Angel wanders into the temple and looks around wide eyed. This is the first time she has been here. She sees the High Priestess Lorika and approaches her.

"Dear High Priestess, I have come to try and learn a new skill. Will you instruct me in the art of Creating Holy Oil?" She asked hopefully.

(OOC: In my create a character I got a 2 on the random 1-5 so that means I know Sterilise, Create Holy Water already right? I'm just checking to be sure.)

Even a floor below of the congregation, Imaru could hear the sounds of praise for the Overseer. Mixed between the gentle but powerful ballads, High Priestess Lorika's voice blended together words of benevolence and comfort, which very easily rode upon the lenient melody. In such reverent a service, the followers found both comfort and strength- the epitome of the Clam Ways. Imaru however, found feelings of entrapment. He was here of his own accord and had no intention of leaving, though he very well could at any time. The people here had been more than congenial to him.

Getting lost in memories of the past while drowning in heavy thought, Imaru's lips began to gently move along with the words of the service Lorika gave. A childhood habit. Blessed be the Holy Shell, that protects us from the blight of evil...

Imaru brought his fingers to his lips as if to stop the act physically, before letting out a sigh and shutting the door of the private room. Allowing silence to wash over both the room and his own mind, his eyes fell upon the altar affixed before him. The sounds of worship unpermittedly begun to whisper their way in the back of his mind again. He clenched his fists full of his teal and white robe and sat before the altar.

His mind was an honest mess. This tended to happen when he was alone, and not burying his face in video games. Learning to sterilise and create holy water and oil was easy enough after a while. He learned it simply by sheer will power and stubbornness, and Lorika's help. Praying to the Overseer was proving to be a much more difficult task.

He grumbled like a toddler. "Oooh, you're mocking me, aren't you clam?" Imaru shut his eyes and began carefully to pray.

The sounds of surf on the sand, of birds and bugs of nature surrounding him, he had not expected to find something so alien in the opposite direction from the island's center. The bright reflection of light, where otherwise there should have been nothing but more trees and sand, it had caught his attention and gotten to the better of his curiosity. Through the leaves, squinting to better see against the glare, the white-haired figure found the break in the undergrowth, and the path leading up to the large white and teal building.

For the moment he couldn't see anyone else in his close vicinity and he left the relative safety of the forest's cover, picking his way carefully towards the building. As he neared one white wall, he stopped and cocked his head to the side, looking up and up along the tower against the deep blue sky. While gazing on the grand building, a sense of awe overcame him, quieting his nagging doubts of aimless hopelessness. For a time he found an inner peace, a feeling of home and basking in the literal glow of the Sanctuary, he felt renewed.

For a second time, again the white-haired man's wandering brought him to the Sanctuary. He stayed low to the ground, creeping about the corners through the island's forest. He kept a close eye for anyone else in his surroundings, because he did not know what was to happen if someone was to discover him. He only wished to sit here awhile in peace.

While he did not know that this, in actual, the name so fondly appointed to this place, coincided with that he called it within his mind. It was a Sanctuary, and found a small clearing underneath the brush where he could gaze upon the clean white walls. It was too easy to let his thoughts lose all of their troubles, seeing his future a little clearer now.
