Gem appears in through the front door with a smile upon her face. Carefully, she sets down a plateful of chocolate cookies on the small desk by the window. The sweet smell of chocolate drifts throughout the small room and brings a smile from the cookie lovers. Later, gem trots off to get some napkins from the closet.

Turning to watch the girl with delight, she rises and helps herself to a cookie as she inhales with appreciation. Muching quietly as she returns to re-kneel on her furs, she is glad as always to see Gem.
That was well done, Gem! And your happy mood shines through!

Retuning with a stack of napkins, Gem gently places them next to the cookies. She walks toward Mahayr-sama, swinging her arms back and forth. "Thank you very much!" Gem says, bowing her head. "I appreciate your willingness to accept this apprentice as your mentee." Gem begins to bow a deep bow, but she appears uneasy. "Thank you, Mahayr-sama!" she exclaims with all her heart.
What does it mean to "re-kneel on her furs"? What kind of room are we in? (Inn, school setting) And thank you for your compliment. ^_^ I hope to improve with your help!

Watching her approach, she smiles warm welcomes to Gem, dabbing her lips gently with the small linen she keeps in her bodice. She laughs softly at the girl's obvious enthusiasm, such a bright spark.
Bowing slightly from the waist she rises and straightens her back, her hands folding into their usual place in her lap.
Oh, I am sure you will be my joy. Do not be nervous, I find you a pleasure, a delight, and a breath of fresh air, you will be doing me as much, if not more, of a service than I will be you.
Come... sit with me.
Patting her furs with one hand, she smiles again, happier inside than she may appear on her almost-always serene outside.

I was already kneeling, then I got up, and so when I went back, I kneeled again (re-kneeled). I keep furs to kneel on, as opposed to sitting either cross-legged on the floor or a rug, or in a chair. I sometimes recline, but rarely.
Kneeling in the Japanese style, and here... wearing a kimono or other robes.
The room is more like an Inn than a school. There is a fireplace, windows, a kitchen and other rooms. I should just say we are at the Dragon's Heart Inn, and leave it at that. My home... for so very long.
Although here, we can mix OOC and RP, whereas in the main areas we would not.
I have a very difficult time RP'ing in more than one where at a time, it is taking me some getting used to, a forum RP setting. I am more accustomed to at-the-moment, real-time, play as you go right now, RP. Its faster, more intense, preserves a mood, and ends when you leave, actually leave, instead of sitting there and picking up hours, days, weeks later.
I find it a tad un-nerving, but I can maintain it here, at the least, and anywhere with Sqarr. That good for nothing Vagabond is slow in responding I need to throw a fit! HAHAHAHA.

Assuming it would be disrespectful to not kneel, Gem sits on her heels and straightens out her long blue dress with a smile.

OOC: Meh.. the scrifice is not too much. It is sort of an IC Representation of the OOC Gift that she gives me once a month.. I do appreciate it and such, for it means I do not have to work as hard to get letters each month. I know that I will get one free as long as I stay on Her good side. I pay for the rest of them though.
I still say that he needs to hold an auction to help Her raise funds. He is truely talented... and it is a shame she doesn't take full advantage of the tools at her use but.. that is her perogative... anyway... If yah come down the path the eagle might stop you...
He pokes Mahayr "Or Glove!" He wants to RP with Glove some more.. "She is the coolest or your shards I think." biggrin

And I am having computer problems. Again. But I should be able to get on almost every day. Unless HE is working on HIS and then I will not be able to, and my hours are dreadful...
