Al'ar becomes jealous and protective easily. Be it over a mare he's taken for the time, or his own children. As far as he's concerned, nothing can get between him and his mare or foals. However, he does still beat himself up over the fact his only daughter was hurt by another. That's one thing he never wants to see happen again.
