I work primarily with the Norse pantheon, but I have a few other favorites, too. I tend to stay away from the Greek pantheon, I have no definite reason, just a rather strong intuitive feeling that the Greek pantheon would be a bad choice for me.

AG can tell you my interest has launched into the Greek pantheon.
When i first started searching the most I knew about was the Egyptian pantheon and Hindu. When i came back to searching after a break, Native American was my choice, but the Greek have demanded a bigger presence. Especially Apollo, Gaia knew I was going to come around and realize her existence and influence in my life eventually and was patient, Apollo though has been in and out until recently lol

Though I'm devoted to Yeshua's God, I do have an interest in the Greek pantheon. While I don't technically have prohibitions against worshiping other Gods, I do have prohibitions against becoming enslaved by other Gods. I'm honestly ignorant of how relationships with the Greek Gods work though. Maybe someone here could give me some more information on it. I have some personal preference toward Athena, Aphrodite, and Hades

I'm interested in all of the pantheons, but I've mostly worked with Egyptian and Greek deities. Specifically, Dionysus and Athena from the Greek Pantheon, Hathor and Sekhmet from the Egyptian pantheon (I consider them separate deities), and Brigid from the Celtic pantheon. There are a lot of others I'm interested in (such as Cernunnos, from the Celtic pantheon), but it's hard to find information on them, aside from very basic things.

I know this is late - but there's actually jack all about Cernunnos that we know. There are a few pictures and his name written twice. That's it. Annoying eh?

I've been interested in the Greek gods most of my life, and Apollo was the first god I really connected with. So I'm still devoted to them even though I'm finding myself drawn to Norse gods now, and I think I'll always make room for them in my worship. Specifically, I was/am drawn to Apollo, Hestia, and Hera. Also Ariadne and Dionysus, but more the Minoan versions of them, which makes it difficult to do much since most of what is "known" about them is really speculation.
In terms of the Norse gods, it is mostly Frigg who interests me right now, but enough so to make me want to know more about the rest of her pantheon. I don't know much yet, though, since I never had any interest in Norse culture before. I've also become more interested in that recently because looking a little into my family history and my partner's, it's likely that we both had ancestors in that area who would have worshiped them, making it probably the closest thing to an ancestral religion for me. But I'm less sure about that and really just interested because I like them.

Something about Obin not liking being compared to Zeus or some such.
Have you run across anything of the sort in your studies?

That's interesting. I've never thought of Odin and Zeus as having much in common, and I can see why he might not like that. It's not something I've really come across, but it's hard to say because I don't actually combine them. In some cases, I've gotten a feeling that there is room for comparison and they might be ok with being mentioned/worshiped in the same or a similar context, but in general I keep them separate. Even in the cases where I feel it would be ok, I also think that there should be some caution, enough that I haven't actually felt comfortable combining them yet beyond noting similarities for myself. I'm not sure if that's because I've heard from others not to mix pantheons and it's become ingrained or if it is indeed that the gods in question don't want it and are making that known, but either way it's not something I do. Currently, I only have one altar, and I rearrange it for various rituals so that only one pantheon is represented. My ideal situation for when I have more space would be to have separate altars, so that at times when it seems fitting to me to honor deities from both pantheons that share areas of influence, I can do that at nearly the same time without having to either combine them or rearrange the altar so soon. Again, I don't know if that's just my weird hang-up or if others have similar practices, but it's what feels right for now.

It's wise not to mix them 3nodding I think Ren was just interested in your experiences and whether you might have any input on that matter.
