Zach laughed, having his dinosaur raaar at Izzy. He jumped around the room, having quite the active Dinosaur.

Rene continued to sing and cry, sobs interfering with the music. Her hands crept up and rested over Henri's, holding them on her arms. At her core, Henri, she was still a very hurt girl. For all she would comment about her age in heaven, she still was learning the ways of men.
And she would still have traded anything, even went back to her child's body with the adult mind, all wrapped in chains, if her family was back together. She missed her brothers, she missed the house, she missed her mother.

Izzy giggled and followed, her dinosaur always an arm's length ahead of her and roaring loudly.

Henri assumed this, although he knew verbalizing his thoughts would be suicide. He simply rocked slightly with the girl, gently "shh"ing her and reassuring her that everything would be okay.

Zach dove for Izzy, holding out his dinosaur (Which looked to be a stegosaur) and roaring. "HE WILL EAT YOU!"

Eventually, her tears and singing dropped off, and she looked at the ground. Her shoulders and wings were hanging low, hands only lightly gripping at Henri's hands.
She didn't know what to say. Such disgusting weakness had been shown.

Izzy gave a playful scream and fell down on her back, hefting her Triceratops high.
"NOOOOOO!"

Henri was privy to his daughter's games and so paid the giggling and yelling no mind. He gave one of Rene's arms a little squeeze and sighed.
"It's alright. You don't have to be strong all the time. I love you, Rene, I do."

"ROOOOR!" Zach beat at her dinosaur and roared at her. Oh noes, Izzy!

"I do. If you're not strong, you're dead." Rene said, her voice thick. So much unhappy. So very much. "It's so hard to do sometimes. I don't know how to get better, I just know how to keep going."

Izzy laughed insanely and then let her arm go limp. She paused a moment before speaking.
"Blarg. Dead. Got me."

"No," Henri tried to reason, releasing Rene and walking around only to face her and hold her arms again, "I don't know what all went on in your life. I know you lost your family, and I know it was hard, but this isn't then. This is now. You have a family who loves and worries, and you have me. You're allowed to be weak without being dead. Everyone is weak."

Rene shook her head, still looking down. She was disgusted in herself right now. So disgusted with the weakness.
"No, I can't. I can't burden people to fall back on them, no matter how pretty the words are they use."

Izzy giggled and pet Zach's head-bulb.

Henri gently touched Rene's cheek and brushed away a thatch of hair stuck to tears.
"We say these pretty words because we mean them. We worry, and we love, and I personally would throw everything aside if I could make you feel better just once."

Zach puffed up his cheeks and wiggled his head. Jiggly!

Rene reached up and gripped onto his shirt. Very slowly, jerkily, she leaned her head down to rest lightly on his chest. Her shoulders shook, and poor Henri would be getting a wet shirt.
"I'm sorry."

"I'w be cawefuw," Izzy promised with a smile. As long as he didn't try to sting her, she would be careful to not get stung!

"Shhh," Henri cooed, one hand wrapping around the girl and the other coming to rest softly on the back of her head, "There's nothing to be sorry for. Nothing at all."

Rene continued to sob quietly, clinging to his shirt hard. She gave a little shudder at the one armed embrace, tilting her head so her cheek rested against his chest.
Eventually, the tears stopped, and Rene just felt very, very awkward.

Izzy just giggled. Out in the main room, Henri just pet Rene's hair, his embrace loose enough that she could "escape" if she so wished.

Rene did indeed shuffle back, looking down.
"Haa... Awkward." She aid softly, clearing her throat. Well! That was indeed damn awkward. Letting yourself go, Rene. How horrible of you!
