I've been hearing little rumors that there is a materia combination that is flawless....I've experimented but I'm not sure exactly what it is...can anyone shed some light?

uhm... it's just 'knights of round'. ... not round table, lol...
and yeah... getting 7777 HP is easier than you think... just hang out in the sunken plane underwater near emerald... that's a great spot to gain exp and wait for the perfect time to get your HP right... did you know that morphing any enemy in the plane will grant you a 'source' (aka a permanent +1 to a particular stat) ??? Anyhow... just wait for your hp to reach XX77... making sure the first 'X' is less than 7... after that, just use potions and hi-potions to get the HP up to 7777... but be sure to have all the right materia you want to level up equipped, cuz some will change your HP and you'd have to start over again... after that, switch out that character and do it to another... *hint* use poison on one of your characters and end the battle when their HP reaches XX77...

Nope, I haven't been able to defeat either Ruby nor Emerald weapon yet. redface crying

i mimic cloud's final move over and over and doesn't die, i use all my super hits and that knocks him up a bit, Emerald is just pain in the butt, but Ruby is easier i think.

I was able to whoop them under two hours total with only 3 tries !!! blaugh But that meant totally maxing up my Knights and party

Final attack--Pheonix plays a major role in creating the best combination. Hp absorb and mp absorb is another combination most used for major bosses that can strike one out with less than 5 hits. Well knights of the round table revolves around this combination (with quadra and mimic) but it totally bores you out with the slishing and slashing...Snooze xp

The first time I noticed Ruby was when I was riding on my beloved gold chocobo, Goldy, and I ran into the monster on accident. I was thrown into a battle that I was completely unprepared for, and lost within the first three minutes.
The first time I went underwater with the submarine was when I noticed Emerald. It was scary... seeing it swim around. I always thought it was going to follow me, so I always got a heart attack and never went down there.
It was only until I had faced these monsters, for the short time that I battled with them, that I got over my fear of the weapons. Now, everytime I run into them, I don't get a heart attack.
Yeah... I beat Ultima weapon and all the other side quest bosses, though." x3

ok. Didn't even last 5 minutes with emerald, kind of sad really, but I don't have the good materia like KOTR and FInal Cut ettc. Coudln't rasie a chocobo becasue they wouldn't go in teh stupid stable!

hm... i've done more damage to ruby... but i've never beaten either of them XD;;;; yeah my first game i didn't get underwater matera =x
friend stop my cd on the 2nd scream
3rd game my computer died (i had the pc version) and i lost it... ;_;....
tale of sadness, no?
