I have been playing the Violin for 4 years and
And I love it
And I plan to keep playing it
I play 1st but my teacher (who plays the Bass)
Switch's us a lot
Im also in 1st chair

I'm a violinist and I have been for seven years now. Currently, I'm a sophmore.
In my orchestra class, I get moved around a lot, but I'm a first. I'm one of the four Concertmaster/mistresses, since we get a different one each quater. Basically, it means I'm one of the best in my grade.
In Chamber Orchestra, I'm still a first and I'm second stand. I have the best standpartner there. We completely understand the "Unwritten Rules of Standpartnership".
I'm also in a youth orchestra. There...well...I'm a second. I think it's cause:
a) it's my first year with them
b) they only gave me a week for the audition music where everyone else got a month
c) it's a lot of who you know and how much you can pay. I know nobody and can't pay much.
My orchestra class is completely amazing. We beat out many orchestras from surrounding states at our competion, including the junior/senior orchestra! (This was last year, we suck badly this year.) Chamber just kicks a** basically. The youth orchestra sounds like a bunch of pros.
I'm learning how to read viola music thanks to my boyfriend. heart

Hi, I'm Angel
I'm a Sophomore and I'm a Cellist/String Bassist. One of few Female Bassists, and I love it. I get to show the guys that girls can play Bass just as good as they can and 10 times better! (Sorry Guys)

I Love Orchestra!!! I'm a 1st violinist at my school. I love playing so much. Next year I am not taking AP spanish so that i can stay in orchestra. I have a really amazing orchestra teacher who is really dedicated. Orchestra is my favorite class and I'm also in Choir. biggrin

I've played violin since.... three years, almost four....
love every second of it
Sucks though that most of my friends play cello (not that there's anything wrong with that-- it's just the seating) so we're always on the opposite side of the room...

I'm a freshman, First chair of the Violin 2 section ... I'm only a beginner though xD
I want to get as good as I can ^-^ I LOVE my orchestra.. although I wish half the people in it would give more into it ;[ Sadly, More than half hate orchestra their only in it because they were forced >o> We have an AMAZING conductor .. Sadly he doubles up for orchestra and marching band/ concert band .... He cares more for the band of pride than us its beyond true >o> he spends so much time with them and leaves us basically on our own and more than half of us are straight beginners so its pretty tough to get by and that fact makes the band kids at my school cocky they hate us for no reason and make fun of us for " Being lame" o-o but our conductor says we have an amazing sound just for beginners ^-^ and we'll sounds amazing come the end of the year ^-^
P.S. We have districts next week thursday ;o;
But we're only going for comments not rates mainly because we only finished getting threw one piece ;o; ( because he forgot to give us our other sheet music in time o.x )
