"Sorry," Mair muttered then yelled it out, "Sorry! Hey, it was just a warning shot, I didn't want to actually hit you." Sen confirmed that the shots had missed. "Okay, you're fine. At least not hit. By me, I guess." she scratched the back of her head, fluffing up her hair then patting it down again. She just noticed that the music was still loud and hindering to casual conversation. Carefully, she shot a glance in it's direction and it slowly decreased in volume. Hopefully the high level would think that there were at least three others, two gunners and one at the controls for the music.

He came into sight and the first thing Mair thought was that he was definately demonicaverage human looking, which was strange for his power level, though not unheard of. He did appear unhurt, which was good. She really didn't feel like dying today. It was also never good to beat on/kill potential allies.

"State your business," she said, trying for haughty authority and stopping short at awkward teenager.

((He's actually in human form and has been for many years.))

The music volume lowered, making it easier to hear the other's voice. Sangre came into view of the girl and adjusted his tilted glasses. A human girl. A teen by the looks of the hair style and dress. He knew the human stereotype of these kinds of girls, and this one seemed to abide by that so called stereotype so far.

He lowered the gun and blinked at Mair's question. Fair enough. A sensible question, but truly he didn't have much of a business. "Taking cover when I saw the explosion." This place was the nearest and a better alternative than standing like a sitting duck out there if there is a war going on. "And you?"

Why was a lone girl out here on a motorcycle armed? Did she not live with the other humans?

((I'm very sorry for not paying closer attention. I edited my last post in a way that was cohesive and also does not change her actions.))

Mair narrowed her eyes slightly. A high level ducking for cover? Usually they were the ones that caused the need for cover. What was this guys angle? Then again there can be some super high energy useless non-offensive powers. The ability to stop bullets from hitting anyone who isn't yourself...the ability to cause random radioactive effects...or maybe it was just an ability to emit massive amounts of energy without drying up like a raison. Could be anything. He could be anything. It meant caution must be used.

"What do you say, guys, nasty, yuppy, or in between?" she asked her machined silently.

-110110-
-1110011-

They all replied silmultaneously and with different opinions. Neat. Mair's bike came to life beneath her without prompting and she rode over, closing the distance between herself and the man. He had asked her a question.

"Oh, you know, just bebopping around, setting things on fire and all that." she paused, feeling a little concerned. If he was human, they should stick together. Comraderie and team spirit and all that. "Sorry about the explosion, there was a fight and I stopped it. It was a little messy. I don't usually like to do things that way, but when I'm offensive, it's real offensive. I don't reall have an in between." she stretched her body from head to toe, then kicked the stand on her bike and shifted her position so she was facing the man full on. She gave the bike beneath her the command to power down and put the turret bots on sleep mode so she wouldn't have to actively keep them from killing the poor guy.

Under her, the bike protested by revving loudly. Mair thumped it and shot it a glare and it finally obeyed and turned off.

"Where are you headed? I'd be happy to provide you with an escort, some cover. It's dangerous out here for people by themselves. Not advisable," she gave him a friendly smile. "Oh, and anyway, what's your name?"

((No, it's partially my fault too. I realize I didn't really explain what he looked like in my posts here. And the reference picture doesn't make him look like a doctor at all! Haha.

And I laughed at your post about the high levels.))

And the girl moved closer and explained her purpose interestingly enough. Beboping around and setting thing on fire. Sangre raised an eyebrow at her comment. "Oh." The girl had caused the explosion. From the tremors, it had been an awfully large one. Perhaps, he should be more cautious. What she said about her personality sure matched the explosion. "I see..."

The bike acted up at that point. For a moment, Sangre wandered if the girl would be alright, but she had a confident air about her and had the bike in control.

"I'm Sangre. I'm headed back to the base. Since the demons have allied with us, people have been moving to the Netherworld. I just decided to take a walk until it clears up a bit." As the words came out of Sangre's mouth, doctor realized how stupid the idea of taking a walk was, especially since he had walked somewhat close to an explosion. "Wasn't the smartest idea to walk about alone, as you pointed out." He quickly added.

((Sorry, had to edit in his name.))

"Psh," a sound of distaste and displeasure errupted from her mouth before she could stop it. Demons wanted them all dead just as much, if not more than the Celestials did. Well, it was give and take. Demons sometimes took up interest in humans and made them not die so they could play with them. That sucked. Celestials had no interest in humans at all and just killed or not killed as if they weren't even around at all! Which was worse? It was beyond Mair to tell, since both options bit it hard.

But to ally with things that found pleasure in flaying off human skin? What was wrong with these people? It was pretty much the reason she had been out by herself. She was a military brat and a tool of the whole and would do what she was told...but she didn't have to like it. It may have been why she killed the fighters without looking. Rash, unnecessary. And good. It was good. Demons were never good, even if they were pretending to care two craps about them at the moment. It would all end in blood and loss, surely. The humans help the demons kill the celestials, and then the demons turn around and slaughter the humans. Let's face it, she thought, the fact that the yuppies and nasties have each other all distracted is the only real reason we can stand up to them at all!

She didn't hate either race, but she knew, from everything she had seen in her short life, that they were never going to let them live their lives in peace. She was going to save this world, single handedly if she had to, and she would personally kill ever demon and angel in existance if that's what it took.

Too many had died. Her eyes scanned the horizon. Too much had been lost.

"My name is Maireachtáil. You can call me Mair, it's easier," she told him. "I probably ought to head back too..." she paused for a moment. "Listen, I'd really like to take you back like I said I would, but I wanted to make a stop, is that alright?" she patted the back of her bike with a smile. "You can ride with me if you want, but you have to ride b*tch I'm afraid."

"Heh, well, I don't quite understand it either. Safety in numbers against the Angels who would wipe out all except themselves, I suppose," Sangre agreed when he heard Mair's "Psh."

Sangre was out of touch with the demon world, but it looked like he would be back there when he joined the rest of the humans in moving the equipment to the Netherworld.

"Maireachtail?" Sangre hazarded, playing the words across his tongue. Interesting name. Mair is definitely easier to remember. he thought. "Well, pleasure to meet you too. I'll take you up on the offer. No hurries," he said. He supposed he shouldn't hold onto her and would try to hold on to the bike seat.

Mair slid onto the bike again in front of him. She stuffed her helmet on top of his head, since she only had one and it seemed polite.

"Hold on tight," she instructed him and took off at a breakneck pace. she gave out a whistle and the turret bots came out of sleep mode and followed behind her. She took the time to clearly mark him as a nonagressive entity. It would be inconvenient to undo, and slow, if he decided to attack, but it would be better then having them accidentally shoot him.

Sen beeped excitededly, giving the general direction and statistical information of the watersource, while Navi gave the specifics of the upcoming terrain. The bike merely grumbled about the extra weight and having to accept a passenger it didn't know.

Soon they arrived at the scene of a rock slide. Most of the land had slid away and it left what remained as a damp mudhole. Smiling, mair came to a stop and jumped off the bike, hitting the kickstand as she went so her passenger wouldn't fall over.

She scruffed at the ground with the heel of her boot. Then put her hand against the wet earth.

"There's an under ground river flowing under here," she said reverently her hand reached out tentatively to touch a smashed piece of grass. She realized that it was still rooted in the earth and tried for a moment to stand it back up again. You didn't see much plant life around. Most food nowadays was fabricated or grown carefully in underground facilities. Natural earth things were a precious commodaty. She stood and scanned the area, trying to think whether she should uncover it and how she could secure the area if she did. Her face was screwed up in concentration.

Mair wasn't kidding about holding on tight. Sangre barely kept his grip when the bike first jolted to a start. He learned and tightened his grip. as awkward as it was, just holding onto the seat.

He was curious where they were headed and he was curious about Mair herself. She seemed savvy with mechanic weapons enough to control them. There must be some sort of device. Maybe the beeping had something to do with it.

All thoughts of Mair stopped when they reached the rockslide. Fortunately, Mair had hit the kickstand otherwise he would have most certainly fallen over. He didn't know where and when she would stop.

"Are you looking for natural resources for a base?" Sangre asked. The girl seemed to scare about the environment from her actions with the blade of grass. Water was a necessity for all creatures. Was she scouting for survival?

"Sangre," Mair said softly, sitting in the mud and rubbing her fingers around in wide and small circles. "I'm just searching for signs that the planet is surviving, despite the abuse." she paused and shook her head. "If she can do it, maybe so can we."

She hopped to her feet again, the girl was a constant bubble of up and down.

"I can stay alive all I want, but if they make the ground crumble beneath my feet...well," she stroked her sensor with one finger. "some of us can make it here without an atmosphere. Not most of us."

Oh, right, of course. Some humans that can't even be considered humans anymore since they are pretty much machines... Sangre smiled softly. "If only the war was over, humanity would be able to concentrate on reforming the environment on a larger scale."

He chuckled. "Well, I suppose there is always the option of raiding the other two areas." He was referring to Sarra and the Netherworld. However, without unity amongst the humans, it could be dangerous. And those needed rearranging for sufficient habitability. At least, he could say so for the Netherlands. He hadn't been to Sarra before.

It was too bad he hadn't learned enough science to be able to create a small environment of his own for experimental purposes. He had already limited his expertise by choosing the doctor route in human society. Of course, he had the chance to work with some scientists at times, but they never expanded on their ideas to him.

(( seeing as i dont exactly know where to start i guess ill start where ive lived for the past 13/14 years razz ...or whats left of it...))

The sun rose above the ruined buildings of whats left of a city which is now impossible to identify. Maria, casually laid back against the wall of a ruined building, waiting for dusk to make here move... to find what she seeks...

"Sometimes... i wonder...what really happened here... what went wrong? how did it happen?... oh what do i care... just gotta live somehow... eating what i believe to be 200 year old salisbury steak..."

As she sat there overlooking what was left of humanity on Earth she felt alone... not just the feeling where you've locked yourself in your room feeling, but more of the "im one of the few of my species" feeling...
"Well.. wont get anywhere by sitting here... wonder if the stairs have gave way yet.."
As she opened the maintenance shaft that she came in though she walked the empty and body ridden halls of the building, searching for the stairs...
"Oh dammit, the stairs have given way... oh well guess ill go have to take the elevator"
She turned around to face the elevator shaft with no elevator in it...
"... i give up... guess ill just... sit here until either those crazy Horde fanatics get me or the celestials do..."
Maria finding nothing to do expect either wait for a rescue team that wont come or try to find a way out of the building...
"Well i'll go wander a bit more before i give up for good..."
She began to wander the halls taking all precautions not to get herself killed but occasionally taking some risks to get closer to the ground floor... and also making enough noise to wake up a deaf person...

After 3 hours of climbing down rubble and maybe breaking down some walls, she was able to atleast find her way to whats left of the ground floor... only problem is the door is rusted shut...
"Oh god... guess ill just die here... this must of been what it was like for rats in sewers... always having enough food but not a way out..."

Sangre was under the impression that the area was barren and lifeless, which was why Mair was excited in finding a source of water. However, he was proven wrong when another human dressed in armor approached and asked a question. The human didn't seem to be a machine, but Sangre couldn't tell for sure if certain parts of the human were.

It wasn't often that Sangre encountered other humans besides those from the bases when he traveled outside. Today was his lucky day. Either this man was lost or was just a loner in this long dead wasteland.

"This area is another product of the war, just like everywhere else," the doctor said. "Most of the survivors are in the bases, but are heading toward the Netherworld. Apparently, we've allied with the demons against the angels."

I am being talkative today, aren't I? As a doctor, Sangre had always been careful to choose his words since the wrong ones could adversely impact patients dramatically. He never said more than necessary and wasn't one to converse heavily.
