"Phew," Frei gave a momentary sigh of relief. But what's this? He had been heading in the wrong direction? He groaned. This was no good. There were cursed everywhere. Where were the others supposed to go? "No I'm not one of them," he harrumphed, stomping a foot in irritation, and placing his hands on his hips. "What about you?" he questioned, raising an eyebrow, now in suspicion. He stepped forward through the brush, moving closer to the other twilif. "What's your name? I'm Frei. Perhaps....we can work together."

Ro'ark's growl softened, nodding slightly for he truly did believe this 'frei' character was being truthful. He really didn't look to be one of the nasty sort who lied about themselves. "I'm Ro'ark" he smirked snickering as he extended a hand "And no I'm not one of them, bah I'd rather singe off my own horns then join that lot...actually I know one who's needing his horns singed at the moment" maybe a good singeing would put aeos in his place, though he was no equal match for the powerful constellation.
"Work together huh.." ro'ark tilted his head slightly, eying frei for a moment before casting his glance over his shoulder to the battle field behind him. "We're opposites you do realize..still..you know what why not. The two of us together might stand a chance against this tide, and theres no way were getting out of the village without doing some killing first" the village and festival ruined filled with the monsters running amuck, the field filled with even more and the master's controlling said monsters. Truly they were all boxed in..

"Nice to meet you," Frei replied, taking hold of Ro'ark's hand and gave it a firm shake. "It's true, we're opposites, but maybe an odd paring is just what we need. Fire and water can still work together. At least....we can make a fog to hide in," Frei offered with a slight raw chuckle. "Perhaps we should find more to join us. And who is this who needs singeing?" the twilif asked, perplexed. "Do you know more about this? I saw how it started......but....."
All Frei knew was the cause of the plague. He had witnessed her spread the curse. And then all hell broke loose in the town. It was spreading like wild fire. Some were excepting the new found power, while others had tried to fight it, and lost.

"Dibs?" Rosel cast a glare up at Noctis with her unveiled eye. "Battle comes to those who initiate it, there are no dibs. Though your timing seems to be fairly accurate..." A smile twitched at her mouth and she stepped forward, observing the sparkling light that fell from the sky, reforming into a fluorescent Constellation near two others. Within moments it seemed a small crowd had gathered around them, a small attempt at organization amongst the chaos. "It seems our fashionably-late cavalry has finally arrived."
A small kettle newt attempted to slink by in the other direction. Without removing her gaze from their motley opponents in the distance, she allowed a stretch of lightning to circle her arm once and bolt down to the panicked creature. It gave a squeal of agony and nothing more. Placing her hands on her hips, she frowned as she made out several figures in the far group. A pirate, some delicate-looking thing in a kimono, the fluorescent one from earlier, and an odd green quadruped with...does that thing have a knife in it's mouth? There seemed to be odd pairs attempting to help each other in the periphery as well. The general population seemed to have been either killed or scared off, and most of what remained were either the mindless or in useless little alliances.
"Gentleman," Rosel began, lifting her hand and watching the lightning dance across it. "I do believe it's time to bring the stakes up just a bit." Casting her gaze back up to the largest group ahead of them, she focused on the Constellation in the kimono. Pretty, delicate, holding, of all things, a harp, and looking as out of place amongst the chaos as a porcelain doll. And about as useful. Snorting, she flicked her wrist and cast the slithering black lightning out towards her enemies.

Ro'ark gave a rare toothy grin, finding himself in agreement with frei..well it wasn't as if he had much choice in the matter, what few were still left alive needed protecting, and attempting something on his own seemed foolish. Yes dying was certainly not on his list of things to do in life. "Fog might be rather effective actually, not just for us either" joining him in his small laugh, slowly and sadly he shook his head, he knew hardly anything really.
"I wasn't there when the curse was released, sadly I know very little of what's going on from before and whats happening now" he shrugged softly casting a rather disheartened look to the ground, oh he wish he'd known more. "I do know one party who's responsible for this mess though, whether he directly started it or not. The accomplices should get off with no less then the leaders though, don't you think?" glancing out to the field again, to the small group that seemed to be gathering in force, questioning whether it was wise to be in such a large group..Bigger numbers meant easier targets after all..but it'd be easier to have ones back protected in a group then if they were scattered.. "Well stick together through this though..heck maybe it'll be fun" oh he doubted it.

"Accomplices are just as bad. We should take them out," Frei remarked, balling a fist, and gesturing emphatically. He followed Ro'ark's gaze to the group of people forming in the distance. "Well.....I suppose safety in numbers makes sense," he commented, watching them. "Do you suppose they need help?" Glancing over, he could see a figure surrounded by lightening moving towards the other group. "H-hey, do you see that?" he questioned, pointing at Rosel. "What's she doing? That...doesn't look good."
He contemplated calling out, but that would just give them away. "What should we do?

Noctis would have argued but the .. lack of enemies seemed to not interest him. He looked over in Rose's directed stare, frowns tugging the smirk off his face. He looked upon the small amount of heroes from a distance, an evaluated stare landed on each of them. What sort of enemies were these guys? Little baby soldiers on the side of good?
They were nothing but small fry. Almost hardly anything to take care of, it seemed. But nevertheless, small fry could become a nuisance if not taken care of. There was that green constellation that looked like she might pose some amusement.. Weak little thing too, from the looks of it. A blunt staff.. What, was she going to bash his head with it?
"For once, you and I may agree, lightning lady." Noctis didn't particularly care for her name, his rudeness was on purpose. "Let's amuse ourselves, shall we?" With a flourishing spin of both his hands, his guns twirled within his fingers and tucked the metal weapons in his pockets. He started behind Rose, traveling by burning rooftops, red eyes illuminated by the powerful orange glare of the flames.

"Thanks." Rhyme murmured at their newest arrival, the green constellation. Soon after, she noticed that several others heading in their direction. When had they grown to be an attraction spot? She gave a smile to Ikuto, knowing he disliked such crowds. His neutral expression was proof of this fact.
But they couldnt just leave. Surely.. where were their enemies? With such a commotion such as this, one of the groups was bound to notice each other by now. Ikuto and Rhyme stood back to back, staring at the chaos behind them. Rhyme stared ahead.. was that.. black lightning amongst the fire and debris? Whatever it was, it wasn't natural. Stringing her fingers rapidly amongst her golden harp, her other arm lifted as if to summon a wave of crystal, erecting a crystal barrier on one side, the side of approaching enemies, preventing the flame and elemental attacks from reaching them from the ground. Only one side was covered. But the bright rose crystal was now a give-away to their exact location.
"They're approaching." Ikuto informed her, having automatically put himself in front of her, staring at the two incoming constellations.
"A welcome party it is." Rhyme agreed, her harp dispersing in one hand leave her hands free to grip a sudden large crystal hammer.
"If we're lucky, they might even throw in some welcome freebies, don't you think?" She asked with a small smile, her hand flicking her long crimson hair to the back.

Rylia practically gasped when she heard someone's voice nearby, thinking maybe somewhat had seen her attack or even may have heard the branch that had fallen beneath her before. She stayed completely still, not moving an inch as she heard someone apologizing. "Is someone else nearby?" she thought with a grin as she moved just a few inches over and peered through the leaves noticing that there was indeed another twilef. "Lucky me...." she thought as she glanced up to see a grinning Kiru just above her head. She looked around, not sure what to do. Any sort of movement might catch both of their attentions. Talking to..or more like asking Kiru for advice was out of the question.
Quickly, she scanned the area just around her and slowly moved quietly around the tree about the branches until she figured she was on the opposite side. She stood on a branch on that side, making sure to stay alert for anything. Even while doing this, she listened to the other two as she slowly descended down from the tree and to the ground. She didn't have a choice, but at least there were bushes nearby and around the area that hadn't caught aflame that she could use to get a better look at the two groups or probably a better idea to a new tree to survey the groups from one point rather then attempting to sneak around. It seemed like a lot of work, but it was the best she could come up with.
Kiru sat next to Rylia as she stayed near a patch of bushes, watching..waiting until she felt it was safe to start moving. But before she would do so, she would listen to the twilef nearby. They seemed to be on to something. Any bit of information would be useful. The two were enough to grab her attention for a short while, but then something else, something far more interesting seemed to be happening. She looked towards the constellation and the pirate from before. Her eyes narrowed as she watched, not to worried since she blended quite well with the night.
But despite that, she wasn't going to relax nor let her guard down. It may have been an intention of hers to stay clear of this, but it seemed that wasn't going to happen. If she did for some reason with no way out but to join a side, then it would be best if she knew exactly who was who beforehand. "I wonder....just what is going to happen here...and if it will involve everyone including myself in the end" she thought to herself, watching as she kept Kiru in her line of sight. She may not be as powerful as the constellations of course, but Kiru was even less of a fighter..at least, that's what it seemed like.

Ro'ark nodded sternly, feeling rather excited by frei's agreement, the long haired twilif seemed rather eager to step into the mix, even if neither of them truly knew what they were getting themselves into. Tilting his head in a shrug, small ember eyes widening slightly as he followed freis gaze. Mouth dropping into a little 'oh' when he realized just what he was pointing at.."I almost wish I didn't see it" indeed it looked rather bad.
The sudden flash of crystal, the team defending themselves with some odd shining barrier. "I get the feeling..that they can handle themselves, and us joining them would only bring more attention to ourselves" ro'ark smirked patting frei roughly on the shoulder "We're going in though! Maybe we can help divert the attacks eh? Sides there's someone I'm hunting, and the pair of us might just be enough to handle the job..haha or at least thin the lines of these cursed monsters! Demented things, cant have them running about any longer."

"You're probably right. They are a big group after all. Let's look for these others of which you speak instead. We're sure to be able to do some damage if we work together," he confirmed. "Let's go. If you lead the way, I'll follow. And you can tell me more about them."
He wondered what kind of individual it was that Ro'ark was talking about. They sounded like your typical 'bad guys'. Why would anyone want to help spread this curse? Just look what it was doing to everyone! But that meant whoever it was probably nearby watching, if not participating.
"So...can you sense them around here? I'm sure if they're as you say, they haven't gone far. Probably sticking around, to watch the mess."

Seir watched Noctis and Rosel advance on a gathering of moonfolk to pick their own fights. “Pick it up a notch…” he considered the thought and shook his head lightly before flying back up into the air. The thief Constellation wasn’t going to ignore the chaos he had ignited in favor of one-on-ones with small time heroes. There were much more to take care of and the cursed moonfolk needed someone to guide them if things went wrong. Those two could take care of themselves. As long as they did not fall, Seir had nothing to worry about.
“Aeos!” He called, waving the icy Constellation over. The thief crossed his legs in the air tapped a clawed finger to a cheek in thought. The pretty, glowing accessories strewn over his head and body jingled and clinked together merrily. “There’s a lot to do, but back-up our allies. That’s important, isn’t it?” He glanced over at the group, where there was now a shiny crystal barrier. “You remember the harp-woman and the pirate, don’t you? Why don’t you pick a fight? I’m sure they’ll want a rematch from that time they visited us in the forest…”
“Seir…’ Aeos narrowed his eyes slightly, not quite sure what the older Constellation was planning. He couldn’t get a word in edge-wise with the way Seir was speaking. However, he wasn’t about to disobey his orders. “Be careful,” he murmured lowly. “There won’t be a point in this if you die. The world won’t remake itself if there’s no one to lead it.” He thought the words felt foreign on his tongue, but Seir was his king, his brother second.
He turned, wings arching beautifully before he settled his gaze upon the crystal barrier. The color and material was a dead giveaway on whose power it belonged to. There was only one. Aeos pressed his lips into a thin line and before he snapped a finger to form thin spear-shaped icicles in the air. Sharp and pointed, they weren’t much to look at, but it didn’t make them any less dangerous if they were impaled on anyone.
With a downward wave of a hand, Aeos sent the ice all spiraling downward at the group from the other side of the crystal barrier with both speed and accuracy. “Dodge if you can!” he yelled, voice rising over the battlefield. The Ice Constellation followed his weapons a wing-beat of a second later, swords drawn and ready to fight.

All the noise, the screams, the thudding of bodies onto the ground, feet trampling the earth. The noise, the noise! Make it stop...
Haveni opened her eyes from the room she had been sleeping in the past several months, in the coma she had been in since Ruin had touched her. The room was on fire, and there was a large hole in the ceiling. The moment she stood up, she knew something was wrong with her, she was not herself.
The flaming roof above her cracked and caved, embers falling around her. Dark blue light emanated from her body, crashing against the falling ceiling. It turned to ash, and blew away, leaving her unharmed.
Violent intentions swam through her mind, and she walked barefoot out of the building she was in. At the top of the long, stone stairway up the hill she was, near the shrine of candles. Her heart skipped a beat as her eyes took in the strange portrait of war before her.
So much fighting, so much blood.
Her mouth twitched into a small and abnormal smile. A soft chuckle escaped her lips, and she proceeded into the chaos, walking slowly with her barefeet. White hair messily draped over halfof her face, the blue light around her growing darker, and thicker, as it had been around Ruin. Finally to the bottom. Her eyes fell upon Aeos and Seir as spears of ice began to rain from the sky.
All she could hear was her heartbeat at this point. Time seemed so slow, so slow. She had stepped in front of the surviving moonfolk here, the ice spears reflecting in her eyes.
Strangely, she began to laugh, a bloodcurdling and frightening laugh. The dark blue aura, which had turned almost black, rose up around her, like many claws desperately reaching for the sky. Her own hands raised into the air in the same manner, and parted. The black swallowed the icespears, engulfed them, and then....a loud boom.
All that was left of the spears were falling bits of ice powder.
Her horrible and eerie laughter continued, and the madness in her eyes led those close to her to question..was this really Haveni, or was this Ruin?

Noctis stopped partway, the battle seemed to halt as a white-haired one stood outside.
"Whoa, check out the crazy entrancce. She just topped us all." Noctis whistled, landing on a rooftop, watching the action. Why was she so.. creepy? Before he could comment or ponder on anything else, a pain shot through him, directed at his eyes. His hand reached out to cover his left eye, clutching it tightly, falling to his knees, a small trail of blood leaking from his changing eye. Red. Yellow. Red. Yellow. Berserk. Normal. Berserk. This had never happened before. His left eye, the symbol of his berserk or normal state was flashing rapidly between the two colors, the process was become a painful burden on Noctis's body. A groan escaped, gritting his teeth in immense pain.
"What the hell.. is happening here?" His other hand, placed on the dirty rooftop, dug his fingers in, crushing a shingle from the rooftop as he stared at the commotion ahead. Why was his eye.. reacting? There was something more to this constellation?
"Who the hell is that?"
It was as Rhyme feared. Ruin had not left, after all. In front of her, Ryhme thought it was Haveni.. but she couldn't see the differences between Haveni and Ruin now. In fact, Rhyme wondered if it was Ruin in front of her.
.. What was happening here? Running towards the frightening constellation, tears rose in Rhyme's eyes at the disaster that had erupted. It was all Ruin's fault. She rushed forward, anger rising at the bloodcurling laugh released, held back by Ikuto's arms, she tried to force her way through, a angered glare landing on Ikuto.. and then Haveni.
"Damnit, Haveni.. Ruin..! Whichever one of you is in there, what in the world are you doing to everyone..? They're all innocent yet..!" Rhyme choked on her next words, seeming unable to speak, cold powder landed on her from the broken ice shards.

Things appeared to be getting interesting as well as dangerous as a small battle seemed to start. Everything was about to take a turn for either good or worse, but it didn't exactly involve her at the moment. In fact, those around would probably be much less aware of anything else but targets they may have picked from afar. Rylia took a deep breath and breathed as a small cloud of darkness appeared around her once again. She was about to make a quick and quiet dash towards a much darker part of the area so that she could once again watch the battle from the trees.
Just as she was about to make that dash, she heard a voice nearby yelling to see if...someone could dodge something. Without thinking, she stood up and looked up in the direction she had believed she'd heard the voice only to spot a large weapon made of ice heading towards the group the constellation with the harp and the pirate were apart of. It was so sudden, but she wasn't too surprised that something like this would happen. Of course her eyes drifted for a minute up to the sky to see whom they would be fighting, but she didn't have nearly enough time to try and see who it was before her gaze became fixated on something else. Rather, it was someone.
Rylia didn't recognize the new constellation, but the energy she emanated was very much familiar. It was....strangely similar to that feeling she had back at the festival where she met some ice constellation named Aeos and a phyri named Harou. She didn't get to learn much about them, but she remembered both their faces. It was then that it hit her. "Kiru....I've seen her before...at a festival..." she whispered.
Kiru looked up at Rylia, unsure of what to say. "how well?.." he asked.
"Non too well...I didn't get to know her or anything....but even so, she seems different and the energy...isn't the same either..." she whispered as she lowered herself towards the ground and crept her way closer in an attempt to remain unnoticed. Once she believed she was close enough, she peered over at the white haired constellation as she easily got rid of the weapon made of ice. She would have been happy for the side this constellation had helped but...the look in her eyes even from where she was and the combined laughter had her confused as well as unsure. Kiru sat beside her, peering through a bush.

Grassglitter had a heck of a time slogging through the battlefield to where the Constellations stood. She was held up for a time by a particularly stubborn group of cursed, slashing and lashing and sputtering in a frenzy. Suddenly, an opening between her and the Constellations was clear, and she dove for it - only to bounce back as first a wall of crystal rose nearby, summoned by the woman in Red, and then a rain of icy spears was launched from the sky along with a battlecry - only to be atomized by a dark, fierce aura emanating from... Haveni?! The gentle candle-seller who was also a (much more popular) staple of the Festival circuit? It was at once Haveni and not, the laughing, shrieking figure framed in soft white, tinted and tinged with the un-glow of her aura. Freakin'. Creepy. Sneaking around the crystal wall, Grass dropped her blade in its lee and looked to the group of Constellations fighting the Cursed. Her muscles were weary, and her head was swimming. She could hardly afford the energy it would take to wish even a little luck to those he had come to aid, something which wearied her so much more than spitting venomous curses upon people. She tried it anyways - she wished for these fighters as much luck as was hers to give, willing that luck to them with all of her fiercely stubborn will. Uncertain of the success of her endeavor - she'd never been the strongest of the Luck Homunculi, and even on the best of days could not often manage more than a little blessing - she picked up her blade again and tried to sneak away onto the forest, where it seemed quieter. She would probably have enough energy left to at least find a good-sized rock to crawl under - she doubted she could fight much more that day.
