I don't even freaking care anymore about gaia's stupidity.... watch out every one next will be your drinks and your sexy bunnies and clothes. Oh wait never mind they've been producing an increasing number of that sort of thing, maybe looking like a whore is okay on the internet.
I don't think any of the warnings, bans, and campaigns have ever stopped or reduced people from smoking.
Humanity has an always will turn to harmful things in order to coup and feel better about themselves. A handful of 0s and 1s is not even worth describing as a spit in the ocean.
The irony is I'd be more than happy to see smoking on screen and have it not exist in real life. It doesn't harm me when it's on a screen.

I think there are times when having some sort of tobacco product can make an avi that much more funny. Such as my Grim reaper avi that I do. I always but a cig in my hand because it's like "******** you cigarette *I* kill people!"

Concerning Gaia being outright "stupid". I don't think that that's necessarily the case. Banning tobacco on here is a silly notion, yes, but Gaia was likely pressured by a third party. Either a financial sponsor threatened to cut funding (as much as I hate them, they have allowed Gaia to survive this long) or a party that is able to harm Gaia's image if they failed to concede.

I really think this is a good indication of what Gaia's become. Back when I first joined, Gaia was Gaia. Now, Gaia is Gaia+Skittles+Movies+Aquariums+Profit+s**t.
And when you have that many parties involved, how can you NOT get this kind of s**t?
