I've both the clarinet and the bassoon. i learned to love the bassoon (after playing for a few months) and it does have a cool sound (when played by somone with actual skill). i'm not angry about the bassoon comment, but i just felt like defending my instrument. (it does sound funny, but in a good way)

I hate my band's percussion section. Buncha idiots can't even hold a steady beat when my director is practically throwing his baton at them when he's conducting. It's hard to hold a steady tempo when all you can hear is the crashing of cymbals right next to your ears going almost double-speed.
