"What you're tellin' me sounds complicated, but from what I understand... if I were to be Force user, I think..."

The image of the man and his words flashed back up, sending a shiver on her back. Had he meant anything with it, or was it just coincidence? Kayla didn't feel like thinking about that.

"... the Dark Side pr'bably suits me best. Though self-control is also somethin' I know.", she paused. "Eh. I don't know. I can't use it to figure out 'nyway."

She looked at his hand-gesture when he spoke about the trick he had learned at the Academy. While at first she didn't get why he did it, she turned her head the moment she heard a small rock hit the floor. Along with others, they ended in the dirt.

"That...", she silenced, then sceptically asked. "What's the use if you can simply take one and throw it as well?"

"I said it wasn't impressive or anything, but imagine that were a boulder, could you simply pick that up and throw it with your hands?" Kael asked, amused.

"The force has many applications to its users, from extending the senses to transcending the material realm itself. It is a great and at the same time terrible power, much more so than any weapon can match.."

The trio approached the harbor gates, Karol pulls out a datapad with the shipment information. "I'll wait at the gates, guards get uneasy when they see weapons anyway," Kael says, walking over to a wall and leaning against it before sliding down to sit.

Des Auppo, last surviving member of his clan, neared the seadocks; where he hoped to find some rich yaht-owner in need of a merc. As he approached, he noticed a tatooed being standing casually outside the docks. A dangerous being, he thought, force-user maybe? Will have to keep an eye on him.

"Hmm. I admit. I can't throw a builder.", she said amused. Seeing the man with the blue and white hat in the distance, she suddenly remembered the little errant she had to do. With all the talking, she had nearly forgotten about it.

"Seems I 'rrived at dest'nation. Thanks for the chit-chat and the escort, Miralukas. If we meet 'gain, perhaps we can continue our chit-chat 'bout the Force?"

Running off to the end of the docks - the guards didn't really saw a use in holding up a little girl - she pulled his sleeve, since the man seemed rather too occupied to pay attention to her.

"Hey, sir. I heared you could help me out? I need some parts for my termal inductor."

Perhaps it was best. It was no surprise to him that he had caught a shuttle to this place. He always had favored peace over conflict, but the fires of revenge burned strong inside of him for the Imperials, however, there wasn't much he could do now, as only a Jedi Initiate. His training hadn't wrought very much, but he knew enough to do a little damage, and that was all that mattered. Perhaps, someday, he would have the power to get what he desired...but until then...

The scratching of his long robes against the ground awoke him from his inner thoughts and alerted him to the bustling of the city. His long black hair cascaded down to his shoulder, strands falling in front of his hazel eyes and partially hiding them as he surveyed the area before him. "I'm just here for a little rest..." He reminded himself as he continued his walk. Perhaps he would stop by one of the local Cantina's and have a drink, but then again, perhaps not. It all really depended on how he felt. He shook his head and sighed. Yes, a drink sounded particularly good right now. Suddenly, he was back inside his own mind.

It had been so long since he had felt like he belonged, having wandered the streets with the other orphans as an outcast, even among them. Perhaps everything had happened the way it had for a reason, for, among the other Jedi Initiates and Master Skywalker, he finally felt like he had found a home. But, that was just something he wouldn't let himself feel too good about. Eventually, everything that felt good, ended badly.

Guards tend not to bother with a Wookiee, much less one dressed in Mandalorian armor. As he scanned the dockyard, a tone sounded inside his helmet. A message from one of his contacts alerting him to a job near his location. Perfect, he thought, I can take care of this mark, earn a few creds, and maybe get my name in with a few locals.

Kael continues to wait for Karol by the front gate, looking into the streets as a man in light armor and a dark overcoat approach him.

"Where's that kid?" he demands, glaring down at Kael. "I'm sorry, what kid?" Kael slowly rises to his feet, bringing himself to eye level with the man. "Don't play dumb with me, we saw you with her after she was with Omikias," the man was getting testy, pulling out a blaster.

"I already told you I don't know what kid you're speaking of, nor do I know this Omikias you speak of," Kael says while keeping a slight smile, "And I don't think that you should be doing here." Making sure the man wasn't paying attention to it, he began to loosen his sash in case he'd need his blades.

"Last chance kid, tell me where she is or this will get violent," the man pointed his blaster directly in Kael's face. "Well now that's just rude," Kael says with a tone of sarcasm in his voice, "If you're going to be like this then I guess I have no choice."

The man, apparently pleased in thinking he had intimidated the miraluka smirked, "Tell m-" His words were cut off by what was most certainly searing pain, Kael had unsheathed his dagger and slit the man's wrist, making him lose grip of his weapon.

Taking the advantage, Kael then cut across the bandit's thigh and, upon unsheathing his sword, locked his blades together at the hilts and held the now hachette's larger blade at the man's throat. "Surrender. Oh, I fear that last strike was a little more lethal than I had intended, you should see a doctor unless you'd like to bleed out in the streets," he states coldly, slowly digging the blade deeper into the flesh of the wounded assailant.

The now terrified attacked runs off, or at least tries to, falling on his wounded leg before getting back up and limping away.

The dark blue silken boots crunched the rocky earth, lifting a small dust cloud as the pair of lavish footwear lifted off the ground. As the dust reached the billowing black robes it swirled vigorously attempting to cling to the clothing only to find the ground it once rested on. A smirk stretched across the Arkanian's face noting the robes remain untouched by the dirt. Apparently the latest apparel he had acquired was very well made, the micro fibers sowed in must have been made specially for a Politician or something of that caliber to ensure the visitation of the other worlds would still present a clean Ambassador.

"No matter the clothing you wore Mr. Ambassador, it did not stop me from disabling your ships oxygen supply." The Arkanian thought smugly. His latest strategic victory was one of the easiest, almost annoyingly easy. The manner in which victory was reached was ludicrous to simple minded tactician's, in fact he believed the need of the pirates ships was almost unnecessary. Then again he would have not come across such luxourious clothing if the pirates had not hired him to defeat such a target.

Walking the streets of the mercenary town was like shopping, yet the Arkanian himself was the item and the Merc's were the shoppers. He knew walking was merely a ruse, as any self respecting Mercenary knew exactly where to find him, the tactician felt like displaying his latest treasure. Glancing in and out of buildings nods were given simply out of a useless trivial tradition. The Arkanian had no respect for any of the dim witted fools that hired him, his perspective was quite clear; The hirees were a body without a brain and he was the brain.

Entering a local tavern he awaited a gesture by the local hostess and took a seat near the middle of the small bar. Slowly exhaling he strained his hearing like he had many times before and listened to the jabbering of the drunken habitants within. He was always surprised by his ability to hear so clearly in the midst of dozens of conversations taking place. Tid bits of useful information came in, though must was a adaptation of the truth simply fueled by the liquor burning in the story tellers chest. Once satisfied with what he gathered, the Arkanian motioned for a waitress and ordered a non liquor drink, settling back the Arkanian awaited for a hiree.

He spotted the man with the black and blue hat. According to his information the man was receiving a piece of flimsi; Des' job was to retrieve that flimsi by any means necessary. A young girl was standing in front of him; that was a shame, but this is a violent galaxy. He stepped up behind the man, drawing one beskad in case things got messy, and gripped the man's hand with one large paw. "Hand over the piece of flimsi, and you walk away." the translation software in his helmet said.

OOC Response to Prince Lucivar-Yaslana (I am not sure if your post is in response to my character.... I did not state my character was wearing a black and blue hat.... Nor can you engage in physical contact with a PC (playable character) unless "trying" to, which would require ethier my permission or a "chance roll". If my character was your intended description please edit your post so it will reflect it and ill be glad to interact with you.)

Thanks Armageddon.

((no, the character in the blue-hat is an npc up in raven's post, i'm trying to encourage a little player-interaction here... ))

((Know that my character hasn't taken out the flimsiplast yet, if you read my last post ;P ))

The man with the blue hat couldn't do much, it seems, but Kyra on the other hand looked sceptically at the man behind him.

"Flimsi... plast?", she spoke. Adding innocence to it all. "What's flimsiplast? I just came here for a trade I had to make in name of my safekeeper."

She took a step back, as if afraid. After all, Kyra had the looks of a twelve year girl and nothing at first sight showed she was actually a rogue. She could as much have been a peasant's child or an errant girl.

"Can't you leave the man alone?", she asked, ready to burst out in screaming and crying.

((i know, my char jumped the gun; so to speak. also, if you read the profiles, my character's not a man))
"He will be left alone when he does what I asked." said the robotic voice through his helmet speakers. "Now go.. this is no place for you." the Wookiee Mando said before turning back to the man.

"But... how will I get my hands on the products then? You'll have my parents ground me for this. You're mean, I'm going to tell the Jedi."

Running off from the man in the blue hat and his captor, she ran back towards the Miraluka that had escorted at first. She wasn't sure he could do anything about it, since he was blind and neither was an actual Jedi, but a little bluff was often enough to trick people.

Kael notices Kayla coming out of the docking area as he returns to his spot by the guard's post. "Need directions around town?" He asks, sheathing his weapons, "I won't be able to take you anywhere else until Karol comes back."
