 Ryuu walked into his room and closed the door then sat down at his desk. He pulled open the top drawer and pushed open a flap then out popped the Death Note. "Well who is today Ryuk?" Ryuk leaned over his shoulder and smiled. "How about we check the internet Ryyu." Ryuk suggested with a cocky attitude. Ryuu nodded in acception and opened up his laptop. It took only half a second of being on the internet for him to figure out who to kill. "This is a random kill Ryuk I don't have anyone to really kill. I guess I'll kill Danny Kassan the news reporter...He is 78 years old anyways." Ryuu took out his pen and jotted down his name.

 ◥ ʗɑгȡєɑ ◤ The Shape Shifting Performer With her hair down, a few strands laying within the water, Cardea sat back, relaxing within the warm soothing water. Her eye's were closed, her body feeling rejuvenated from the days, as well as the time spent within that slave shop. But suddenly her eye's opened, revealing her baby blue hues. Cardea thoughts ran to what she had found out just some time ago, with Ryuk's help. "does he...really kill people?" It was all a bit hard to believe though. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary when she went down within the basement. it seemed like just a normal room. But Ryuk insisted that more lay within it than what she saw and Ryuu didn't want her down there...so...
"Maybe...it is...true" Cardea began to feel worried, as well as paranoid. Would he kill her too? What would he do if he found out she went down there? But the one that still nagged at her was the real reason he brought her to his home. The shape shifter brought her knees close to her chest an hugged them, trying to calm herself. Closing her eye's, she shifted, changing into a fish, swimming within the tub. "What...do I do", she wondered.

Ryuu glared at his watch. "40...He's dead." He out his hand on his chin and sighed in boredom. Ryuk stepped up behind then turned at to the door. As he was walking trough it Ryuu's head shot up. "Where are you going Ryuk?"He schooched back his chair standing up shoving the notebook back into it's slot. "I'm going out...you could say. Hyuk hyuk hyuk." He grinned suspiciously and left.
Ryuk walked trough the door and down the hall to Cardea's room. He slipped right trough her door and looked around. 'Maybe she's in the bathroom.' Ryuk sat down on her bed and an apple poofed in front of him. 'I'll wait here for her.' He was in his own thoughts chomping down on apples waiting for Cardea.

◥ ʗɑгȡєɑ ◤ The Shape Shifting Performer After some time, Cardea reverted back to her human form, her true form, her head rising out of the water. As is washed over her, she felt somewhat better about everything. "Guess I just have to grin an bear it, as they say", she thought. She then stood from the tub and stepped out, her body dripping wet. Grabbing a towel, she dried her hair and then her body.
Once her hair was dry. as well as her body, she wrapped the towel around herself, and headed for the door. Placing her hand on the knob, she turned it and opened the door. Her eye's had been closed, when she walked through the door. But once inside her bedroom, the same odd feeling she had gotten before, upon meeting Ryuk came over her. So slowly, her eye's opened, seeing nothing but a floating apple, being devoured. Blushing deeply, she wrapped her arms around herself, in attempts to cover her body even more. "Ryuk!!!!! What are you doing in here", Cardea screamed.

 Ryuk looked up from his apple upon seeing Cardea in a towel. "Well theres a shocker! Hyuk hyuk hyuk." He grinned and stood up walking to her dresser and setting the apple core on top of it. "Well I came to show you this. Hyuk..." There were only boot steps twords a T.v. in the back. The remote was picked up and aimed at the T.v. At the top of the screen the numbers 1 and 2 were punched in bringing them to the Late Night News. A young woman with the head line Kali Kassan ran above it. Her face was really pale with a few tears running down her cheeks. "悲惨な死が私の父… Danny Kassanの前に少数の時あった。 彼は非常に奇妙なfreak心臓発作を有した。 私達はこれがいかに起こったが、それが第12変種の心臓発作この週であるか知らない。 これがなぜ偶然に起こっているか調べるためにより詳しい調査のために警察は続けていく。 これは日本Studios12から生きているあなたに報告するKali Kassanである。 おやすみなさい。" The news faded out and the screen went dark. A long silent paused filled the room. "That was Ryuu... Hyuk hyuk hyuk. What a bad boy." He started laughing as taking everything as a joke.[ *There was a tragic death a few moments ago of my father...Danny Kassan. He had a very strange freak heart attack. We don't know how this happened but it's the 12th freak heart attack this week. For further investigations the police will carry on to find out why this is happing. This is Kali Kassan reporting to you live from Japan Studios12. Good night.* ]

◥ ʗɑгȡєɑ ◤ The Shape Shifting Performer Glaring at him, or more like in the area the floating apple resided, Cardea calmed her fast beating heart, hearing as Ryuk responded to her yelling. The shape shifter watched as the apple made it's ways over to the dresser and sat upon him. Cardea was very upset, and was about to ignore him, until the t.v. turned on, the woman's voice sounding very serious and sad. Cardea turned around, facing the t.v., her baby blue hues gazing. What she saw was very tragic and sad. Bit as the event ended and the t.v. shut off, Cardea looked towards the dresser and spoke. "What was I suppose to see. It was just a new cast." Ryuk's voice then entered her ears and her head tilted to the side. "Ryuu? How could Ryuu kill Danny Kassan?" And as she folded her arms under her chest and turned her back, a thought hit her. "The death note?" Turning to the side, she looked over at the dresser, as if looking at Ryuk, but still unable to see him. "It can't be him...why would he?"

Ryuk couldn't help but to laugh. "Hyuk, hyuk, hyuk! Have you not caught on princess? Ryuu is the killer of Japan otherwise known as Kira!" He was on the opposite side of the room in a flash to finish up his apple core. His deathly yellow-green eyes set upon Cardea as he walked up next to here and whispered into her ear,"You may think Ryuu is a nice guy, but you have thought wrong. He is a killer who acts nice and innocent as possible, and his plan looks like it works. Hyuk hyuk hyuk! Don't you just love evil Cardea?!" Ryuk tilted his head back as he laughed and flicked the apple steam on the floor kicking it away from him with his shoe.
He looked down on Cardea's head with an evil smile. "Think what you need to think know and you can know more-" Ryuk was cut off by Ryuu's voice ringing in his head calling for him.

◥ ʗɑгȡєɑ ◤ The Shape Shifting Performer Cardea couldn't believe what she wa hearing. "Ryuu....the killer of Japan?" She had overheard that story while she traveled around with her circus family. Someone or something was killing people, but no one was ever on scene. All victims died of a unexplained heart attack, and there was never any leads, or so that's what she had heard. But with all the things Ryuk had told her, it all began to fit.
Cardea was now scared. Such a person has freed her from the shop, to bring her to his home. Why do such a thing? "Will I...be safe?" So much ran through her mind, until Ryuk's voice was in her ear, whispering to her. Cardea moved away from the sound of the voice, to only face it, or at least try to, since she still couldn't see him. "I...I do not", she responded, while he laughed.
As he spoke once more, Ryuk suddenly stopped, not finishing his sentence. Cardea waited a bit, before speaking herself. "Are....are you alright? Why did you stop?", she asked, her eye's moving around. Still it was quite odd speaking to someone you couldn't see. And with Ryuk, one could never tell where he was exactly, until he spoke.

Ryuk walked to the door slowly cracking it all the way open and stepping out. As soon as he left the room became warm again, back to the normal temperature it was. Ryuu walked up behind Ryuk half way down the hall and lead him back into his room. Ryuu closing the door and walking back down the hallway into the kitchen. Ryuk was back in Cardea's room, she would've been able to tell from the temperature dropping a couple of degrees. "If you want to know more ask Ryuu. I'm sure he will give you the scoop. Just say something like this: Ryuu have you heard about all the freak heart attacks lately?: You would have caught him red handed almost so he would give in...Trust me." The room was warm once again not giving Cardea a chance to say a word to him.

◥ ʗɑгȡєɑ ◤ The Shape Shifting Performer The cold chill she always felt when Ryuk was in the room, her only indicator that he was there, was gone. She turned, hearing the door creak open. And as she watched it, the temp in the room warmed up. "He's....gone" Cardea sighed heavily, re-adjusted the towel which was still wrapped around her. He hadn't answered her, leaving her curious, as well as shocked. What was she to do now?
Moving towards the dresser, Cardea began to search around for something to wear. And as she did, the temp began to drop once more. Turning around, she heard him speak once more, telling to to confront Ryuu, by hinting at what she saw on t.v. "But..." Before she could say anything, the room temp went back to normal, letting her now that Ryuk was no longer in the room. Sighing once more, Cardea pondered on what to do.
Once she found some clothes, Cardea made her way out of her room, deciding to go search for Ryuu. "Should I even hint at such a thing? I'm not sure if I can trust Ryuk", she thought. Folding her arms under her bust, she sighed, not knowing what to do. Her eye's had been closed as she continued to walk down the hall, but then she opened them, looking towards the floor. "But what if...he's right?"

Ryuu walked back to his room shutting the door quietly. He sat in a chair in the corner drinking coffee and writing in a journal. "What are you doing Ryuu?" Ryuk lurched over Ryuu's shoulder starring down onto the paper. "I'm writing a story Ryuk." He picked up his coffee mug taking a sip and glancing up at Ryuk. "So...Ryuk what did you do while I was gone hm?" Ryuu set the mug down and put his pen into the journal and closed it. "Well...I went to the Shinigami Realm and gambled with some guys then talked to Rem." Ryuk walked over to the other part of the room and sat on his bed. Ryuu rolled his eyes at him, kicked back and got out a book. Ryuk slipped outside the room and walked the hallways and saw Cardea. The hallway got cold as he came closer to her. "Are you going to talk to him? Hyuk hyuk hyuk." His cold voice rung in her head.

◥ ʗɑгȡєɑ ◤ The Shape Shifting Performer Walking down the hall, her mind still upon her previous conversation with Ryuk. she was taken back, not really knowing if she should or not, but it indeed was driving her crazy. Before she knew it, the temperature decreased, informing her that Ryuk was once again in the room. So stopping, she looked ahead, awaiting him to speak.
Hearing him, Cardea sighed, her arms still across under her bust. "I guess..." Would she even get away with it? Deep down Cardea felt that she would definitely get found out if she played it off real well. But she had to try. To fully know, and not from Ryuk's mouth alone. She had to know if Ryuu was the actual killer that the new spoke of, that everyone spoke of.
So releasing her arms from around herself, she clenched her fist at her side, and gave a nod. "I'll...do it." She then looked up, as if to looked up at Ryuk, despite her not knowing exactly where he stood. "Which room is his?", she asked.

Ryuk cracked a wicked smile. "O.k then." He stepped beside her climbing on the wall down the hallway. The walls creaked from his odd weight shifting on to it slowly. "Here." Ryuk jumped on to the ground but no noise was caused from his boots. He stepped in front of Ryuu's closed door and stepped through it and vanished. A couple of rings like water surrounded the door as he went right through it.
Before Ryuk went in he purposely dropped his apple steam in front if the door so Cardea could tell which one it was. Ryuk looked around in Ryuu's room; and Ryuu was in the same spot where he left him, in the nice chair with coffee and a book. "Welcome back Ryuk." Ryuu was kicked back on his chair with a small smile on his face. He slightly chuckled as he took a sip of his coffee. "You should read books Ryuk. They make you smarter." Ryuu emphasized smarter since he knew Ryuk wasn't all that bright. Ryuk looked at Ryuu with a slanted smile. "Only if they are about apples Ryuu." He smiled down at Ryuu from the other side of the room.

◥ ʗɑгȡєɑ ◤ The Shape Shifting Performer Cardea listened as the walls began to creak, trailing further and further down the hall. Soon it stopped, and Ryuk spoke. The temp soon returned to normal, letting her know that he was gone. Cardea moved further down the hall, looking from side to side, wondering which door he had spoke of. It was only then that she spotted something upon the floor. Kneeling down, she spotted the stem of an apple. "Here?" She then stood up and stared at the door. Her heart began to race, but she calmed herself. 'I can do this. "I've put on performances before. So this...she be easy" Cardea told herself this over and over until her heart calmed. Taking in a deep breath, she knocked on the door, calling out to Ryuu. "Ryuu?...are you in there?"

Ryuu looked up at the door and heard Cardea's voice. A soft smile came across his face. "Yes, I'm in here Cardea. You may come in." He set his coffee on a side table and layed his book down flat next to it. His red eyes trailed over to Ryuk who was standing in the corner. Ryuu raised an eyebrow at him; Ryuk looked away and nibbled on his apple. 'I wonder whats up...' Ryuu pondered his thought eyeing the door.
