Enami flew intently towards the Castle of Light, her sketchbook tucked snugly under her arm and her sliver-white hair whipping in the wind behind her. She had a new plant in mind for the Royal Garden. Well, she thought to herself, just because the atmosphere everywhere else is gloomy, doesn't mean the Garden has to be. Her wings began to tire as she reached the Castle balcony, and as her feet touched the white marble floor she took off in a sprint down the corridor. "King Rael!" she bellowed. "King Rael? Commander Sabidan? Anyone?" Her pace slowed as she reached the large oak doors to the army base. She generally avoided this area at all costs, but she was sure she'd seen the Archangels, if only some of them, pass through these doors. Enami pushed the doors open with a slight difficulty, and rushed past the troops, giving them a short salute as her hair shadowed highlights of dark grey, unnoticeable to the glancing eye. She continued pressing on in pursuit of her mission. There, on the horizon, she saw two bright flecks of light... could it be? Sure enough, she watched her King and his right hand man fly to the area of the portals, a venture her weary wings could not manage. "Oh, darn it," she muttered under her breath as she kicked at the ground. "Stupid slow wings... Why can't you be as fast and have as much endurance as the Archangels do?"

Degial noticed Enami at the gate of the Sarra grounds. Slowly, he turned in his quest for his brother towards Enami. Her powers would benefit the land greatly in its search for perfection. He let his wings spread, taking him towards Enami. This time, he did not leave a trail of feathers, but the sun behind him illuminated his figure so that a halo could clearly be seen reflecting off his golden tresses.
It took him no time at all to reach Enami, unheard and unnoticed. When he finally landed behind her, his step was lighter than feather. With graceful movements, Degial covered Enami's eyes from behind, whispering in his singsong voice "Guess who?"

Em startled slightly, dropping her sketch pad and feather pen. She let out a small squeak, her hands moving to the ones covering her eyes. It took a moment for the familiar voice to register in her mind, and as she pieced the information together her hair flashed from grey to light blue, then settling at a mix of the two. "C-Captain Degial!" she stammered, removing his hands from her eyes and turning to him, blushing as their eyes meet and promptly looking down. Noticing that her hands were still holding his, she dropped them quickly, blushing an even deeper red, then clasping her hands together behind her back. "I-I didn't expect to see you," she managed, still looking down. Why am I here....? What did I come here for again? She wracked her brain as to why she had gone in search for the Archangels. There must have been a good reason... The metal clasp of her sketch book caught her eye, and her mission came rushing back to her. "Oh!" Em said, bending down to grab her book, then standing back up while clutching it at her bosom. "I have a new plant idea for the Royal Garden. Would you like to see?"

Degial took a small step away from Em, to lessen the awkwardness. He laughed slightly, a merry sound like a waterfall. He put his hands behind his back, clasping them into a soldier's stance behind him. His eyes followed the movements of Enami, letting her pick up her book and compose herself.
The thought of the garden amused him, and would ultimately help in the task. Degial nodded, to Em. Perhaps the plan could be used for the gardens, the thought flashed through his mind, not showing on his expression at all. "It sounds lovely."

Em's crystal blue eyes brightened and a smile flashed across her face, her hair flashing a beautiful shade of blue-gray. "Wonderful!" She fumbled through her sketchbook clumsily, then stopped at a page smudged with pencil marks and fingerprints, with a well-drawn sketch in the middle of the page. The plant looked much like a lily, only with a vine-like stalk, and the middle had the look of a baseball chrysanthemum. "It's not colored," she explained, "because I ran out of colored ink a few days ago on my rough drafts. But, what I'm thinking..." she shut her sketchbook and tucked it under her arm, then made a rolling motion with her hands in front of her, as if she was making a ball of air. The very flower appeared, only in brilliant colors. The lily-like petals were splashed with orange and yellow, and the middle shifted from green, to blue, to all the colors of the rainbow. "See, I got the idea from my hair. It changes color corresponding to my mood, and so will the middle of the flower. Only, the beautiful part about this gorgeous little thing is..." At that moment, the flower began to expel a beautiful song, light and playful, and the center fixed on the color red. "It sings."

Degial nodded his approval, letting his hand trade the end of the drawing, colouring it in the prisms of colour that Enami had envisioned. His wings spread farther apart and encircled them, reflecting the sun onto the little flower. "Sublime." He whispered his appreciation for the beauty of the little flower, something so small that pleased him greatly. In this way, he was different from the others, grasping at the little wisps of happiness where he could find them.
Wind stirred towards the portal but Degial's wings shielded them so that the wind surrounded it, passing around it in a soft breeze. Degial smiled at Em, "Would you like to help me create it, not on Sarra, but elsewhere?" It was just the thing to inspire faith, a thing of beauty. Accompanied by heavenly voices, it could be a blessing upon the Earth. A hymn, perhaps, that offers inspiration of the divine world of angels and the recreation of that heavenly power on the threshold of humanity.
"A garden perhaps, of various flowers and leaves, almost as dazzling as the one on Sarra. Would you aid me in the mimicry of Eden?" His words were soft, hardly a whisper, and yet musical and smooth, a soft caress on the heart.

She stared at the beautiful flower intently, almost in a trance. As he said the words, her eyes trailed slowly to his, letting them sink in. "M-me..? Help you?" she said softly, influenced by the softness of his voice to not break the peaceful ambiance that was so rare these days. "H-how could I possibly do that? All I do is make plants. Beautiful plants, and sometimes useful plants, but they are just that. I am too soft, too...." She sighed, dropping her hands and letting the flower disappear. Too insignificant, she thought, looking to the ground, her hair fading back to grey.

Degial smiled gently, his wings stretching out behind him, in preparation for flight. The gentle flutter of his wings let the wind blow Degial's hair out of the way, showing his piercing grey eyes, now blue under the current light. Although his expression was mild, there was a wistfulness that was the result of watching his gentle guidance fall into chaos.
Slowly, the wind stopped and the hair fell back into his eyes again, easily obstructing the view to those eyes. Degial's smile never faded, "Beauty is the reason I chose you." He reached out and brushed Em's hair back, tucking a loose strand behind her ear, "beauty and the ability to use that beauty." He explained, his voice hardly more than a whisper.
He caught a falling feather with his hand and let the light catch it, showing its pure whiteness. Still letting it glow a lambent white light, he gently let it twirl in his hand. "You should know, above all, the power beauty and innocence holds." Degial presented the feather to Enami, "Perhaps it is the only way to bring humanity to the light." His last sentence had a hint of melancholy, something that is hardly ever detectable in Degial's speech.
Then, with a flourish of his wing, he took off into the sky, letting his wings keep him aloft. With a look of encouragement, he held his hand out to Enami, "Come with me, and aid me in the creation of a new Eden." The sun behind him created a halo around his head, illuminating the light coloured hair. "With the archangels, you can help usher in a new age." Degial's voice never raised to more than a whisper, yet his enticing tone carried through clearly.

"Continue trianing men." Rachdarmos walked into his quarters and sat at his desk. He opened the drawer and took out a picture. It was of his days when he was human. Or rather lived among the humans. He was of course an angel and a greater one at that. But he was sent out long ago to scout the land of the humans in which he was to be hidden. He had found a family in that time. But as was they had to be killed so as not to form to many bonds. "Huh what am I doing. They would've died in the purge anyway." He put the picture back in the desk and wondered about lord Sabidan and his feelings towards the humans. Could there be a friend for Rachdarmos in the Archangel?

Em gazed into Degial's eyes for the first time, and for the first time in a very long time she didn't feel so helpless. For the first time in her life, she felt like she had a purpose, and yet... it seemed too good to be true. A replica of Eden? The most beautiful place to ever exist, and she was going to help remake it? She gazed up at him hesitantly, a whirl of unanswerable questions flying through her mind. Oh, to the depths with your doubting, she reprimanded her mind. This is the chance you've been waiting for all these years. Humans becoming light beings? there's no greater thought for you, and you know it. I mean, what's the worst that could happen...? She stopped her mind from going any further, reached out, and grabbed Degial's hand.

With a brilliant smile, Degial pulled Enami up, letting the power of his wings stir them both towards the portal. A great and smooth wind passed them, helping them along towards the Earth. Guided by the faith of mind that Degial knew best, they went through the portal and into the land of humanity.
As they emerged into the other side, Degial looked around, instantly seeing the potential of the area and ignoring the barrenness. Degial stepped away from the portal, dropping Enami's hand. "It has potential, no?"

Em bent down on one knee and grabbed a handful of sand, crumbling it a bit and inspecting it, and then let it run through her fingers as she looked back up, surveying the land with a glazed stare. Such desolation, agonizing chaos, the world was not meant for such a horrific state. It looked so far beyond any repair, and yet Degial was certain they would be able to help in some way. "Yes... potential. But it needs a great deal of work... I doubt this place has been able to grow anything for years." She gazed off into the distance for only a short time longer, sighing, then looking over to Degial. "So, what's the plan, my captain?" She stood up, dusting off her hands and knee, then fixing her pearl-white dress.

Roselia's piercing eyes gazed blankly at the soldiers in training. For once, her mind moved at a slow pace as she focused on a single angel's sword, registering almost as if it were in slow motion. She stood with great poise, her perfect, pale hands only moving to adjust the smooth folds in her white, flowing gown before returning to each other, fingers crossed in patience. Though her skills in battle would never measure up to those of the soldiers in front of her, her training was unneeded. Roselia's real asset was what The Light's allegiance desired from her. So, instead she watched and waited, those blank eyes gaining energy every few moments as she looked to the portal anxiously.
"Lady Roselia?" a voice called from behind, and the crimson haired angel's heart thumped unsteadily in her chest. Whenever someone asked for her, the thought of battle automatically strayed into her thoughts. It was beginning to cause her a great amount of stress. She turned to the voice, which belonged to a familiar blond woman, and took a step towards her, "Yes?" her voice was calm, graceful. "You asked if we could inform you when the new scripture came in?" the angel succeeded in revitalizing Roselia's memory, and also in calming the frantic beating of her heart.
With a nod, Roselia followed the woman into a gaping structure. Once inside, she was greeted by massive walls of books, works and scriptures; one of the many paradises Roselia found in the Eden that was Sarra. Of course, their Eden had potential to fall to the Earth as ash and fire in years, months, days to come. Roselia would have to push those thoughts behind, it was her duty to do so.
A young angel placed a lavish binding in her hands as she stepped foot into one of the many private reading rooms that branched out from the main hall, then immediately left in silence. Roselia began to read the script, newly published by a well known angelic scholar on the topic of the war. She couldn't help but worry herself, wondering when she would be summoned once more by the council to receive information, visit their prisoners. Resting herself in a plush, satin covered chair, her weariness was yet again put to its test.

"Why do I feel that something has gone terribly wrong." Rachdarmos ran out of Sarra. He went into the portal that led to the Regiment base Garthora.
