Angelic?" His eyes widened a little bit - she could read Angelic texts? There WERE Angelic texts? That was... oh, the ******** possibILITIES. His head shook slightly when she asked that last question, nose wrinkling.
"Yashima was a fox. He used to be a fox demon but now..he's just a cute kid with fox ears and a tail. I dunno what he'll be later." Eversnow REmix "Demons are unclean." she informed Patrick bluntly, crossing her arms. "Has not Lord Yggdrasil... said that those who... summon the power of the Netherworld are... to be treated as their... creations and thrown... away from the light of the Coming Age... of Half-Elves?" She paused, observing that Yashima was indeed 'cute'. How could she bear a grudge against something that innocent-looking?
"He is not... unclean still?" Stray wondered aloud. "I was taught... the taint of a demon can never... be erased." nozomi_ga_kanau "Yashima is NOT unclean." His voice actually raised a little bit at that, his free hand tightening into a...fist? Patrick didn't get angry often and he got violent even fewer times in his life but the woman calling his child unclean... it set off a trigger to him. "He's just a BABY. Babies are NOT unclean and even when he's older, he'll be... He is NOT unclean!"
Patricks voice was still heated but Yashima remained unwavered. Curious golden eyes still stared at Stray, the tip of his tail twitching gently in his hand and he continued to suck at his fingers. Poor Patrick. Eversnow REmix "Demons are... the spawn of the inferior... races," Stray said slowly, as if Patrick were a child that was not quite bright while staring back at Yashima. "They are evil, and... unclean. Maybe your Yashima.... no longer bears a demonic taint... but one must never forget the scourge that.... the inferior races brought upon... the half-elves." With a rare upsurge of racial pride, she felt like yelling for the world to hear, Hail Lord Yggdrasil! Glory to the coming Age of Half-Elves!
She didn't. nozomi_ga_kanau Yashima continued to gum on his fingers while the dark man inwardly fumed, his face quiet warm with anger. He couldn't hit a woman - his mother instilled some sort of gentlemanlyness into him,a fter all - but...goddamn if he didn't want to.
So he chose his words wisely. "People only call things 'evil' when they don't understand motives or the other peoples world. But I would be very. VERY careful at what you say about my son." Eversnow REmix "People hate what they... do not understand." Stray breathed. "I was... a half-elf before I... was an angel and... a member of Cruxis... My inferior father passed... laws... making half-elf hunting... legal, because he was aging... and I was staying young..." she explained, hesitatingly. "I understand their motives. I still believe... that those who are as... my father was... they are evil." The angel shook her head slowly after a minute.
"I know... not all humans are as... my Father was. But... most of them seem to be." nozomi_ga_kanau "Your father was weak and pitiful." That he could dismiss, shrugging slightly as his fingers unclenched slowly before stroking through Yashimas hair. "And probably not a very nice man. I'm human and I see issues with hunting...anything. Vegetarian, thanks."
"Veegah." Yashima agreed quietly, seriously, nodding his little head.Eversnow REmix "Most humans are the same way." Stray said unfalteringly.
"...I have to go home now. My landlady sets... a strict curfew. But... I should like to be friends. And learn more about what humans are like... so I will no longer... call them demons." she said, looking a tad uncertain. "Forgive me for angering you." [ I have to go to bed, so I'll talk to you all in the morning. ]

((I am not counting this towards his needed rps/journal enteries but it's going to be important in his life so...yeah. It's going here.))
It was...a few days later and the poor cat boy was rather sore. So sore, in fact, the moment he woke up from their sex-induced stupor...He decided he needed a hot bath. A long one. His head turned to look at his love, a small smile on his face. Mordread didn't exactly know what had gotten into the darker man, but he wasn't complaining. Maybe his body was - but he was not. Placing a soft kiss on his forehead, the furry man slid out of the bed and walked, albeit slowly, to the bathroom. Mmm. Hot water.
Patrick made a quiet noise, eyes fluttering with a soft pursed lips. His nose wrinkles when he felt the weight leave teh bed and the cold set in. "Mordread?" The dark mans voice was rasping, eyes fluttering slightly... He was SORE, damnit.
The man stopped in his tracks and turned around, already half way there. His head peeked into the room with a warm smile, "You rang, love?" he asked, wincing at bending so far forward. They probably wouldn't be able to walk very well for a long time. Nor would they have another romp in the bed for a while - for once, Mordread was sexed out.
The multicolored eyes squinted, nose wrinkling before twisting to face him, blinking tiredly. "....I hurt." His voice was still rasping, sore from all the screaming and moaning he'd been doing, slowly pushing himself up.
"Me too, love...Wanna share a warm bath?" His green eyes showed merriment as he leaned against the door frame for support. He wanted that warm water to relax his body enough so it didn't feel as if he was as stiff as a steel pole - and not in the good way.
"Mmhmm.." His eyebrows knitted together as the dark man pushed himself up and out of the bed, letting out a quiet noise. "Ow..ow ow ********.." He pursed his lips, head shaking slightly. "What the hell was.."
"I don't know. It was fun while it lasted, love, but we're going to be regretting it for at least a week. Or two," his hand reached out to offer itself to his lover, ready to have them help eachother to the bathroom. It vaguely crossed his mind that his lover was probably in more pain than he was. After all - he had been the bottom that time.
Or for the rest of their lives. Patrick reached for the others hand, pulling himself up with a soft hiss, shuddering. "s**t.. That HURTS.." His eyes closed for a moment, leaning a little into the others frame, hand moving around Mordreads body.
"I know, love. You were like a man possessed, though. Man..." he laughed softly and started to hobble towards the bathroom with the other man, carefully taking the taller man's weight onto him. Even his tail hurt - which wasn't surprising. It had probably been pulled several times during their frenzy, "The bath should help, though."
"I don't know what came over me.." He frowned a little, leaning and nuzzling into the other. Since MOrdread was holding onto him, his hand reached for the nozzle, twisting the warm water on. "Nnn... I feel like I've been pile drived by a whole football team.."
"Three days of sex will do that to you, Patrick," he said softly, helping him to sit at the side of the tub with him, "I've only seen and smelt that a few times, and I've never in humans. Patrick, you smelled as if you were in heat. I don't know why, but that's what made me go so wild. I'm part cat, after all..."
"I went into what?" Patrick blinked at that, stretching slightly as his fingers dipped down, touching the slowly filling tub. "I'm a human. I don't go into heat." Reclusive Dreams (12:48:59 AM): "I know what I smelled. I don't know why or how, but I do know what I smelled. My body wouldn't have been able to go on so much if I hadn't," he shook his head a little bit, "Maybe you should ask your mother when she drops the kids off."
"Oh..." His face heated up slightly, head dipping with a faint nose, nose crinkling up with a faint sigh. "Maybe I should...but they always said that we were human.. Only human."
"Well, love, a body goes into heat for one reason - it wants children. If it WAS heat you went into, I don't know," he smiled weakly, "It wouldn't hurt to discuss it with her. I know you're a male and male's don't get pregnant. They just don't...Unless you're a seahorse. Which I don't think have heats," he furrowed his eyebrows in thought.
"I'm NOT a seahorse. I hate the water." he grumbled slightly, nose crinkling up. "And I can't get pregnant. I'm a boy." Patrick frowned and, when the water was warm enough, slid back down against the water, submerging himself and patting his lap for Mordread.
Mordread happily obliged, giving a little moan as he felt the water envelop him, "Mmm...So good," he murmured, closing his eyes, "And I know you're a boy. I'm very aware of that...Your mom's coming with the kids sometime today, right? Just may as well ask."
"Probably.." He grumbled, pressing a soft, pierced kiss to Mordreads shoulder. Dark arms wrapped around his diminutive lover, chin resting on his skin slightly. "I'll ask her.."
Mordy smiled and turned his head to look at him, "I love you," he murmured, nuzzling back against him as he let the hot water soak his tired, sore body. It was so nice to have the warm embrace of both water and his lover.
"Love you too." He smiled quietly, nuzzling once more against the other. But...there was a niggling in the back of his head. Female cats went into a simaler heat when they were ready to have kittens..no male of ANY species he knew gave off the '******** me NOW' type waves unless they were hermaphrodite frogs or something... He was worried...
It was a good hour soaking before he heard a knock at the door, "Someone's at the door..." his body was still sore - but it was about 10 times better than it had been before. The water, thankfully, actually helped him. For being a cat and not liking water very much...He was starting to love it for what it did.
"I'll do it.." A soft grumble, kissing at his neck and moving Mordread to the side of the bathtub. "Coming!" Calling out, standing with a grab at the towel, wrapping it around his waist. A brief tightening before moving to to the front door. "Coming, com--Hey, mom." "Oh my god! You're bruised all over!"
Mordread soon followed, wrapped in a towel as well - though it fit him like a dress. It looked rather amusing, actually, "Hello, Mrs. White," came his voice as he moved slowly to the couch and managed to sit down. The cat boy could barely stand, still. He was still rather tired, but he wouldn't let that show. He just needed to sit down.
Too bad for Mordread. Akuti barreled in, tackling the catboy with a happy squeal. She was wearing a red hair ribbon and looked so very excited. "Daddy M! We had yummy food and I gots a ribbon!"
Deliah was holding a sleeping Yashima, Akilah and Lahela - yes. All of them were asleep. She was beaming and looking EXCEEDINGLY proud of herself. "Hello! Mordread, what did you DO to my baby?"
Mordread winced as the satyr girl tackled him, but fell back on the couch and wrapped his little girl up in his arms, "Oh that's wonderful, sweet heart! Your ribbon looks so very beautiful on you my little Aphrodite," he chuckled softly and nuzzled into her hair, looking over to his lover's mother.
"A little of this...A little of that....A LOT of something else. Nothing that you'd want to hear details on."
She beamed up at him, cuddlig close against Mordread, arms wrapping around him happily. "I like the color red! Like Daddys eyes." She nodded, humming and cuddling still. Deliah simply arched her eyebrows, moving towards the bedroom and dropping the children off. "Iamel is with one of the other...winged things right now. He called him a pirate?" She shrugged, nose wrinkling. "And the kingfisher...flew off. God knows where he is."
"DAX IS MISSING?!!!!!?!" Mordread screamed, sitting up rather quickly, though careful of Akuti in his arms, "YOU LET MY SON GO OFF?! WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING?!" Okay. So Mordread was overreacting - but the child was his first. And currently, only that could move and wasn't made out of goo.
Her eyebrow arches slightly. "We were by the park." Her voice was dry at that, looking at the kitty boy with amusement, "He said something about the koi fish and flew off, according to Iamel, before we dropped Iamel off. I wouldn't call it missing so much as enjoying a nice lunch outside of the prying eyes of humans."
"He probably doesn't even know the way HOME!" he was breathing heavily now, stroking at the satyr girl's hair gently to calm himself down. Mordread was...very over protective when it came to the children, it seemed.
"Iamel does," Patrick supplied, sitting down near Mordread, stroking his kittens ear soothingly. "He knew when he was a woodpecker too, love. Calm down." Akuti was scared, obviously. o.o Clinging to Mordread
The cat boy calmed down, both for Akuti's sake and the fact his lover was now stroking at his ears, "Mmph. But.. It's...Dax..."
"And he's psycho. Psychos manage to remember weird things." He grinned, laughing and pressing a kiss against his lovers temple. "Mother wouldn't let a defenseless birdie fly off." "He ate all the fish in my aquarium."
"He's a King fisher. Fishers do that. Buy new fish," Mordread didn't think fish could cost too too much. He'd been to the pet store and seen tiny little fishies going for 10 cents a piece. Couldn't be too bad, right? Right. Besides, even fish to eat didn't cost him more than a few dollars a pound.
"It's not EASY to find some of those fish! One of them cost me one hundred k in the market place," She sniffed, shoulders rising into a shrug. "I got him lobster ut.."
Mordread blinked, "One hundred thousand? Are you freaking NUTS? Spending THAT much on a FISH? Something that you eat for dinner?!" he blinked again, looking incredibly...appalled that someone would waste money on something that swam and shat all day.
"Well, we don't EAT them. They live in a tank." She stared at Mordread in return, looking completly unruffled. Patrick broke in, clearing his throat. "Mom. I have a question for you. Ae we fully human?" She blanched at that, face flushing slighty. "Why do you ask?"
Mordread blinked, "Then what are they good fo--" he was cut off by his lover and gave him 'the eye'. It entertained him that someone would throw away money on a slimy piece of meat - and he wanted to know why. Then again, he was a cat. Cats had a natural appetite for fish.
Patrick ignored him. >_>Eyes on his mother. "BECAUSE, Mother, I'd like to know. My eyes aren't really a genetic defect, are they? Mother?" She blushed again, running her hand over her hair. "Well...dear.."
Mordread remained quiet, cradling his little girl in his arms and giving her a little tickle. One ear remained tuned into the conversation his lover was having with his mother.
Akuti squealed and laughed, wriggling and batting at his hand with a little grin. "Dadddeee!" "We had a great grandfather who wasn't...exactly human.." "Was he a seahorse?"
"What? No! He was a Lashran." Reclusive Dreams (1:45:48 AM): Mordread giggled and kissed Akuti's head - then paused when he heard the words from Deliah, "Lashran? What's that?" he blinked and snuggled with the little girl, playing with her hair.
"Lashran is an all male-species.." She hesitated, chewing at her lower lip and fluffing her blonde curls slightly. "Well, until they inter-mix with humans. I was the first female with ovaries! You were my only child because...well.." Deliah flushed. "They weren't fully functional, really... We had to do an artificial insemination.." "Well...how did the Lashran have children if they were all--..oh, ********/> Mordread seemed a little slow at the moment, "I'm confused...." Okay, so it could be blamed on half paying attention and being dead tired. His face was completely blank as he looked over to Patrick.
"They reproduced with each other, didn't they, Ma? They slept with each other and MALES had children!" "Only lifebearers!" She defended, hands waving in her defense. "Lifebearers are RARE, sweetie!"
"Do...they go into heat, Mrs White?" he asked quietly, looking a little worried at his lover as it suddenly hit him. Was Patrick...? Dear god....
"They...oh, dear, Patrick.." Her voice was small, hand rising to her mouth. "Well..they're SUPPOSED to...around patricks age... You're only nineteen, dear, we thought since you were mostly human.. Oh, but your pupils were so large and you looked like your father in coloring that we thought.."
Mordread reached over and took Patrick's hand, "We should make an appointment, love," his green eyes looked over to Deliah and took a deep breath, "Well, you may be a biological grandmother after all, Mrs. White....Wait, 19?" he raised a brow and looked over to Patrick.
Patrick paused at that, glancing over at his lover sheepishly. "I tell everyone I'm twenty five... I graduated college at seventeen or eighteen." Voice quiet, fingers squezing his hand. "But mom said she couldn't handle a baby - artificial stuff! I could be the same." "...but, dearheart... You're a lifebearer."
"Mm. I feel old now," Mordread laughed softly, not quite caring that he had lied about his age. Hell, he didn't even know how old he really was, even though he thought he was in his later twenties...A pause as he looked to his lover, speaking to his mother, "What happens when Lifebearers go into heat?"
"It's a 'Cycle' really..." She fusses slightly, chewing at her lower lip. "And only happens a few times in their life... They get..Well.. Im assuming you know, from the looks of you two!"
"Yeah. We know. What is the probability of him being pregnant?" Mordread squeezed his love's hand again, taking a deep breath. It wasn't fair that they hadn't known this - and it was a lot to swollow. But it wasn't as if Mordread wouldn't be happy about the prospect of being a parent. It was to be expected that he'd be happy, considering how maternal he was.
"Well..uhm... Akuti, dear, go get yourself some food?" She distracted the girl and Akuti nodded, tromping off to the kitchen. "...it depends. Did you use Patricks.." She coughed, "For..luberication?" Patrick paled. "....yeah. A little. Or a lot." "...then you're probably pregnant."
Mordread took a deep breath, "Well then...Definitely need to make an appointment..." came Mordread's soft voice. He was almost always level-headed and calm. Thankfully.
Patrick wasn't so level headed. He stared from his mother...to his lover...and then - thump. Out cold on the couch. Deliah squeaked, moving towards her son
"You should have told him, you know," he muttered, moving to stroke at his forehead and pat at his cheeks, "Wake up, darling, wake up...."
"I didn't think he'd grow up to be gay!" She protested, sitting near the other, waving at her son. "Or a bottom, for that matter!" Patrick moaned slightly, wriggling a little.
"When you found out he was gay, you should have told him. And he usually DOESN'T bottom, thank you very much. Apparently, the heat makes you want to." he grumbled and leaned down, kissing at his lips, "Wake up, Patrick."
"We didn't know it happened at nineteen!" And he wakes up slowly, eyes fluttering with pursed lips. "......what just happened?"
"It doesn't matter WHEN it happens, YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD HIM!" Mordread was getting a little frustrated with the blonde. It didn't help that he already didn't have a large fondness for women due to his past, but damn. His green eyes went back to Patrick, "Your mother just told you that you're not quite human and you may be pregnant. And if you pass out on me again, So help me..." he looked worried.
Patrick made a soft noise, eyes going to his mother once more. "I...mom?" Deliah ignored Mordread, dipping down to cup her sons face, looking worried. "Are you alright, darling? I'm so sorry... I just didn't think it'd ever happen."
He didn't so much like being ignored - but then again, he had been all his life. With a little hmph the cat boy stood up and walked into the kitchen to check on Akuti and help her if she needed.
Patrick made another noise at Mordread stomping off, grabbing for him but...missing miserably. Deliah frowns, helping him sit up and stroking his hair back. "Mordread.." Pouting a little bit.
Mordread came up to Akuti, "Hey, Angel, you find everything okay, or do you need some help?" he'd go back into the living room after giving his love some time with his mother. Who he already was starting to dislike. For, what he thought, was a good reason.
Deliah was just a little bit on the airheaded side. XD She was fluffing patricks hair and trying to get him to cheerup. The boy finally shook his head, taking her hands in his. "Mom.. I'm really tired. Please, can you..." "Of course, darling." Kissing his forehead. "Call me!" And she flounced out. Akuti just beamed up at him, mouth full of tomato.
Mordread smiled a little bit, ruffled her hair, and walked back into the living room to check on his lover once his mother left, "Everything okay with you, darling?" he asked, moving to sit beside him. He knew that Patrick had a problem with freak outs when the unexpected happened.
Patrick sighed, fiddling with the towel on his lap, frowning up at the others expression. "...didn't mean to pass out." His voice was a soft murmur, hand twisting in the couch cushion.
"I know, you had a little bit of a shock. Are you okay?" he stroked at his cheek gently, looking into his eyes. While Mordread wasn't exactly...sure how he felt about everything, he'd push his own feelings aside, at the moment.
"...how the ******** am I going to give BIRTH?" His voice was still soft, leaning into the touches, eyes closing. "I mean.."
"C-section?" he asked, pulling him into his arms to hold tightly, "I was reading some of the medical books at the library. Rather interest......Nevermind, not the time to discuss books," he smiled sheepishly and rested his head against the darker man's head, "We don't even know for sure if you are."
Patrick clung back, face pressing into his neck. "Well...maybe..if mum had to do an artificial thing...something messed up. Maybe I'm not pregnant. Maybe?"
"Maybe. But what if you are? How do you feel about that? I mean...you wouldn't...You know...." he looked a little worried at the thought of his lover not wanting a child of theirs, no matter the circumstances.
"Wouldn't what? Abort? No!" He shook his head, hugging him tightly close. "I'd... I'd deal with it, i guess? I mean.. adopting a kid is one thing but..the pregnancy doohicky.."
"I know, a scary thought..." he paused as he stroked at him, relief flooding through him as Patrick seemed so adament about not aborting. That made him happy - it was their child, anyway, "I've always wanted a family and children of my own. Biological children, ya know? Thought it'd never happen because of my preference, but...You know...It's a piece of each of us, if you are. It's...As girlish as it sounds, made because we love eachother," his brows furrowed. Cliche and girlish, indeed. But he didn't exactly care right now, "It's...ours."
Patrick smiled briefly at that, leaning up to press a kiss to his cheek gently, eyes closing slightly. "...you're right then... We need to make an appointment somewhere... Just..somewhere to show us it's not deformed or anything.."
A smile faintly touched his lips as he leaned up and kissed his chin lovingly, "I agree. Want me to get the phone book, or do you know of someone? You're the scientist in the family..."
Patrick hesitated, head tilting back just slightly for Mordread to keep kissing, letting his eyes close. "I don't know anyone.. I can ask around but.."
"But?" he asked softly, pulling him close and kissing at his cheek and chin again, "You're still in shock, aren't you?"
"...a little." Leaning closer, nuzzling into him with a sigh. "And it's too soon! it's been..like...a day." Frowning slightly. "We could wait a week or something...Just to make sure.."
"Yeah, we can wait a while, so long as you want love," he stroked at him gently, "Do you hope you're not?"
"That's not it. You just..can't tell after just a day. it takes a few days - a week - to be able to tell." His cheeks heated up, head tilting to press his cheeks against Mordreads. "....we could have little black kitties."
"Or little white kitties with black stripes..." he blinked, "Oh, s**t, I'm a cat. Or part cat. Cats have litters...." his green eyes widened at that thought, "s**t." It wasn't that big of a deal - was it? Could his cat genes..? Or would it be like Lashran genes and only have normal amounts of children?
"Maybe if YOU got pregnant?" He suggests, fingers petting at him still. "I dunno. Let's ask the doctor... When we find one." Smiling faintly, kissing at his cheek softly.
Mordread turned his head to kiss him in return, gently, "We need a bigger place. Or to add on more rooms...Or something...I think your parents should pay or ask Ianna or something. I don't want to move." he had just gotten settled in his first stable residence, ever. He didn't want to move again.
"Neither do I." His nose wrinkles, returning the kiss oncemore with a faint grin. Fingertips stroked at the others back, eyebrows arching. "..Ask Ianna? For what?"
"Matilda, she's some kind of..I unno, uber powerful thing, right? How do you think she got such a big place? It's not like they're rich..." he shrugged his shoulders and snuggled close to his lover.
"You never know.." A faint shrug, eyes closeing as he enjoyed the other being close. "We'll think of something.."
"I know we will. We'll get through everything together. You'll never get rid of me, Patrick," he chuckled softly and looked up at him with those loving green eyes. The closeness, intimacy...Was just lovely.
"Mmph." His eyes close, fingers petting at his back, tips stroking over the others tail. "We'll be okay..."
A soft groan could be heard, then, "You KNOW what my tail does to me..." he murmured, taking a deep breath. It wasn't as if he could do anything - he was too sore, but damn..
"Mm?" He blinks, nose wrinkling. "No. I like petting. Calm your c**k down."
"Easier said than done," he grumbled, chuckling softly and nibbling on his lower lip, happily. It was then he made up his mind - if Patrick was pregnant, he'd propose.
He grinned and stretched out, eyes closing. "I'm hungry... I should get some food, lover.."
"I'll get you something, what do you want?" he stroked his cheek and untangled himself from his lover, standing up slowly.
"Something green?" He murred, eyes sliding open to stare at the other with a grin
"Salad with sesame dressing sound okay?" It was easily made and Mordread was too tired to even cook for himself. Which meant he'd have to share...Not a very pleasant thought for the cat.
He grinned and stretched out slightly, wriggling his And with that, Mordread went to grab both the phone book and a salad for his lover. Things had an odd way of working out - but he was happy despite the soreness and surprise.

"Please, Shiniee?" Iamel bounced from foot to foot in his excitement. His lower lip poked out in the semblence of a pout, red/orange/yellow locks flopping with him in turn. "I'm not gonna be big for a long long time - I wanna!"
"Iamel..." Patrick groaned quietly, diapering yashima quickly. The fox child wriggled just slightly in the grip of his new diaper, tail flicking a bit. he remained silent, eitherway. Iamel didn't get a second thought from the foxie-baby.
"Please," He whined, voice sliding up a decibel or two. "PLEASE, Shiniee! I wanna be like Diacyn - HE has one!"
Patrick groaned again, this time silently. So that was why Iamel wanted pierced ears... That little brat of an owl had an extra hole through him. Iamel was just so YOUNG! A thought struck him at that; Iamel was also very, very selfish. his red and black eyes lit up, giving his firstborn son a grin.
"Fine," He retorted, ignoring Iamelse squeal of delight, "But only if the other kids can come and get their ears done too."
Iamel paused in mid-squeak, eyes narrowing in malice. "What?" The boy drawled out slowly, small arms folding in front of his chest. "But they don't WANT it! No fair!"
"It can be a family tradition!" Patrick replied, loving his sweet sweet triumph over the forces of evil. "All new kids can get their ears pierced."
Iamel scowled but, in a period of contemplation, gave a sharp nod. "Fine. Them too."
The black man jolted just slightly at that, frowning a bit. "You - wait!"
But he was too late. Somehow, Patrick found himself at the piercing parlor only an hour later. Iamel had carried Akilah (his new favorite psycho sibling) while Patrick carted a silent yashima nad a giggling Lahela. The bird anthro was quite excited, despite not knowing why. Yashima just cuddled...because he was a good boy - unlike his siblings. Akuti pranced around them happily, little hooves making soft clicking noises against the floor.
"Hey," the lucky father called out to the piercer. She saw the amount of kids he was toting with him (Lahela snapping her beak helped) and she grinned. "Yeah. All of them."
"None for you, sweetie?" Her voice was teasing. patrick grinned and gave the girl a quick wink. "Okay, okay. None for the porcupine. We have a cute redhead -"
"I am NOT cute!"
"An adorable saytr," Akuti beamed, "A...a parrot girl? A cute little kid with fox ears and...?"
"A meerkat."
Akilah heard his species and squeaked happily, fingers twisting in Iamels hair. "Meerkitteh!" The boy crowed this triumphantly, tail curling. The gaurdian winced, head tugging back automatically. "Dawdie! Keela Meerkitty!"
Patrick glanced at the two when he heard that squeal, a grin spreading on his lips. "They're all getting their ears done."
"All?" Eyebrows arched again before that smile returned to the womans face. "Alright then! let's start with the oldest."
"Me?" Iamel looked surprised at that, moving to put Akilah down on the ground. The meerkat scrambled to his feet with a squeak, wobbling just a bit. "Why me?"
"The bravest first then."
His eyes narrowed and Iamel took a step closer. HE was the bravest!

Dear Livejournal wanna be thing,
thank god for yashima. Oh, GODS, thank GOD for Yashima. Thank, thank, THANK YOU GODS, FOR MY SILENT SON. He's the only sane one out of all of them. Where Akilah and Iamel are eating bugs and Akuti is running amuk, Yashima just sits there, sucking on his fist. ugh.
He's gotten a little bigger, able to make soft noises every so often. I don't know if he's trying to talk or what but he does. There's been no attempt at walking, either... Yashima seems fully concent to be carted around by myself or Mordread.
Oh, thank GOD He likes MOrdread. Akilah can't stand my kittybitch - tries to ******** bite him - and Lahela is trying to bite everything or... I just don't know. I don't know what to do with this a lot.
I... I dunno, journal. Things suck a little bit... I'm worried about my physical condition and thank god for Yashima.. thank annnything... I love on this silent little foxie b***h.
-Patrick.

Enoh Love Okay.
Money? Check. Wand? Check. Car? ...Doesn't own one. Comfy Shoes? Check. Pants? Check. Money? Double Check. Wand? Double Check.
"Okay, good!" Neveah stood in the doorway to her small home, looking over herself and everything around her. She'd already gained permission to stop travelling and to stay at home, but under the condition that the drow wand she held become the subject for a research study, which was to be conducted solely by her. Frankly, in her mind, that was the hardest thing done and over with.
Well, thats a common way of thinking, for a woman who knows next to nothing about parenthood.
This butterfly humanoid had zero maternal instincts, so since she thought the hardest part was over, she was going to get onto the second hardest part...and that would be to get books on parenthood and children, so she can force herself to learn what nature never taught her.
So, she made her way down to the local shopping district, her precious drow wand held securely to her body with both of her arms. If there was one thing she did know about children or future children, it was that you had to keep an eye on them at all times...even if they were just wands to start with.
"Oh geez, I don't know where to start..." Neveah sighed out, thoroughly discouraged. There were so many stores, so many...everything! She hadn't been home in a year and a half, and while she'd travelled and been stuck in thoroughly confusing places, she'd never felt this confused or lost before. With her antennae twitching bravely, she started down the sidewalk, eyeing each and every shop she passed by, looking for something that might help her in her quest for parenting books. nozomi_ga_kanau "Dawdie! Buggies, dawdie! Yum yum on buggies!" "Akilah! No!"
Quite a sight, to see a little brown and white meerkat zooming down the sidewalk, chasing after a little beetle flying high in the air. He was holding a large purple ball to his chest so.. it became more like waddling after a few minutes. Right after his hyper a** came a short black man, pierced to high hell and back, a little pale child being held securely on his hip.
The pale child was sporting fluffy blue and black fox ears and a tail to match, wearing a small 'asian' looking outfit made out of green silk. He was distracted from his brother and his father by the butterfly thing and the wand she was holding that they were quickly getting closer to.
Akilah stopped when he got near Neveah, diminutive foot-paws pausing and staring up at the woman. Then, demandingly, he held his two hand-paws up as if accepting an offering. "Buggie! Keela eat buggie now."
"Akilah! Damnit! No! No eating people!" The man swooped down, scooping up the squirming, whining meerkat as well. Yashima remained silent, golden eyes on the humanoid butterfly before sliding to the wand in her hand.Enoh Love Neveah's antennae twitched as she heard the meerkat call out, then the pounding little feet that followed...that got increasingly louder. Turning her head, the butterfly woman looked down at the animal child once it had stopped beside her, her angled eyes blinking in confusion. "Uhh...Excuse me...?" She stared at the small meerkat, the wings on her back fluttering for a moment before closing behind her. "Eat...Bug--..." Her angled eyes widened as it sunk in, and she instantly backed up towards one of the stores, her wings flaring open as she turned to face the little animal...and the wand was clutched tighter to her.
"YOU CAN'T EAT ME!" She cried out in panic, her eyes wide with what might have been fear. Little or not, the meerkat wanted to eat her! The woman visibly relaxed once the 'threat' was scooped up, and she placed one of her long hands onto her chest, as if to stop its fluttering. "Ohthankgod..." Neveah breathed out in one word, leaning against the wall behind her.
"Uh...Hi?" She smiled weakly at the man; he saved her life! Or at least the life of her fragile wings, because he highly doubted the meerkat could eat her body. Well, maybe a toe or finger or something...but her wings would probably have been a prime target. "Kyaaah...you saved my wings, thank you...!" Well, she thought he might like to know she was grateful. nozomi_ga_kanau "Don't worry, miss... He's just a baby. He wouldn't do anything.. WOULD you, Akilah? Apologize!" Patricks voice had gone from amused to a firm fathers, looking down at the floofy meerkat sternly. Akilah deflated slightly, clutching his ball to his chest and staring up at Neveah.
"No eat fluttry buggie," He agreed solmnely, ears pricking up a little bit. "Wandie? Yashi wandie?" Again, the boy tried to reach for something at Neveah - the drow wand - but with some fancy hand movements, Yashima was slid into a little pouch at his front and Akilah was soon strapped to patricks bag.
Gotta love having a kid on either side of you. Akilah squalled for about thirty seconds before falling silent - he was asleep. Silly babies. Yashima, however, was still staring at the wand. His hand had moved up to his mouth and was being gummed and sucked at quietly.
"He's a meerkat...they're just hyper and always hungry. I'm really sorry about that. I really--" Patrick paused when he caught glimpse of that wand, lips quirking into a grin. His own hand, dark and encrusted with rings and bracelets, was extended towards teh woman. "My name is Patrick. I've been to the Wand Shoppe as well." Enoh Love Neveah was at a loss for what to say...how was she supposed to know he wouldn't do anything? Regardless, she had to admit she was impressed with the way the man handled not only the meerkat, but the other pale baby. Now that was talent. Considering she had no maternal instincts, she was in complete awe at the infant-handling talent. "Wow, that's amazing!" She told him honestly, her hands clasping together. Maybe this man could teach her how to handle children! Then again, kneeling down and saying 'TEACH ME!' seemed a little odd...even for her.
"Whats a 'Yashi'...?" She questioned slowly, knowing full well what the meerkat meant by 'wandie'. In fact, she had shied away from the little one again, when he went to reach for her precious wand. Blinking her angled eyes, she then looked down at his hand.
"...Oh! Its nice to meet you, Patrick...I'm Neveah." The butterfly seemed to startle once she realized what he was doing; it'd been so long since she'd had to shake hands with someone as a pleasantry. Her hand, complete with slightly longer and thinner digits than a human, clasped his gently but firmly. She'd been wearing a long-sleeved specially crafted sweater, but even then a hint of her light black fur-gloved forearm showed through. "...You have?" She finished, looking from Patrick down to the Drow wand in her left hand. Brightening, she actually smiled at him. "Oh, that's wonderful! Do you mind if I bother you for information, then...?" Suddenly, the urge to drop to the ground and beg for him to teach her was twice as strong. nozomi_ga_kanau "Yashi is what Akilah calls Yashima, this little silent bugger here." Patrick shifted so he was once more holding the silent pale child, eyebrows arching. "He's from the wand shoppe - he's a kitsune. A fox spirit. He used to be a wand too."
The dark man smiled, expression quietly crooked. "It's really not too hard... Just.. protect the wand, I guess? Don't let it get vaccumed when it wisps.. Uh.. Their poop smells just as bad?" He shrugged, one hand moving to ruffle Yashimas white and gold hair. The fox made a quiet face, sinking back into his fathers chest.
Yashima glanced up at Neveahs face and waved his slightly damp fist at her. "Abgabah." Ahhh, baby speak. Patrick grinned, giving the boy a brief squeeze.
"D'ya know if yours is a boy or a girl, yet? I could kind of feel Yashi was a boy but..." Enoh Love "Oh...well hello then, Yashima." Neveah smiled, waving her long fingers in a pleasant manner. She didn't realize it, but she never properly greeted the little meerkat who wanted to eat her. "So they do turn into infants..." She breathed out softly, almost under her breath. That was good, at least now she had visual confirmation that the wand thing wasn't a hoax.
"Wisps...? You mean it doesn't just...spring out as an infant?" Somehow, Neveah looked relieved...and rather happy about that. If it didn't suddenly become a baby, she'd have longer to study how to be a mother! Hurray! The butterfly smiled and returned the wave Yashima gave her, thinking it only proper. At the next question though, she looked almost sheepish, and suddenly found the floor around her feet really entertaining.
"Well no...I can't feel anything about its gender...I'm praying to whoever'll listen that its a boy, though...I wouldn't be able to tolerate a girl, to be honest." She prattled on, lifting the spider-tipped wand in her slender fingers, looking at that instead of the floor. Suddenly, she gasped; part of her said he wouldn't understand why she couldn't handle a girl, and really, she had to clarify it before she sounded sexist. "Err well ahh...This is a Drow wand, so the females are nasty, unbearable creatures..." There, suddenly the world was right. nozomi_ga_kanau "Well... Yashima seems to like it. I'm betting it's a boy." He smiled reassuringly at the woman, still petting gently at Yashimas hair. Patrick, too, had hoped that Yashi would been born a boy... he wasn't any good with girl-children and frills, ribbons and lace just pissed him off.
Her comment about the springing of infants from the wands made the dark man laugh, head shaking. "God, no. I mean.. ianna said Coailiann did... But Yashima became this little wispy blue thing and then this slightly solid cloud of baby gas matter around the wand... And then, one day, pop! Baby!"
Yashima nodded seriously, as if he could understand his father, jamming his hand back into his mouth. Patrick grinned, "They're smarter then average babies, from what I can tell... like when it comes to emotions and stuff, but they're still babies. The diapers still smell." Enoh Love Neveah brightened...someone had inklings about the drow being a BOY! "God I really, REALLY hope you're right...A Drow in general is bad enough, but at least a Male Drow is bareable" She seemed excited now, knowing that since the wand was most likely male, she doubted it would threaten her life, and her boss wouldn't have to take counter-measures. Namely destroying it.
And geez, of all days to not bring a notebook with her! "So...Wand to wisp to more solid, baby-like wisp to an actual baby?" She repeated, trying to make sense of it...that was odd, but then again most things on Gaia were. "Okay...I'll keep that in mind. Thank you so much, Patrick...I uh...have no parenting instincts whatsoever...nevermind maternal instincts. You've helped me so much!" Saved her wings from the meerkat, informed her about the wand, gave a prediction about the gender, told her a more accurate timeline about how the soul became a baby...geez, he'd been her saviour since she met him!
"So...if they're still just babies, normal parenting books still apply, right...?" The butterfly asked sheepishly, slowly peeling herself from the wall, her black and blue wings fluttering in discomfort behind her. "Because uh...in all honesty...thats what I was going out for, today..." It was shameful she was admitting that! She! A Woman! Honestly. Then again, butterflies were never the parental type to begin with...but still, she was part human! "...If you're not busy, would you like to join me?" Might as well at least extend the offer. nozomi_ga_kanau "Yashima just..really can't stand girls. Usually he cries when one comes near him with an intent to touch. So if he's not being antsy about your wand, I'm just gonna assume it's a boy... or a girl with a p***s. Either or, y'know." He was joking lightly, one shoulder rising in a shrug.
"Don't worry about the parenting instincts. I have seven of these little brats at home... Only a few of them can walk and talk without aide. Akilah - the fuzzy b***h on my back - being one of them. It's all me and my lover can do to keep them from overrunning the house! As long as you stay calm and don't like..beat them or anything, keep them fed, I'd say you're okay."
Patrick sounded smart about babies! Even he had to admit that he wasn't too good with people before the kids fell into his life... he wasn't social or nice or anything. He was supposed to be snarky.. and he knew it. But how could he NOT help this poor girl, who didn't have any clue what to do?
"Kiddlet shopping? God, yes. I was trying to but... well, Akilah ran off, as you saw. I know some good places." Enoh Love Neveah giggled. "So as long as the plumbing is male, Yashima will tolerate it?" It was funny, but at the same time...she was thanking the fact she hadn't tried to touch the boy yet...even though the urge to tweak his ears was almost unbareable. Still, she wished she had a notebook with her. Bad folklorist, bad! Bad form!
"Seven!? And here I am worrying over just one...!" The butterfly's antennae twitched a bit, as if entertained. "Well...it sounds fairly easy..." She breathed out, not really knowing how naive she sounded just by doing so.
"Oh, good then!I coule use the help very much!" Holding the wand in the crook of her arm, she clapped her long hands together a few times, a rther childish motion of joy. As she started back down the street, and fell silent for a moment...and after a few minutes of quiet contemplation, she looked to the side, towards the man who'd agreed to help her. "I uh...really appreciate this. If there's anything I can do in return, I'll try my best to do it...." She started, her gratitude clear in her voice. "...I'm a folklorist you see, so I can get my hands on a lot of different things..." Not that she'd steal for the man, she was just trying to say she could get tickets to a game if she wanted too, as long as she could think up some bogus story to accompany it. nozomi_ga_kanau "Yep! He pretty much despises girls. I think your wings keep him from seeing you as a girl, though." A quick grin from the dark man, taking a step or so back. "It's not a problem! I like helping people! I know what it's like to think you're completely fu--folklorist?"
Ooooh, did that ever perk him up. "Well... You wouldn't happen to know any legends on gods like Inari, would you? A Japanese rice god? I've been looking for stuff on him and so far...the pickings have been scarce." He paused, head ducking slightly. "...unless that's not what you meant! Gah. Sorry."
Even while he was talking, Patrick shifted to walk along, fingers crooking slightly to indicate the girl to follow, lips quirking into a grin. Enoh Love "...My wings?" Neveah questioned curiously...why would something like wings distract someone from seeing her as a girl...? Curiously, the woman looked over her shoulder at her black-outlined blue wings, fluttering them for a moment. Huh. Maybe infants were distracted by vibrant colours...? Her attention turned back to the man when he started talking again, and she found herself giggling at the way he cut himself off.
"Yeah, Folklorist." The butterfly woman replied with another small laugh. Her antennae perked a bit at his rather energetic request, then fell into silence as she thought about it. "Oh, no...! Thats perfect, I can definately help you there! Lets see...just so I have it right. Inari is the rice god that is both male and female, and his messengers are foxes, correct? I believe he can also turn into a spider to teach the wicked a lesson." She tapped one of her slender index fingers against her chin. "I'll go dig up some books on him for you...I'm sure my boss wouldn't mind if a few books went missing for a little bit." Philos kept two copies of everything...so if he really needed it, he just had to go into his personal library and retrieve what had gone missing.
"Uhm...Here." Neveah had gone searching in her pockets for something, and eventually found what she was looking for in a hidden pocket on the inside of her jacket. Once it was found, she held it out to Patrick...it was her business card, decorated with her work's insignia, though her name had a small blue butterfly beside it. Philos had done that without her consent, and it only served to piss her off...but considering she has no choice, she resolved to dish them out as often as possible, just to get rid of them. "That has my work and home number on it, so just give me a day or two and give me a call, alright? I'll have some materials for you by then."
When motioned, Neveah shuffled to cath up with him, then walked beside him as he wandered down the street.
nozomi_ga_kanau "Your wings," He confirmed, lips quirking into a grin, "Yashima has two anthro siblings...one is a girl. Somethings like wings - and your antenae - helps him see you as something that won't hurt him and thus, not female."
Patrick paused, nose wrinkling. "Or maybe he just really, really hates fully human females? I don'tk now. I'm waiting until he can talk before I ask him anything." A faint grin, hand still petting at his sons head... Yashima really DID like being petted... it comforted him. At least Patrick knew that much.
"Yeah! That's Inari! Yashima here used to be a messanger of his...or that's what I'm told, anyway. He was an awesome god to begin with so now that I have foxbaby here... Well, I'm curious, yanno?"
A sheepish smile, reaching out to take the card, blinking. "Pretty card. Not a problem... I'll probably call in half a week.. I loose my mind with all these kids. Hey! There's the store I was telling you about... That's where I got Akilahs ball and the damn thing hasn't popped yet." Enoh Love "Oh...well that makes sense!" Neveah agreed, once she heard the explaination for it. Reaching up, the woman tugged lightly on her antennae. "Yeah, I understand...A butterfly can't hurt anyone..." She murmured a bit. It was true, she never was a fighter. In fact, she had a tendency to flee once danger lurked its head. Either that or bring a fighter with her. That was the butterfly nature, though...they never did stay and fight.
"...Inari's messenger...?" The woman repeated in awe, looking from the man to the rather quiet boy. Geez, everything around her seemed to be research-worthy! Slowly, she pursed her lips into a thin line...No. No studying them. Her job was for the spider wand and nothing more. She made a mental note to find a way to keep Philos from investigating the wand shoppe. Who knew what would happen to these...reincarnations...if that old man found out how much potential they had. Suddenly, Neveah broke into a wide, careless, and absolutely happy-go-lucky smile. "That's amazing! I understand why you wanted information in Inari...I'll be sure to double my efforts, then!" She hid her glower at the mention of the pretty card. Neveah certainly didn't think so.
"Aheh...thanks. And yeah, call whenever you have time!" Then, with a soft cough, she turned her head to look at the store they had stopped infront of. "Oh, is this it? Akilah, he chews on it, right? I thought I saw tooth marks...So if it can stand up to that, it should stand up to anything!" She laughed softly, moving forward to open the door for him, considering he had two infants and she only had the wand. "Uhm...if its not too much trouble...what kind of things would I need to buy an infant? I mean, aside from a crib and a lot of diapers." Still, the woman looked sheepish...it was embarassing, not being able to live up to the stereotype of your gender. nozomi_ga_kanau "Butterflies can hurt just as much as humans can, sweetheart. Anything can hurt another being." The scientest was very sure of that statement.. it showed through his tone. Everything was dangerous - everything could be used against another person.
Her reaction made Patrick grin proudly, giving his son a soft squish against his chest. "Inaris messanger! The science geek in me went absolutely bonkers when I found out it. I've kept this little journal...note thing. He seems to be more aware then most of the babies I've met but.." He laughed, head shaking as the dark man stroked through the silver locks of his sons hair.
"It's not a problem, hun... You should get a changing table. Some clothings - lots of clothes." He laughed softly, tickling Yashima so he smiled shyly. "What did you say your poddling was? A drow? They don't have tails or anything, right? They make special stuff for brats with tails." Enoh Love "We're usually the ones that get our wings torn off." She reminded him, tapping her chin thoughtfully. Well, she was a humanoid, so technically yeah, she could hurt someone. She just really, really doubted it.
Waah, he kept a notebook! She bit the inside of her cheek, forbidding her inner folklorist from getting out and demanding to read it once Yashima was older. "A journal, eh? I have to keep one for the Spiderling too...I've already got that one, though...Like I said, I came out for Parenting guides." Neveah giggled, still forcibly keeping her inner folklorist in check. "Geez, instead of lending the books to you, I might as well photocopy the entire thing for you." Naturally she was teasing...but she may end up doing just that.
"Crib, Diapers, Changing table, and a lot of clothes..." As the woman repeated what she'd been told, she counted the items on her slender fingers. Perking a bit when he asked her about the soul again, she gave a slightly hesitant reply. "Yeah, a Drow. And no, they have no tails. They're usually obsidian-skinned, white haired elves...and they also happen to be very high, if not tied for first place on the 'Most dangerous race' list. They're a nasty bunch...I can count the encounters where the victim survived on one hand, and even that is giving too much leniency" She informed him, looking and sounding very much defeated. Oh, her wings were as good as gone once the infant stage kicked in. "So I hope the clothes are as durable as the toys?" The butterfly was laughing nervously now, twisting her hands together.
"By the way, what kind of toys do infants use?" Hey, it was a good question for her! nozomi_ga_kanau "I'm sorry." Patricks voice was soft, and honest, "But when I was younger, I collected butterflies. I didn't torture them, though... Any kid I saw hurting something got a beat down by the flaming gay six year old." He smiled briefly, glancing at her at the comment about his notebook.
"I keep a notebook about all of my kids. I'm a scientest.. I study them, even though I adore them. I mean.. Akilah alone came from another dimension! Another world is out there. Whose to say every other world all the religions and cultures talked about aren't really there either? Who knows if the gods really don't exist in another world somewhere, like where Akilah came from?"
Then patrick realized he was blathering and shut his mouth quickly. He couldn't blush due to the pigment of his skin, but his cheeks heated up none the less. "Sorry. Sometimes I get carried away... But if they're night elf type things, maybe clothing that can withstand the suns rays? UV resistant or something. Covering?"
He shrugged, grinning at her at the question about the toys. "Anything they can't choke on. Nothing with small pieces. Rounded and soft is usually a good idea. They're really soft and not very smart." Enoh Love Neveah smiled gently, her antennae twitching a bit at the mention of collecting butterflies. She did too, in a way...well, the butterflies found her, and usually stayed there. It was fairly chilly out at the moment, so naturally they were nowhere to be found but...soon enough, they'd come back. "Haha...I guess I should consider you a hero on behalf of my close relatives, eh?" She giggled, then turned and gave a small bow. "Its nice to hear that though, thank you!" Politely, she listened to everything he had to say. Ah, so there were people like her out there!
"Well...this is the first kid that I've ever had, so.." Naturally, he knew what that meant. Patrick sounded very much like kin to her right now...the whole studying the children, the wonderings about other worlds...it was refreshing, for sure! "Oh, no! I don't mind...really! I actually agree with you." Smiling, she folded her arms behind her head, the wand still in her grasp. "I hate to admit it, because it sounds so cruel...but my boss, the only way he'll let me keep the wand is if I study it as it grows. Its become my job, not only my responsibility..." Sighing, she moved one hand from behind her head just long enough to brush her hair from her face. "But at least this way, I don't have to always travel. I imagine constantly moving would be hard for any infant." Well, at least she was looking on the bright side, right?
"Hn...that sounds about right. Or anything with long sleeves, I'd wager." Isn't that what the weatherman suggested for those blazingly sunny days? Ah well. Naturally, the woman stored what information she could get. "So...stuffed animals and blankets?" Neveah questioned, stopping infront of an aisle that had various baby blankets and bibs. "Like these?" nozomi_ga_kanau "I don't like things being hurt, is all. Half the reason I have so many sprogglets." He smiled briefly, thin shoulders rising into a shrug with a soft chuckle.
"Actually... my job is one of my children. She's a genetically altered parrot child...girlthing and well... A company is paying me to raise her and take notes like a crazyman. Don't feel bad about it - it's survival. If you and the baby are the better for it, take notes. Learn all you can about him. I know studying Lahela has let me know more about myself." He grinned, glancing back at her with a faint smile. "I have to imagine so. Traveling with a dirty diaper? Ugh."
His head shook, smiling and tugging at a blanket gently. It had little apples all over it. ... Kay would appreciate that. "Yeah. Like these things. Soft things that can't be choked on work wonders on brats, right, yashi?"
Yashi had fallen asleep on his chest. Ah well.

nozomi_ga_kanau ((Y'know what? smile Screw this. I want him to grow. Anyone - ANYONE!!! - reply to this.)) "We're gonna go see Ianna and Coailiann and all them, baby~ Aren't you excited? Oh yes you are." Patrick was gushing over Yashima - who had learned how to stand!
Oh, Yashi couldn't stand for more then a few seconds and had to be holding something, but he was standing all the same! Well...not right now. At that moment, he was clutching onto his daddys blue shirt, wide golden eyes watching as people passed them as the duo made their way to the Wand Shoppe.
"Ianna?" His voice carried, nudging the door open with his hip slightly. "Anyone? Helllllo~? I come bearing a fox-kit!"
"Gabah." Yashima agreed gravely, tail flicking slightly.Kyrianna Ianna, being the freak she was, was actually trying to cook. When she had a magic refridgerator to do everything FOR her. Maybe Malen's jibes about her lack of cooking abilities had finally gotten to her.
Or maybe she needed a distraction from Coailiann's mad-woman stunts going on in the living room. Oh yeah, she was trying to walk again - and it was NOT going very well.
In fact, several things were turned over and the entire lobby was a mess from her frustration.
Coailiann certainly did not like being slower than the other children. Or smaller - because damned if she wasn't smaller than other human children she'd seen. The fact she wasn't human didn't seem to bother her.
It was the fact they could do something she could not. When SHE was supposed to do everything better than everyone else, damnit!
At the sound of Patrick's voice, Coailiann plopped on her rear infront of the door. Maybe Yashima had come with him! That would be great - because lord knows HE couldn't walk either.
And that would make Kay silently glee inside, "Trick?!" nozomi_ga_kanau Poor Ianna! Patrick could whip up something nice and yummy. He was awesome at making steak (despite being mainly vegetarian) and he wasn't too bad with other things either.
He grinned when he heard Coailianns voice, glancing down to lok at the girl with something akin to amusement. "Hey there, beautiful." The dark man went to his knees to be almost face-to-face with the toddler, free hand reaching out to give her head a fond, gentle pat. "What've you been up to?"
Ah ha! Yashima knew this one! He knew the light-haired girlie-pie, yes, yes he did! One hand twisted into a fist, shoving the round nodule into his gummy mouth to suck at, other hand reaching out for Coailiann in a mockery of his fathers actions as well.
Girlthing. His voice was small, still a whisper in her head, but he was learning. Kyrianna So could Malen. Ianna was tired of being the brunt of said jokes, though, and wanted to do it herself. Unfortunately the silver hair woman had problems boiling water - which said a lot.
"Walk," she said, nodding her head as she smiled brightly at the colorful man. He was one of her favorite people - which meant a lot coming from the little white-haired princess. She was VERY picky.
Then again, if you gave her an apple you were automatically in her golden book. But apples were a different story.
AND HE HAD BROUGHT YASHIMA! That alone earned him a golden star in her mental star-calander-thing.
"Shima!" she giggled and reached out to pet his hand, giving a bounce on her diapered bottom.
Boything, I got bigger! Pretty? Okay, so Coailiann had a bit of a vain streak going - but who wouldn't when everyone fawned over you all the time? nozomi_ga_kanau Patrick smiled right back, dark and bejeweled fingers twisting and tugging very gently at the soft silver strands with a chuckle. "You're learning to? That's fantastic, baby! Once you learn, you don't go back."
A quick wink and Yashima was put down gently with the bigger girl. "You'll watching him for a second, baby? I'm going to go find your momma."
Oh yeah. He had faith that Yashima wouldn't do anything stupid and that Coailiann would alert him if anything happened. The fox kit reached with his un-wet hand to pet at Coailianns light hair, lips peeling into a quiet smile - a rare expression - around his fist.
Soft, he agreed, continuing to pat at the girl, Shiny. Pretty. Kyrianna Coailiann was being given responsibility? Was that even a smart thing to do? Her chest puffed up at it and she smiled, charmingly, "Otay! I watch!"
Something about how she said it though would probably put Patrick on guard. Sure, Kay would never HURT her best friend, but she did like to get into trouble. And Kay trouble was the worst kind of trouble of all, right? Right. Because she was better than everyone else.
Coailiann stroked at him in return, crawling closer and pressing a sweet little kiss to his cheek, Thank you, boy thing. You got shinies in your ears!
She didn't. Why did HE get to when SHE didn't? SHE wanted shinies too! Coailiann ALMOST started to complain and whine until Ianna agreed - but she didn't. She simply continued to pet at Yashi and play with his hair.
She'd be a good girl. For now. nozomi_ga_kanau Of course it was a smart thing! Patrick knew that if anything went awry, he'd hear something from Yashima... eventually.
At the mention of the sparklies in his head, that cute little smile twisted into a little frown. Made me. Hurt. He nodded and actually allowed the kiss to his cheek. He let her put her lips on his flesh! Consider it a giant leap. All have it... at home. Shiny like daddy.
When Coailiann continued pet, Yashima arched his head as best as a baby could, leaning into her hand with a muted purr down in the depth of his throat. Pets.... Kyrianna Hurts are bad... the little girl nodded her head and rested her head on his shoulder, yawning quietly. It seemed all the destruction she had caused wore her out. But that was okay! Yashi!Pillows were all the rage with Coailiann.
He was comfy.
Yashi likes pets? I keep doing then. with another confirmation-nod, she continued to stroke at her friend's head, How is rat-thing? Hope he bad. nozomi_ga_kanau Bad He agreed, letting his fist pop out of his mouth with a soft, wet sound. Soft and wet or not, Yashima snuggled against the little sidhe, nose wrinkling up and pressing against the soft silvery hair he so liked.
Yashima had no way of knowing most of his hair was much the same color. The pets made his own eyes close, leaning back into her in a pile of cute baby-ness, tail shifting to wind around her with a murmur. Can talk now. An' walk. He bites. Kyrianna Coailiann was actually content - which was a good thing. When Kay was happy, the entire house was happy. Because that meant that there would be no fast-flying projectile objects going at your head.
Carefully her hand stroked his tail - VERY VERY VERY softly - remembering the last time. Hopefully it'd just make the fox happy instead of paining him - because she LIKED that tail. It was soft. And Fuzzy.
And and and...BLUE! She liked blue. Airaka The red head moved cautiously toward the shop, both hands clutching her large bag, which her little wand was in, one which was on the actual bag part, while the other was holding the strap around her shoulder. Airaka found herself awfully lucky, with parent teacher interviews going on at the school where she worked. Which meant that the parents of the children she baby sat for took a couple nights off to see how bad their children were at school, leaving her afternoons open for a while. As she pushed the door open, she glance about the area, only to find two small children infront of her. Although her eyes widened slightly, both with the surprise that there were children and that they were left alone, a small grin came to her face. She could recognize one of them, Coailiann, whom she had met when she first came to the area. Her and the boy seemed to be cuddling so charmingly. It was so cute!nozomi_ga_kanau Yashima indeed went tense as her hand descended upon his tail but... it didn't hurt? It had been so long since anyone had tried that he hadn't the nerves finally getting used to the outside world... And it felt nice! Better then pets!
He murred quite happily, fingers flexing a bit and nearly going limp - which was bad. Where Coailiann was smaller then most babies, Yshima was a rather decent size - he was going to be taller when he got older.
"I'll see who's at the door, ianna!" The voice carried, Patrick appearing in the doorway from the back rooms, eyebrows quirking into a faint grin. "Hello there." Kyrianna Satisfied that the petting didn't hurt him she continued to do it, despite the fact he was relaxing against her. He was roughly the same size as her - despite her being the older of the two.
Not that she cared. She still thought she could do anything she wanted - including taking his weight if he went limp.
Comfy?
Coailiann didn't pay any attention to the new comer. She was new and she didn't really care about much other than her fluffy friend right now. She was too content to pay her any mind. Airaka Her eyes flicked up from the children to where she heard the call from and landed on the colourful man that stood before her. She bit her bottom lip, and moved closer to the door as if an instant reaction. Then she mustered up enough courage to bow her head, and enough voice to speak, "Hi." She lifted her head from her feet, and pulled out the golden wand from her bag, holding it out in a horizontal fashion. It was a simple explanation to why she was here, which would most likely be the next question, and she didn't have to speak. Which is often better for the woman.
nozomi_ga_kanau Mmm That was all the response Coaliann would get out of him. Yashima was just a baby... an infant still! He got tired easily.
But then the woman came in - with a wand? Not a girl wand - a boy aura! It wasn't a scary type of girl either...she was quiet! The golden eyes fluttered open, hands tightening on Coailiann as he glanced up, tail flicking slightly. "Bogah."
The word was said as soft as her voice had been, a sticky finger pointing towards her. Patrick just smiled back at the woman, giving her an elaborate bow. "And you must be another Gaurdian for the spawns! Come inside. Ianna's busy, so I'm going to play host. WOuld you like anything to drink? Eat? Any children you need me to terrorize?" Airaka Airaka blinked at Patrick, and all of his sudden words, or atleast they were sudden to her. The bit about terrozing children made her grin, although it was maybe something someone with her job shouldn't find all that funny. She shook her head, and glaced back down at the children, focusing slighly on the one with the golden eyes. 'I'm Airaka.' she muttered, as she moved further into the area. She dropped her hand holding the wand from its odd position, and grabbed it with both her hands at her stomache. Kyrianna Coailiann's bright green eyes moved to Patrick. She knew Patrick - she'd pay Patrick time of day, "Trick! Up?" she wanted hugs and cuddles and attention. ATTENTION was good.
And while she was getting some from Yashima, she would get more from the big shiny man. Because he called her beautiful and made her smile! Yes, yes he did, "UP!" nozomi_ga_kanau "Airaka? That's a nice name - Princess, just a second! I'm being nice to someone!" That last part was directed to the young lady snuggling against his son, scant seconds before Patrick dipped down to scoop up both of the children.
"Have you met the podlings of the wand shoppe yet, Airaka? The demanding little princess is Coailiann, the most adorable baby in the land-" Coailiann got a brilliant smootch, right on the cheek!, "And the quiet one is my personal wandie-boy, Yashima, the handsomist fox in the land! Aren't you, Yashi?"
Yashima just squirmed slightly, to make himself more comfortable. Patrick was gifted with a glance or two before that little hand moved toward Airaka once more. Fingers flexed in a clear 'gimme gimme!' motion towards her wand. "Boogah." Kyrianna Yay! Attention! From her favorite-ist big-thing! What could be better? Sure she liked Malen and she tolerated her mother, but Patrick was shiny. And loud. And happy. And and and and...He was complimenting her!
"Yeah!" she giggled happily and patted at his cheeks, snuggling close to him and sticking a thumb in her mouth. She tasted good - but not as good as Malum.
Thinking of Malum, where WAS That little brat child? She wanted another playmate! Airaka Although his complement made her feel funny, the colourful man seemed awfully sweet with the children. She nodded at Coailiann, then directed her attention to Yashima. When the man before her told her of his relation to the boy, she blinked back up at him. The roster and Ianna. They had both told of a man whose child was already out of his wand. Could it be ... 'Are... Are you Patrick?' Asking someone if she had stated their name right felt even funnier then the comment. When 'grabby-hands' Yashima made caught her attention, she looked down toward her wand, and tensed slightly. She strengthened her grip on her wand, then look up to Patrick, looking for an answer. nozomi_ga_kanau "Eh? You've heard of me?" He blinked a few times before breaking into a grin, giving another little grin - and blowing a kiss against Coailianns cheek. Patrick was in a good mood today - hormones and all.
"I'm Patrick, alright. Who told you about me? Ianna?" Heavily pierced eyebrows arched with a slow grin, bouncing Yashima quietly. "And it looks like you have yourself a boy wand there too! Much luck with those little monsters. I think the boys are quiet," Nodding to Yashima, "And the girls...."
Patrick glanced at Coailiann, lips quirking into a grin, "Not so much." Kyrianna Coailiann beamed at Patrick and then looked over to Yashi, You like me, right?
She was a girl! Actually, she was more than just a girl. She was a princess. And Princesses had to be loved, right? Kay wasn't satisfied with just one or two people loving her. EVERYONE had to, or she wasn't a very good princess.
"Trick! Love!" she smiled charmingly back up at the older man, wanting more kisses and love. Airaka 'Her and the roster.' Airaka's voice was tad more cheerful, but still with that hint of startchy hushedness. Her eyes widened slightly, and jerked one of her hands off of her wand, holding it more weakly. 'How do you know that... That the wand is a boy, not about the girls being loud thing or the boys being quiet. Although that last statement is questionable....' Her voice trailed off, sounding weaker the further into her speech she came. She coughed slightly, and gave Patrick a apprehensive grin. It gradually occured to her that talking about inatimate objects having genders was bizarre, but she quickly forgot about it, noting how this whole thing was curious. nozomi_ga_kanau "Because Yashi usually gets upset when a girl wand is about?" He offered, shoulders rising in a shrug, "Or he'd at least ignore it instead of wanting to hold it. So it's a boy."
It was all very matter-of-fact to the scientest, glancing down at the demanding toddler and giving her two more sloppy kisses on each cheek. Then his attention went back to Airaka. "What is it, do you know? We have a sidhe and a kitsune... There's a drow wandering around, and I think something to do with matches?"
Yashima studied Coailiann carefully before giving her head a little pat. Uh-huh. Kyrianna Good, cuz I like you too. Coailiann was very rarely nice to people - so when she was, it was quite a miracle. Considering she liked Patrick and Yashima and even Malum and Levis...The chances of her extending her grace to the woman in the room was slim to none.
Which is why, currently, she was ignoring the daylight out of Airaka. She had enough friends, right now.
Actually, it didn't make sense. She wanted to be loved by everyone, and...Eh, her mind worked weird, "ANKEEEEE!" Airaka Airaka blinked, finding that it, oddly enough, made sense. Or it would. She raised the wand slightly toward the two, with a happy smile. If they wished to look, she guessed it would be find. Just as long as they didn't try anything to hurt her wand baby. Her grip on the lower part of the wand could still be noted as fairly tight. 'It... He is a wyvern. I don't know if it has anything to do with matches.' Sidhe, kitsune, drow. Oh, they all struck some bit of here, but she couldn't list off on fact from the top of her head. She definitely needed to look up some things. Why he mentioned matches was a general confusion to her, but she didn't dare want to question it. She raised an eyebrow at Coailiann and took a half step back. nozomi_ga_kanau "A wyvern? A ground based dragon type thing?" His eyebrows furrowed slightly - only to be interrupted by Coailianns shrill shriek.
Patrick jumped about a foot in the air, gasping and tightening his grasp on the children. "JESUS! Coailiann! Don't SCREAM like that!" His voice was almost harsh, but firm... He was used to dealing with kids like Akilah, who refused to like his lover. Dumb kids.
Even Yashima looked startled, clutching onto Patrick. Airaka The fact that Patrick jumped and she hadn't surprised her more then the child. She was often one of those who could be easily surprised, then again, she was often set with children who could explode at any moment. And then, her tone was often kinder then the one that Patrick was using. Lowering her wand hand, she opened her mouth as if to speak with the child, but her speech was directed to the man, 'She is alright, eh? Is that ... normal of her?' Airaka then remembered of the wyvern comment before, and after pondering slightly on it, she muttered, 'I don't know, really. The only thing I really know about dragons is the stuff in story books.' nozomi_ga_kanau "Well, one of the girls who has a wand - the drow wand - she's a folklorist." He smiled again, now that Coailiann had FINALLY shut up - she'd fallen asleep, like a goodgirl. Patrick shifted both children - sleeping or dozing - onto the floor, where they soon curled around each other in a childish ball.
"You could maybe ask her. I have her number... not with me." Patrick made a face, tugging Yashima up and against him, cradling him close. "But we have to be going.. He's about to conk out and I have six other little brats to take care of at home." Airaka Airaka nodded her head, and stepped out of the way for Patrick. 'That would be intresting. I guess I'd like to meet her.' Of course her wavering voice didn't seem to sure of that fact. She grinned at him, 'I'd like to you and Yashima again, too. And good luck with you "brats".' She transfered the wand back and forth, a fidgety movement, before tucking it back in her bag. When he left, she would follow, finding it more polite to leave after the colourful man. nozomi_ga_kanau "We'd like to see you again too! When your sprogglet appears, be sure to look me up. Yashima needs more friends he's not scared of." Patrick grinned and, cuddling his son close, ducked out of the wand shoppe and went towards his own home... Time for someones nap. Airaka Airaka eyed the sleeping Coailiann for a second longer, before following Patrick out, her red hair brushing into her face with the sudden air that blew past her when she opened the door. She was kind of tired at the moment. As she dragged herself outside and readjusted the bag on her shoulder, she decided that she be taking a nice long ... nap.
