It's Wobbuffet. I like Buizeru Perappu and especially Tamanta. heart The Dungeon games look good to me, I like the games but I have to admit they have very little plot. This one looks different. Odd that even though Pokemon seems to have died out, all these new games are coming out.

3 new Pokémon from Diamond and Pearl have just been revealed: Attack-wise, Serebii reports that one of the new moves in Diamond and Pearl is Aqua Jet - a water-element version of Quick Attack. Since Serebii.net has sources in Japan, right now, they're the best source for news on the upcoming games. sweatdrop TRHQ can only cover and report whatever we discover on official Japanese sites.

Team Rocket HQ +Pokémon Garden (Online)+ There is a free online Japanese Pokémon game with GBA graphics at http://pokemon.kids.yahoo.co.jp/dp/garden/garden.html
It's an awesome game. Whether or not you understand Japanese won't really restrict you too much. You can create a trainer name (English alphabet available). Your trainer can be anyone - Team Rocket/Magma/Aqua, a thief, cooltrainer, etc.
+Pokémon DP: Seasons?+ It is rumored that Pokémon Diamond and Pearl may have seasonal changes. For example, Swinub is an Ice-type, so you'd be able to encounter one during the winter. Along with various times of the day, this new feature makes the world of Pokémon much more interactive.
+Pokémon Diamond & Pearl Videos!+ Watch a video of a female trainer walking through a town in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl: http://pokemon.kids.yahoo.co.jp/dp/news/story/story002/story002.html?page=1
Here's a video of Team Galaxy - http://pokemon.kids.yahoo.co.jp/dp/news/story/story006/story006.html?page=1
Here's a video of the new rival - http://pokemon.kids.yahoo.co.jp/dp/news/story/story007/story007.html?page=2
Here are battles where the trainer uses Lucario. It shows how the dual screens work on DS - http://pokemon.kids.yahoo.co.jp/dp/news/system/system004/system004.html?page=0
+3 new Pokémon from Diamond and Pearl have just been revealed+ US names haven't been released yet..

+Diamond and Pearl Attacks+ Serebii.net reports that Lucario can learn Detect and Quick Attack. New attacks like Aqua Jet will appear in these new games. Aqua Jet is a water-element version of Quick Attack. Visit Serebii.net for more information on new techniques.
Pokémon DS Bonuses Using the wireless function on Nintendo DS with various Pokémon games can help unlock a lot of bonuses. For example, if you pass information through two Pokémon Trozei games, you receive an 'agent card' with name and information of partners. When Pokémon Trozei and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Force are connected, you can obtain a special coin in Trozei to enter a new stage where you challenge Mr. Hu.
Pokémate Square Enix and Pokémon joint effort to create Pokémate for cell phones still is only available in Japan for a fee of 210 yen a month.

Some Notes on Diamond and Pearl The new villains in Diamond and Pearl are called Team Galaxy. The two legendaries on the box art for the games are Diaruga who has power over space (Diamond Version) and Parukia who has power over time (Pearl Version).
New Pokémon Anime Series Japanese audiences will watch a new series of Pokémon this fall which chronicles the journeys of the female character from Diamond and Pearl.
Japan Reserves Diamond and Pearl When you reserve Pokémon Diamond and Pearl in Japan, you'll receive one of the following figures of the legendary Pokémon found on the box art. http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/1940/figuzr0.png
Diamond/Pearl Commercial Watch the Diamond and Pearl commercial in Japan, uploaded by chaoswarchild of YouTube.com at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXqZ8TlaaNs
A new Pokémon which may be the evolution of Electabuzz has been revealed http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/2442/untitledkf2.png
Pokémon TCG World Tournament If you live in the California area, consider going to the official world championships. 400 players and over 30 countries will be represented. For more details, visit http://www.op.pokemon-tcg.com/content/
If you ever consider joining a TCG tournament, know that the prizes are definately well worth it. Thousands of dollars in cash, scholarship,s and more. Video game tournaments give away free trips to Japan, cash, art, and much more. So if you're just sitting at home and playing with your siblings, consider entering a tournament. You could win big.
Free Online Programs Want to experience the advanced metagame and learn about the hidden factors you never thought existed in the game? How about honing your skills in Pokémon TCG without wasting cash? There are plenty of free online programs that allow you to do this.
First off, we have Pokémon NetBattle. It's an online program with GBA graphics that allows you to play in any mode (RBY, GSC, Advanced), with any team, etc. It's the entire battle system down - 100% accurate to the game. You can battle anyone around the world - England, Brasil, Canada, France, Australia - everyone's on NetBattle. Test your skills against some of the greatest and worst players on the globe. Prepare yourself for a battle experience like no other to awaken you to the true metagame. Download it at http://www.smogon.com/nb/ ~ I wouldn't recommend NetBattle for people under 15. It requires somewhat of a mature mind to understand the atmosphere and all the revealed battle tactics and systems.
Next we have Pokémon TCG Apprentice. Battle anyone online, download new card decks, devise strategies, and more. Visit http://www.pokebeach.com/apprentice.shtml to download it and find a community of people looking to battle online.
Pokémon Crater has their own Pokémon RPG at http://pokemoncrater.com/ - sign up, select and name your trainer, then journey forth to battle others. There are thousands of people, literally, in this so there's lag and it's crowded. Also, the battle system is very basic and is nothing compared to the actual games.
Another attempt at a Pokémon game simulator is at http://tppcrpg.net/ It's another site that's just for fun though. It's easy to navigate through but they have a lot of inaccurate things when compared to the game - ie: Bulbasaur using Surf - impossible.
http://pokemonol.net/ will be releasing their own online Pokémon game soon. It's still being tested so I can't tell you anything about the battle system however they've made trainer sprites and world maps and travel and chat is easy.
None are authorized by Nintendo, but don't worry, they're not illegal nor will they cause viruses.
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team (GBA), Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team (DS) Both games are expected for release on September 18, 2006 and cost $34.99. I've already given details on the plot, items, and more in previous issues so if you're looking for even more details on this or any other topic in this newsletter, visit www.trhq.co.nr
Contest - SUBSCRIBERS ONLY!!! The first 3 people to identify this Pokémon (spelling counts) win 400g each: Pokémon of the Week: Pikachu
I hate it. A yellow, electric rodent who's pretty much the slogan for Pokémon. Pikachu does a good job making people think Pokémon is all about cuddly creatures who are adorable and only offer something for small children to enjoy playing. Pikachu, despite his looks though, isn't pathetic at all when it comes to battle ever since the GSC generation. I guess Nintendo needed to beef up Pikachu's value from the original series.
What you're about to learn next may shock you. Raichu, the evolution of Pikachu, is pathetically weak in comparison to Pikachu. Yeah, Pikachu is much more powerful than Raichu. A little invention called the Light Ball caused this change. It doubles Pikachu's special attack. It's like a 90 point difference.
To get the Light Ball, either capture many Pikachu or steal from them, eventually you'll find one.
In FireRed or LeafGreen, go to the Power Plant. Find a level 24 Pikachu with these stats: Nature: Timid HP: 58 Attack: 34 Defense: 26 Sp. Attack: 36 Sp. Defense: 31
[Training] Feed Pikachu 10 Carbos and 10 Calciums. Battle 152 Pidgey. Battle 152 Gastly. Then battle 6 Caterpie. (If you have a Macho Brace on, you only have to battle half of those numbers. So with a Macho Brace, you only need to fight 76 Pidgey, 76 Gastly, and 3 Caterpie). Pikachu must defeat them alone. No switching or exp.share. That screws up your training and stats. Use rare candies ONLY AFTER YOU'VE FINISHED ALL THOSE BATTLES.
[Moveset] Thunderbolt Thunderwave Protect Quick Attack
Protect is a good opening move. You take no damage and you find out what your opponent is going to use. Thunderbolt will deal extreme damage with such high special attack thanks to the Light Ball and STAB (same type attack bonus). Quick Attack helps to handle anything that uses Endure. Things like Heracross or Blaziken tend to use Endure to pull of Reversal which can wipe out your entire team if you're not careful. Pikachu has horrible defenses. If you know your opponent is going to use a physical attack, I'd suggest you switch out.Pokémon of the Week: Wobbuffet
Capture a level 27 Wobbuffet with these stats..
Nature: Bold, Relaxed, or Impish HP: 147 Defense: 48 Special Defense: 44 (Those are the only stats that matter - Attack, S.Attack, and Speed are useless for Wobbuffet)
[Training] 252 EVs in HP, 129 EVs in defense, 129 EVs in S.Defense. Feed Wobbuffet 10 Iron, 10 Zinc, and 10 Hp Ups. Equip the Macho Brace. Battle 76 Whismur. Remove the Macho Brace. Battle 29 Duskull or Clamperl, then battle 29 Tentacool.
[Moveset] Item: Leftovers -Counter -Mirror Coat -Encore -Safeguard
[Strategy] Wobbuffet's trait is Shadow Tag. This means your opponent can't switch out - they're trapped in the battle as long as Wobbuffet is in play. Safeguard protects Wobbuffet and the entire team from status problems. Use Encore to trap your foe into using only one move. I'll give you an example - let's say your opponent uses Surf. That's a special attack. You used Encore. He or she is forced to use Surf now up to 5 more times. They can't switch out. Since they're using Surf, you know to use Mirror Coat and deal double damage back - easily KOing them. Same thing with Counter for physical attacks. Simple, no? Wobbuffet's high HP and Leftovers should ensure it can't be taken down easily at all. Wobbuffet is so annoying and destructive that most people who battle online ban it from being used.

Yeah, sorry. Well, I quit Gaia today. It was great chatting with you all and I hope you all continue to stay active here and enjoy everything the guild has to offer. Check out the box art for Pokémon Diamond and Pearl as well as battle screenshots of the most recently released new monsters.. The games are expected for release in Japan on September 28th and should be in the US in December or January. Look for Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red/Blue Rescue Force for GBA and DS coming out in the US on 9/18/06 for $34.99. It's definately something to pick up.
