 A blizzard raged through winters kingdom as she called order to the fae in her castle. "Calm fae we must discuss this rationally." She said her voice booming over the room, "Frost is bringing Flame so we must stay calm so as not to excite him." All calmed and looked to their leader for instructions, "First we must calm this blizzard, Winter is not due for 3 cycles still." "But my Queen the world should reflect our dismay." A small voice called out from the crowd. Winter shook her head, "No child, the world should know the strength of the winter court to fight winter back." She replied. "Even the other courts are feeding into our sorrow." Another replied. Winter sighed and closed her eyes, "We will keep winter back until it is due. Until then you are all the stay in the search groups I have ordered and move out when needed. The nightingale group should be returning soon have food and rest areas prepared for them. Nightscream group, be ready to leave as soon as they return." Winter said and stood from her chair. "There will be no more discussions about winter pushing forward until my nephew arrives, it is between us that the decision will be decided.

Spring flew away, making sure no one was watching, and started to follow Frost.
"pssst." She whispered. "Frost! Take me with you. I'm afraid to be alone lest I be taken as well! I want to fight with you!"

"Spring, what makes you want tot fight." Frost had brought Spring back to his tower. "You know that the fighting is usually left for me and Flame."

 "Mother the search party has come back" Evernight said rushing into the room "They have some news" Behind Evernight came a group of sorrow looks. The leader of the group by the name of Lantos lingered to the front. "I'm... I'm sorry Miss Winter... nothing. The weather is to strong. It is heading straight for us from the north. We tried to continue but we simply cannot. I'm sorry"
Evernight looked at her mother concerned as she began to imagine the worst case scenarios.

Winter stood. "Summon Frost. We shall go together and see where this wind is blowing." She said and walked towards her chambers, "Call for me when he is here." She said dissapearing into a hallway.

Evernight consented to her mothers wishes. She closed her eyes and concentrated. "Frost... Cousin we need you. Please come quickly"

Frost recieved the summons. "Spring, we must continue this conversation later. If you know where it is, go to Flame's tower, see if he's there." He moved quickly to the top of his tower and summoned his fragile wings of ice. He flew as fast as he could to Winter. Upon arriving, he went straight to his aunt's rooms. Bursting through the door, he said, "I have bad news and worse news, which would you like to hear first?"

"I don't think we could take anymore bad news" Evernight said quietly as she walked to her mother's side and put her hands on her shoulder "But we must, what is it dear cousin"

"Good to see you nephew." Winter said turning to face him. She was sitting in a chair next to a fireplace blowing cold winds. "I have a place I wish you to accompany me. We will be heading to the blizzard zone to see what has been scaring my court. Only high fae made of winter and ice such as yourself and I can make it through the blizzard. Tell me your news and we shall leave." She said and sat patiently waiting. "Evernight, you head towards Autumn."

"Alright, so you're getting the bad news first. Spring wants to fight. The worse news is that we may have to let her. Flame hasn't answered my summons. I'm beginning to get extrememly worried." Frost's face was a calm mask, but his ice blue eyes betrayed him. They were frozen over with concern.

"Spring is the youngest of our ruling seasons." Winter said thoughtfully, "She may be young but she wouldn't be ruling if she weren't strong. We will discuss this further with her when we return. Spring fighting may not be the bad news you thought it would be." She said thoughtfully and stood from her chair, "We will go to her when we return, winter is no place for the warmer fae." She whispered.
The two left heading towards the blizzard zone through a shield of ice.

"Alright Aunt Winter, she should be inside of my tower, and if she's not there, then she's in Flame's tower." Frost's frail wings once again appeared and he took flight.

Summer yawned. She headed outside and began to make her way back to her tower. However, while passing through the gate that surronded her tower, snow began to blow in. She looked around, her blonde hair twisting around her body. "What's going..." she wondered aloud, blinking against the cold and snow getting caught on her eyelashes. Summer jumped into the air and made her way to Winter's tower.
As Summer arrived there, she was chilled to the bone. "W-W-Winter. W-W-Why i-is there sn-snow a-a-at my t-t-t-tower?" asked the shivering fae. She clutched her arms to her sides and listened to the chatter of her teeth.

 Evergreen paced the tower, anger bubbling up her throat and spilling out in a torrent of curses towards those who had taken her little Thistle. She paced over to a chest at the end of her bed and threw the lid up, pulling out the finest armor she owned, placing it onto her bed. It was very old, silver with an intricate bronze decal. The bronze created an evergreen forest across a silvery night sky, a truly beautiful sight. She ran her hand over it, wiping away the dust and then turning toward her window. The snow billowed around her tower and left her slightly confused. She spread her wings and took flight, her wings beating furiously against the cold wind in her search to find Lady Winter. In her search she spotted Frost and whipped around to catch up. "What is going on?! Its not the snow season yet!"
