Catherine made a face and sighed, oh well she knew Duke would be asking for her cold remedy as soon as they got home. With a free hand she took an extra blanket and used it to cover Rhad's lap, giving him more warmth. " Um yeah.. there is at elast three more canisters of soup, a few loafs of bread, fruit, veggies, juice, a few sandwhiches, and more fish for Bax."
Aphrodite finished her meal, being she had a full belly she made her way over to Baxterfullous and flopped onto his back.
Being that Aphrodite weighed only a few ounces the weight didn't really bother him. He continued to eat, finishing off his champange and salmon dish.
Smiling down at Cato, Catherine kissed his nose gently. Closing the jar, she took a warm bottle of blood, doing the same charm she did before making it squiggle and wiggle inside the glass bottle.
Feeling a bit cold, she took one of the many extra blankets she held inside her basket and used it own her lap and Cato. Leaning against the tree she tried to see if the fussy baby would drink.
It didn't take long for Nariko to finish her rice pudding. Letting out a big belch she crawled away and off the blanket. Pushing herself up she stood, running off in tthe direction of the farm! ...Only to fall face first into a pile of snow. "Oof!"
Catherine gaped at the sight! "Nariko! She blinked and let out a sigh of relief relizing she was unharmed.

Salem smiled as he trotted after the twins, looking down at the young horses. "I'll remember to bring them then. In fact I have a centaur that's already looking forward to coming. I'll bring him, I'm sure he'd love to meet you. Well, hello there! Aren't you two pretty! What are their names?" He blinked over at King. He slipped off his leather jacket to reveal a blue hoodie under that, reaching up and gently draping it on the twins back side so King could enjoy the warmth of a pre-heated jacket. He was of course very careful not to get himself bitten, used to dealing with babies with many very sharp teeth. "That better King?"
The spider mishap whined softly as the bottle came close until he noticed it move. Oh. Never mind then! And so he latched onto the bottle and chewed on the rubber almost viciously.

Duke arched his brows as he saw the baby run off only to fall. "Don't worry.. I got her." Getting up he took the blanket that was on Rhad's lap shifting it a bit so he was warmer.
Rhad didn't complain as soon as Duke got up from his sitting place he laid down, nuzzling the warmth that was left behind.
Duke sighed making his way over to Nariko, picking her up from where she had fallen. "You ok Popcicle?" He laughed a bit dusting the snow off her.

Nariko blinked, she looked confused and surprised. Woah she went fast! But unforntuatly she didn't know how to stop. "Boo."
Catherine laughed a bit at the look on Nariko's face. Releived that her baby was safe she turned her attention back onto Cato, rocking him as he chewed viciously on the bottle. She hummed quietly, kissing the top of his head again.
Garreth finished the last of his lunch, he was a bit full, but he knew that feeling would go away soon and he'd be hungry again. He sniffed about looking inside the basket. "Mama, can I take some treats to Salem?" He sniffed again. "I bet he's hungry too..."
Catherine blinked, " Well.. I did have some snacks in there I made for him." she blushed, reaching over with a free hand she pulled out a few tupperwares filled with sandwhiches and cookies and a canteen filled with hot cocoa wrapped in cloth.
Without hesitation Garreth took the wrapped parcel in his mouth and made his way to the horse stable. Stopping for a moment, it smelled funny. Shrugging he made his way over, the eightfoot long baby dragon smiled with his parcel, balancing carefully on his hind leggs he tugged lightly on Salem's pant leg with his draconic hand. Then dropping the parcel gently to the ground. "Salem! Salem! Mama made you something special." He blushed smiling happily.

The multi-armed baby cooed softly as he was kissed once again, enjoying his meal and all the attention he was getting. He could get used to this... Happily he continued to knaw on the bottle, cuddling to all the warmth as well as his teddy.
Salem blinked and looked down at what had tugged at his pants. "Oh, Gar'! How's it... Oh. Tell her I say thank you and send her a kiss would you, Gar-kiddo? Thanks for bringing it on over." He sat himself down on the ground with his back to the stable wall, opening up the cloth and peeking inside the containers. "Heh... She's too good to me... You two hungry by the way?" He looked up at the twins as he started to munch on one of the sandwiches, offering a second one to them.

A low growl started in King's throat as Salem approached, but it quickly died down. The tyrannosaur gave the man a confused look as the warm jacket was draped over him. Ah, a nice man! King chuffed and gave Salem an affectionate nudge with his muzzle as if to say thank you, then relaxed back into Rex. He's a happy t-rex then, that he was.
Tell the kind man I say thank you.
Rex smiled, and turned to Salem. "King says thank you, mister." The boy turned back towards the horses again, and waved at the black foal. "Him is Three Point Shot, and the brown one, she is Autumn Star. We just call them Shooter and Star." The boy grinned and waved to Jay, who waved back and nodded a greeting to Salem.
"And Jay is carer for the horses." The boy added, nodding. Just then, a small, talking green dragon grabbed his attention and the boy tore away from the stall to peer down at it with interest. Ah, food? He wasn't hungry and started to refuse the offer, but King, who had seen the sandwich, was. So... yeah.
"Thank you." Rex accepted the offered sandwich with a smile, and settled down beside Salem. The food was passed behind him and it disappeared soon after in the jaws of King.

Garreth smiled sweetly, peering up at the very tall T-Rex boy. "Hi, are you a dragon?" He made his way over towards Salem, resting his head in that cat folk's lap. "I'm a dragon. My mama's is Aff-dite's mama." He grinned a bit and looked up at with his large green eyes. " She's my liddle big sissie."

Rex peered down at the little dragon, and shook his head, smiling. "Nope. I'm a mishap. King is t-rex, so we're not dragons." The boy grinned at Garreth as the dragon did so at him, nodding. Ah, so Aphrodite and this dragon were siblings?

He stared for a moment, but his smile never faltered. "Oh you a mishaps?" He blinked, registering the word. "Aff-dite is a mishap, so tiny." He nuzzled Salem a bit happy to be out of the cold. The word T-rex then caught his attention. "Dino! That's so cool. "

He smiled as the dinosaur settled. "He's welcome. So," He looked over his shoulder at the horses, "these are Shooter and Start then? Nice names." He blinked over at Jay and spotted the nod, smiling and politely nodding back. "I'm sure he takes real good care of them." He watched as the boys settled down next to him, smiling as King ate what he had offered. "You're welcome."
Gently he patted Garreth on the head once it was settled into his lap before scratching him under the chin. He couldn't help, but chuckle softly as he watched the two talk, it was cute. This was the first time he had met the twins and he had to say that he really liked them. Very sweet children indeed.
Back outside, Cato was slowly starting to grow sleepy, mummbling softly as he pulled away from the bottle. His tummy was comfortably full and now it was time for a nap. This was a good a place as any and so he nuzzled up against Catherine and started to doze off.

" Yeah, Popcicle went boom" He grinned, standing up fully holding her in his arm. " You need to calm down or you might run off and hit something a little harder than snow." He said gently as he walked back towards the others. As soon as he reached the small picnic he blinked, it seemed everyone was falling asleep.
Leonie blinked a bit, looking up at Duke. "Rhad fell asleep, but I'm ok!" She grinned, a bit confused why he older brother was fell asleep. "... Duke.. you think he's sick?"
Duke furrowed his brows. "He might be. he was out in the cold without a sweater for most of the day, I think he tried to spite me in some way but karma bit him in the butt." Duke knelt down to touch Rhad's forehead. "Hmmm.. he's warm. Cat, I think we should be heading back, I dun'wanna get the other kids sick. Leonie you stay here with Catherine, I'm taking Rhad home early."
"Umm.. ok?" She blinked, she waited a moment as then a mishchevious smile appeared on her face.
Duke blinked, looking at her blankly. "Don't disobey aunitie Cat or you'll hear from me." Placing Nariko down next to Catherine.
She gulped. "Promise!"
"I'll leave the book back here, it's got some of your toys and my contact numbers in case of an emergency." He wrapped Rhad up in the blanket he had over him, picking him up. "You gonna be ok by yourself?"

Catherine blinked a moment, a bit bewildered by the rush of things. "Umm sure... I think I can handle the kids. I'm not by myself. " She blinked adjusting the weight of the sleeping Cato in her lap, tucking the blanket around him so that he was warm. "I can make you my cold remedy if you like, or you can buy a cure diesease from the general store. " She blinked grabbing Nariko by the seat of her pants as she started to wander off again.
Aphrodite blinked, rolling onto her back to look up at the sky. The falling snow looked pretty. "Mama can we build a snow man now?"
Catherine blinked. "Um, sure. Leo, how about you play with Nariko and Aphrodite over by the snowpile that's near the fishtank."
Nariko blinked as she was stopped, wiggling she was then released. Standing up and running off only to fall in the same pile a snow once more. "PAH!"
" I like dinos..." He purred as his chin was scratch. "My favorite dinosaur is a pachysephalosaurus and a phororhacos!" He giggled nuzzling into Salem. " Pachysephalosaurus's are cool cuz they can ram things like big ram goats! And Phororhacos's look like chocobos! I like video games too."

"Pachys, huh? They're... okay." Rex nodded, though in his heart held a different opinion - pachys look awfully silly with their 'helmet' heads. But hey, he's not going to go around breaking a small dragon's heart.
As for phororhacos, he wasn't sure it was even a dinosaur. A prehistoric bird perhaps? He'd have to check with Mother.
"I like the raptors," the boy added, nodding. "They're awesome beasts, they are." Rex's eyes started to take on a glazed over effect as images of feathered dromaeosaurids travelling together in a hunting pack flashed before his eyes. He was one of them - in fact, he was the one leading the hunt...

"The phororhacos isn't a dinasaur Garreth. It's a flightless bird of the Miocene period. That was 30 million years ago, 35 million years after the dinosaurs." He smiled down at the little dragon, knowing how much he loved to learn new things. Next he looked up at Rex again and smiled, "So you like raptors huh? What kind? Velociraptor, Utahraptor, Deinonychus, Oviraptor...? There's many different kinds you know." He spoke as sweetly as he did to Rex as he had to Garreth. He didn't seem to be taunting him at all. He actually seemed to be interested in knowing. "And what about King? Which does he like best?"
Cato slept on quietly, licking his lips in his sleep.

"Huh? No, not oviraptor. All but ovis." Rex shook his head, before looking down at Salem. "Mom loves the small velocis. I, prefer the deinos." A pause. "And the bigger ones, Achillobators and Utahraptors."
The boy nodded solemnly. He blinked at the man's next question, and which there was a loud huff from King in a 'duh'-like manner. There was a brief exchange between the twins, after which Rex spoke in a semi-haughty manner - the haughtiness, from King.
"King likes no other dinosaurs but his own kind."
Just then, Jay's voice could be heard behind the stall walls. "Ready yourself to leave, Rex. I'm almost done here." It wasn't a question or a command, but Rex did not argue.
