 Lana timidly enters the common room, edging around the corner she lugged her violin case and a couple of patched suitcases into the vast lounge, she could see a fireplace, tables, chairs and some long couches. She also noticed a notice bored on the wall opposite the fireplace, she was unsure of where to go to next. She glanced around the room.

 Kurt walked into the room at ease even though it was so unfamiliar to her. She whistled a little bit as she brought her stuff into the common room. She looked around the large room and stopped whistling. Kurt didn't know where the heck she should go first. She saw Lana, her old friend, and waved a little to her.

Lana heard a sound of someone else entering the common room, and she saw Kurt waving at her as she turned around. She exclaimed glad to see someone to share her timidness with 'Kurt!!!' She hurried over tripping ever so slightly over her luggage, spilling the contacts of the most patched case.

Lana saw Lorrieta, and nodded shyfully when she graciously welcomed them to Hufflepuff.
She then decided she'd take her gear upstairs.
And started towards the stairs, of which she suspected were the girls quarters.

Lana after putting away her luggage, and checking her violin was okay, headed down into the common room tripping on the last step and quickly grabbing the wall to steady herself. She looked around the common room, hoping no-one had seen her almost trip and fall.

 Amber looked up from the book she was reading by the fire when she heard a noise from the stairwell leading to the girl's dormitories. There she saw Lana, looking like she had almost fallen. Amber chuckled, and in greeting said, "Oh, hello Lana, how are you today?"

After brushing her self off she heard a voice greet her, she looked up to see another Hufflepuff by the name of Amber. She smiled meekly, and siad 'hello' very quietly. She felt shocked at being addressed directly, but she felt accepted somewhat.

OOC time!
There's a heck of alot of brainstorming going on in the For the Graduates thread over what graduates should be able to do as well as designing the new Beyond Hogwarts subforum which will be run by Graduates. If you don't plan on roleplaying a hogwarts student the whole time you're here I'd suggest you go over there and input your ideas. But that's besides the point.
Currently, grads and non-grads alike are desperate for ideas on how to name the 4 "residential areas (RAs)" that will be going into the Beyond Hogwarts subforum. 4 residential threads for 4 hogwarts houses. In them, you can hangout with people and will be able to roleplay your own household as well as invite whatever friends you may be collecting in your RP adventures. Unlike the commonrooms, anybody can visit any RA, but your character's "home" will be established in the Hufflepuff thread. Now for the problem... this Hufflepuff area needs a name! We have the following names put forward so far:
Brock's Valley
Broad Valley
Badger Valley
If you have any other name ideas that would better suit Hufflepuff or you particularly like one of the existing names please come to the thread and let us know your thoughts. Thanks for reading!

Amber, as the prefect, help all the Hufflepuffs out, making sure they have all their stuff. Then she heards to the Hogwarts express with the others.

((Well, I just got sorted into Hufflepuff and I'm very excited to be in the best house in Hogwarts! Also by the looks of things the deadest house in this forum, wow. razz You'd think there would be more because anyone who doesn't fit into the other three are supposed to be thrown into Hufflepuff. razz Nah, I'm proud to be a Puffy, and you're only boy it looks like. He's going to be a gay boy though, not flamboyant, but scared of it in himself and not confident, he is only 11 after all.
Anyway, glad to be here and I look forward to it!))

(( Hooray for more active Hufflepuffs! Welcome welcome! ^_^ Hopefully the activity picks up in here for next term. We were actually a bit more active before Winter. I have no idea what happened o_o' ))
