Naito Heh since I stopped playing Final Fantasy after the original, I can't say I'd miss that guy. My RPG series right now is between Tales & Lunar. Square dominated the RPG market back in the SNES days with titles like Chrono Trigger & Secret of Mana but after that, nothing they made I'd consider a "classic". Wonder if Capcom will work on another Breath of Fire... Final Fantasy 9 is my favourite (even though the slow fights). And Star Ocean 3:Til the End of Time is kick-a** fun the whole game. 3nodding

Well the need for speed franchise started out as a simulator, one that felt alot like Project Gotham 2 in it's very first release. People enjoyed it alot, but to apeal to more they changed it to more of an arcade driver. It's supposed to be uber realistic without feeling as heavy as GT, and it feels alot mroe spontanious as well, so yuo can literally pull some moves out of your a**. It's very easy to drift as well, which is another erason i enjoy it.

I think that might be why I don't like 'em too much since I think it doesn't go as fast as I want. There a just 2 games made me feel it was enough, Burnout: Revenge and F-Zero GX. ^_^

Heheh, thanks for the info guys... Of course I'm an rpg fan, but don't let the cuteness fool you. I'll gladly tear up anyone in some choice racing games.. I'm also a GTA gal, sadly, I'm a little behind, I have yet to test out GTAS... I've played Halo to see what the fuss Was about.. and I gotta say.. not seeing it.lol. Crono Trigger is a classic, Crono Cross was alright, I liked Little miss Harle, But alas, yes.. My heart belongs to the Final Fantasy series... well, the only one I didn't like was 11... But still. Ohhh and Lunar was awesome... I really need to get that again.. I've noticed that no one ever really mentions one of the ps rpg's that I found to be rather good... Legend of Dragoon, I loved it.. yet very few mention it.. let alone the amout of people I know of that have never played, let alone heard of it.... tis a sad fate. Panzer Dragoon Orta... not a bad game at all. I'm also not sure what to think of this new Shdaow the hedgehog game.....

I bought Legend of Dragoon and played it. I thought it was fun and good. But I bought it as a already used game, so the 2;nd CD was bad and I couldn't play further. Since as soon as I entered a battle and tried attacking with the main character or Rose (I think her name was) the game would just stop moving. xp

Drevlin Gatz TdaMax confused Hmm... ... PlayStation tends to dominate the console RPG world... ... Xbox is probably best known for it's first-person shooters, and some fairly nice action games... ... confused What would you guys say is Nintendo's field of expertise? Action and puzzle games, maybe? Fun and strange games. Especially with their new controller. xd It is true the PS mostly has really good one player games. But who knows, it might change now that the PS3 actually has seven controller ports. eek I know atleast the PS3 will have one good FPS, Killzone 2 seem to be quite a game. But Xbox probably has the best online functions. 3nodding You know, come to think of it, all the platforms have some fairly good action and fighting games...

Never played those Dragoon games. The only PS1 RPGs I had were Tales of Destiny & Final Fantasy Tactics(though technically that was a strategy game). My bro wasn't a big FF either when he played video games. His PS1 RPG lineup included Brave Fencer Musashi, Wild Arms, & Suikoden 1 & 2. He had more but I don't recall what those were.

Aww, Poor Drevlin. Yeah Rose..... I loved her, great charactor. Shana and Dart.. I like Meril or whatever her name was.. she was such a cutie. Her weapon was a Hammer, and at the end of a battle, when it showed her... she would twirl around lifting the hammer up.. but it was to big so she'd drop it on her head and she's like fall still holding the thing, then rubb her head better. Soooo cute, she had another victory one too.. where she'd lean on it and shake her hips(Being a dancer and all it was quite the sight to see). That game has talent... good story line too. I highly recomend people to find it and play it.... Og course it's not that easy to find now. But it's just a matter of looking in the right places... Like Game stop, I'm willing to be the fricken poster child for that store... They have high rankings with me now... I'll tell ya why.. See I was Playing Myst 4 with a friend... we decided we needed the guid in order to get past it.. cause it's a pure stratagy game.. and it gets confusing if you miss the slightest thing... Sooooooooo we loked everywhere.. Eb- didn't have it, Borders- only by order and it would take 7 days, Waldens-nope,Barns and noble- only by order and it would take 3-5 days, we tried some smaller game shops- nope... And finaly.. Game Stop- YES, now I'm not talking they managed to have one little copy in the back somewhere.. no, they had like 6 of them on the shelf with the other guides... So... they rule... okay I'm done now.. sweatdrop

Never really played them myself but what made 2 pretty cool to me was that you could use your memory card with the Suikoden 1 data & returning characters would retain their stats(including the main hero from the first one who was recruitable in the sequel). I heard in Suikoden 3 the same memory card would have characters from the previous games star in a puppet show in a town.

It's pretty good... it's got a lot of characters for you to pick up, though; the whole 108 Stars of Destiny thing and all... @_@;;
