 Comforted by Ryu's thoughtful and gentle caress, Flit's clenched chest eased some.
"Don't worry me like that!" she gushed quickly and turned her signature dark green.
Flit curled around Ryu's finger, holding him tightly as she trembled, it had been a long time for her since her last magick travel, and it was not nearly as powerful as what she shared with Ryu.
"Ryu, I don't know how it's possible, but we are bound now, our souls are one. No matter what you say I will worry about you." she said as she trembled ever more fiercely.

"That....explains alot." The boy responded, smiling. "Such as the blue-green energy, and this odd warmth I feel inside me every time we touch."
Ryu pondered exactly what this meant. Their souls were one....but at the same time, they were two distinct entities. So they wern't litterally one person....but there was no doubt that they were strongly entertwined.
"If thats so......what happens if one of us were to....well, meet an untimly fate?" He asked, feeling that he already knew the answer. If their souls were one, then chances are they would travel to the afterlife together.....

"I-I don't really know. I was never taught this far into bindings and soul shares. All I know is it can't be a good outcome." she said as she hung her head.
"But I won't let anything happen to you, never." she whispered softly, tracing small circles on his shirt with her fingers.
"You are very dear to me and my life is yours, you have restored my faith in the deep magicks that run through us all, and for that I am in your debt." she rambled. Flit looked around the tiny alley for some bearing as to their location.
"I think her shop is just out front. It has a blue and green striped awning over the door and window. Odd and ironic at the same time." she mused quietly.

Ryu couldn't help but chuckle at her sentiment. While he was touched by the majority of it, the part suggesting that Flit would protect him....
"Which one of us is less then a foot tall?" He reminded, her, scooping her up in his hand as he pushed himself into a sitting position. "Your magic is strong, and your wings grant you freedom through the air, but even a playful little puppy's strength could easilly overwhelm you." The boy explained, hugging her with the index finger of his opposite hand. "We need to look after eachother. Not you after me, or me after you."
Finally having the strength to stand up, Ryu exited the ally, Flit in hand, turning around as he exited it to face the doorway of the shop.
"Hello?" He asked, knocking upon its wooden frame. "Anyone there?"

 Hearing a small child's voice beckon from outside, followed by a little wrap at the door, Fae gathered herself and arose from the table. With a single sweeping gesture of her hand the door opened slowly, punctuated by a tiny squeak of the hinges.
"Enter children, and rest yourselves at my fire side." her voice strong and clear.

Ryu gasped, as the door seemed to open by itself in a very Star Wars like fashion.
With a quick nod twords Flit, and a gulp of nervousness, the boy entered, slowly making his way to the purple-haired woman who had beckoned them. "Erm.....excuse me miss......" Ryu started, butterflys in his stomach.

Flit hopped off of Ryu's hand and glided into the doorway slowly. Stopping just inside she turned and waved Ryu in, "Come on, it's cozy in here."

"Don't be shy Ryu, afterall, it was I who sent Flit to you." Fae chuckled heartily.
She swished her long skirts behind her as she swayed towards the fireplace next to a long rough hewn table and a few mismatched chairs. With a flick of her wrist, Fae motioned logs from next to the fire and another flick, and the logs were cast into the belly of the flames.
"What is it dear?" she asked as she turned towards Ryu.

Following Flit's glowing body, Ryu quickly closed the distance between himself and the fairy, walking with a grace that was normally reserved for elven kind. "Excuse me miss......" He began again, looking twords the purple haired woman.

Charley Davis A pesky ebony fringe kept hiding certain tid bits of his emerald eye. It was then that he augmented his shopping list; barrettes.
This need to smoke began it itch him as well, the man sighed in relief. There were still a few cancer sticks left in his pack.
With relative ease, Richard found a pleasant restaurant to lean against. That pesky zippo taunted him with sparks, but gave no flame. "Damn," muttering under his breath as the cigarette hung from his lips.
Lightly, a minute frown marred his fair face.
A lighter flicked, lighting Richard's cigarette. Solomon leaned against the other side of the building, lighter in hand. "Come prepared next time, cook."

"Damn, I'm starving." Arya strode down the bridge connecting the School's little Island to Nanjing. People stared as her hair whipped in the wind. Her eyes also very piercing. They flickered the many colors that hid inside. Passing many shops, she searched for one decent shop that had the smell of Human Food.

A man weararing a long coat, (December was approaching afterall), strode by the womman, dropping a piece of paper in her purse, before swiftly dissapering into the shadows.

The paper dropping by her, Arya picked it up, and turned around, the man who dropped it gone. "Weird dude." Looking at the paper, she wondered what it was
