Dimitri sighed and looked down at his hooves in deep thought, "I don't know what it felt like... at the time I was shocked out of feeling anything really..." He paused and replied sternly, "And my mask stays on, that is my final word on the subject!" After a moment though, he continued, replying with a strange sort of gentle kindness in his voice, "Plus, you don't need to see my face to know whether or not you should leave... because trust me, you would have been able to tell rather easily if I wanted you to leave..." Dimitri looked back up at Poppins, "And we were having such a pleasant stroll, it would be a shame to let it end on such terms..."

When Dimitri answered so harshly about his mask Poppins stepped back and a tear grew in her eyes, " i was just commenting that it's hard to read you, Your body language says so much differently then your voice, Eyes are true windows," she sighed. "You must speak of how you feel because I cannot read you, I want to, and I'm trying very hard to, But you keep yourself so tense. Even Now, Your voice speaks kindness, but... I cannot understand your posture." she stepped forward ... " we were having such a lovely time i agree, but... i am feeling things, and i don't know what to do about them." she was SO confused... She KNEW what she did was wrong, and she did not understand WHY she did them. The Look of confusion was Spread across her face. She bowed her head " i don't know why i did what i did, but, if i must admit, I think i would do it again... It was different."

Dimitri sighed and turned his head towards Poppins, noticing the gleam in her eye, "Now now Poppins, don't cry! Don't let a big meany like me get you down. I am tense because being confused isn't exactly a relaxing sensation, you must agree..." He sighed and turned his head away, "Anyways, has is it come to mind that maybe I don't like being read like a book? Isn't is possible that that is the reason as to why I wear my mask? Listen, I don't want to offend you Poppins, but I am telling you plainly, my original reason for wearing this mask is entirely different than the reason I have for wearing it now. I am secretive and mysterious, and I am used to Soq just letting me have my way about my mask. The sooner you accept that you will not have as easy of a time reading me as you may have with others, the easier it will be for both of us to get along. I will not be changed Poppins..." Dimitri sighed again, rolling his shoulders and letting his feelings slip away again, allowing him to take control of the situation once more. "And you did nothing wrong, Poppins... I am only slightly upset because you didn't ask me if I wanted to. You gave me no warning and I am not one for surprises..."

Poppins listened to Dimitri carefully, "if you will not be changed, i guess it's I that must change," she trailed off as she mulled her words carefully, so as not to anger him again... " Do you regret me kissing you?" she looked into his eye holes... " Would you do it again?" her Questions were simple, yet the tone was obvious she was serious...

Dimitri stomped and replied worriedly, wishing the situation would lighten up a bit, "Now you are just being ridiculous! I am not trying to change you, you silly thing! What happened to the confident, self-assured, 'I won't take any crap from you' mare I was talking to just moments ago?!" He sighed and leaned forward slightly, as though wondering whether or not to get closer. Dimitri wished this weren't so complicated. He shrugged and answered, "No, I don't regret it... I mean, it was nice I guess... I just don't like moving that fast..." He paused and tilted his head slightly, "I guess I'd do it again, sometime... but... at least this time I'd have a bit more of a warning...!" Dimitri chuckled and shifted uncomfortably, he didn't really like how awkward this was getting...

Dimitri blinked with Poppin's sudden mood swing; he really never will fully understand women... He chuckled and shook his head, muttering under his breath, "That's my girl..." With a smirk he called out, "Oh you better watch it missy! I'll get you this time!" And with that, Dimitri began to chase Poppin's once more, in a game he never thought he'd play....
