Same. It's not the water I fear, it's what I can't see in the water. Kind of similar to the "I'm not afraid of the dark, but what's in the dark..." thing.

It bugs me at the beaches here, the stingrays make a shadow spot in the water... looks creepy.

That article about "the bloop" scares me witless for some reason. sweatdrop I've always had a fear of deep, dark water that I can't see to the bottom of. I guess the idea that something that huge could be hiding down there unnerves me a little.

I have a connection with water and the ocean, so that doesn't really fear me. I just fear the strange creatures in the water O.o;
The bloop is actually really interesting. The sound at normal speed is creepy as hell but when it's sped up to 16 times the normal speed it really does sound like just a big "Bloop". It's cute and kinda cool.

Wheres the origonal?
