The world dissembled itself, breaking off into pieces like a distorted nightmare. He'd long since stopped asking questions about the world though. It stopped mattering at the same time it had stopped caring. The pup had no use for lumps of flesh called human beings. He had no use for any variation of that type of creature. No tolerance for what was known as a 'person' of sorts. The whole lot was nothing but a treacherous group of filthy maggoty traitors. Though, there was a bit of interest in this sort of thing. The sort of deliciously creepy interest that meant a tinge of destruction. But the thought was fleeting. The need to bring death and doom to anyone a dying thought. He was afraid of such power. Afraid of the pandemonium it might cause lest he control it. Besides, what right had they to see him unleashing destruction. He was better than that. Better because of the euphoria his mind was in. The whole world was still just a blissful drugged dream.

And so, when his mind wasn't filled with the swirling liquid pink amongst panes of darkness, when it was clear again, he held absolutely still. His nose filled with the stench of leather and of multiple persons. Clear eyes stared out blankly, an obvious emptiness there. Where color should have been, there was nothing but white, a clear indication to his status at the moment. Black furred ears twitched ever so slightly and he huddled up against whatever it was he was sitting in. This place didn't smell the same. It didn't smell of the familiar room he lived in. It didn't smell of drugs, or even of music though he could clearly hear the resonating thump of notes coming from around his neck.

The quiet introverted mutt instantly reached up to grasp at his headphones, desperate for the music that pounded there. Desperate for the safety but even that sounded off. Almost as if this place didn't support the same tunes he was so used to. Whatever this place was, it was the epitome of bad news for the blind teen and he felt backed into a corner, surrounded by nothing short of a despairing situation. There was an abnormal sense of defensive paranoia rising in him. Swelling and threatening. If things didn't go more in favor of a quiet familiar smelling solitude soon, the male, Tristan, could only fear the worst.

Ah ah ah, so the girl with the chair had a bit of spine in her, after all. She didn’t need the smart alec standing up for her, not at all. J’dyr pocketed the credits Shaol gave him quietly, watching both Nixir and his victim with narrowed eyes as he tapped his hip. Plan A never worked, did it? Well, lucky for them, there was another twenty-five letters to the alphabet, and J’dyr had always been a persistent sort. It was part of that ‘annoying charm’, though it sounded better if you called it ‘determined’. Sounds a little bit more like you had a cause. Which he did!

…it just wasn’t a good one.

But! That neither here nor there and there was a Situation afoot. If there anything the military academy trained you for, it was for diffusing conflicts. Well, they also trained you to throw your life away to cover up the conflicts they failed to diffuse, but that was a stage J’dyr did not wish to reach before he managed wrangle a few more of these tomcats, lest he be the one they sacrifice. Bottom of the pecking order? No thank you.

At the very least, though, Seat Girl understood.

“My god, Grasshead, it’s like a goddamn rebellion. They’re all off in their own little world, but very well. We’ve things to do.” J’dyr turned to Nina and folded his hands behind his head. “It’s not very nice to try and break up friends, you know. Especially when I’m right here, listening. But I’m a nice guy and I’m willing to give you another shot, okay? You give him the chair and we’ll leave you alone. You look smart enough, well, not that smart you just got bit, but.” J’dyr shrugged. “There’s always a third option, in which we can join forces and work something out” The cadet watched the Seat Girl carefully, not entirely sure how well that offer would be received. But if she really cared about preservation, she’d think with her head, not her heart, and abandon her knight-in-shining-armor.
