Mavrick_hero Trickery suprisingly grabbed Zumi and placed a swift kick, sending him to the ground. "Fool! I am the incarnation of the Ultimate Evil!" As he spoke he placed one foot on Zumi's back and another began stomping on his head. As he was doing this he was aware of Hakiro charging at him. His happy clown face cracked and chipped off, underneath was a fiery darkness with red eyes. Trickery's gloves burned off and he sent a blast of pure darkness straight at Hariko. "Let's see how you like it, Fireboy!" (9) "Zumi!! Kamikaze attack!!!!!" As Hakiro was hit by the blast, it felt as though hundreds of lightning bolts struck him it his chest. There was no use in dodging, he was going too fast to stop. And parrying against an unknown force was foolish. The protective cover on Hakiro's ribs wore off, and blood spurted out of his right side and his mouth. Yet he continued to charge. "Heh... not bad, but that wasn't anywhere near my liking. How 'bout this one then!!! You'll like it so much you'll eat it for preakfast, lunch, and dinner in oblivion!!!!" Hakiro yelled as he lit his sword to form a demonic fire blade. all the while that poor Zumi was being ponded, his fire was becoming lighter. He grabbed Trickery from behind, holding him in a full nelson. -Now, master!!!- Zumi cried, preparing for an attack. "Zumi... Explosion NOW!!!" As Zumi blew up, Hakiro slashed multiple times, creating ten walls of fire headed straight at Trickery at point-blank range. TITAN FURY!!!!! A flash of light then appeared, covering the two combatants. As the light dimmed, only one fighter would stay standing. (10)

As the smoke cleared on the arena, the Ultimate Evil was hovering over the ground, beaten but not defeated, he looked over toward Hariko who was on the ground, struggling to get up. "Pathetic humans. Always so easy to break." He smiled as he slowly disappeared. "I admire your skills, you have done well." The ultimate Evil disappeared and the Gamemaster returned to his normal form. As he fell he made sure to deal a kick to Hariko's wound and the two combatants fell on the ground. All was silent as they lay there silently. Mavrick_Hero renturned to his normal form and smiled. "Well that was fun." (10)

That was pretty cool of ya to use actual gaming things, like that round two thingy.

Hmm... Such an awesome fight. It's really hard for me to decide a winner. Honestly, I actually thought about just bumping you both to the next round, but someone has to go on. whee
Out of it all, I'd have to say it was Mavrick_hero who wins, though even now, it's still a very close, and even match. I liked how he used a creative, video-gaming tactic in the beginning. Very new, and fresh, something you don't expect to see in a fight. Though, with all that, Hakiro-kun_777 was able to combat it with well placed, and thought out moves. Very excellent job on his side. It's one thing to think up creative attacks, but it's another to battle those attacks with creativness of your own. But, I'd have to vote for Mavrick_hero in this battle.
Good job to the both of you. And it's fights like this that make me enjoy my position in Shadow Arena, just being able to see something like this. 3nodding Hakiro-kun_777, I sure hope you enter the next tournament. 3nodding Congradulations to both fighters.

Well I'm a little relieved and worried myself. If I was going to win I was hoping for fair and square, and that's what i got, but now I'm worried since Hakiro did so well I don't want to make his loss a waste by losing in the next round. Here's hoping I think of something creative for next time.

Here's hoping I think of something creative for next time. Are you kidding? You had an incredibly creative move-set-thingy! That was So freakin' cool to use game strategies!! And Trickery too, Never expected that. Of course, there's another thing like that in an actual game-Marvel Vs. Capcom. When you beat Onslaught for the first time, he transforms into a bigger, stronger Onslaught. Were ya thinkin of that when you used Trickery?

Except for Titan's Fury, Brick Wall Defense, Dragon Fury, Fireball, and Zumi, I made up everything on the spot.

No problem Hakiro. And what I mean by that is, let's face it, Mavrick had one awesome strategy against you. His creative attacks and video game strategy can put a lot of fighters in their place. But you battled and did exceptionally well against a strategy like that. And the fact that you show good sportsmanship afterward only adds to your good character. 3nodding
Yeah, I'm a little sad that so many people are losing due to forfeit, but I do realize people can't just come online at anytime, and do have lives outside of Gaia.
