well.. i don't consider myself new to playing magic, but whatever information i know about it is somehow old.. i started buying cards from the ice age expansion. but then, nobody in my school played mtg anymore.. crying so i somehow forgot how to play.. after 6 years, i was again introduced to mtg.. this time alot of my schoolmates are playing.. and they taught me how to really play the game.. then again, i stopped after the torment expansion was release.. because everyone else graduated..

now, i want to play again.. but seeing the new expansions made me feel like i'm a newbie again.. i'm not updated to the new expansions anymore.. and i don't know if wizards of the coast release shadow-type cards.. [i love soltari monk so much.. i want to do another deck with it.. i just don't know if it's possible again..] crying

crying

you never know...they are getting crazy with reprinting things that should be left in the dust. nows a good time to start again because 9th edition and ravnica are coming out and you can re-pick up from there.

Well, unsummon costs one mana...

Anyway, I've been wondering exactly what the legal deck size(s) are.

At least 60 cards, I don't think there's a limit to how many you can have in a deck. But I'm not totally sure because I don't play in tournaments that often.

60 card minimum and no more than four copies of any card excluding basic land.

I am new to the guild, so hi, but I'm a vet in MtG terms. I have almost 11 years of solid play under my belt...and I've taught many a n00b how to play. I've helped my friends make decks, and how to play smarter and better...though I've been taught a lot in my day as well.

Anyway, I am here to answer any question, or put forth a second opinion. PM me if you need help.
