The man turned just in time to see her fall down and he rushed to her quickly pulling her into his arms. "N-nono... You didn't do anything wrong... Y-your Daddy and Papa ar-are just making mistakes... a-and being accused wrongly." He rocked her holding his close in a hug as his body swayed. And that other question, 'do you not love us?'... How was he supposed to answer that? he loved Frankie yes... But... Stein wasn't exactly his love... or else... he at least wasn't supposed to be. "O-Of course I love you Frankie... A-and... your Daddy is a good man too.... I-I was just trying to get Jordon's Daddy back..." and I can't understand‧‧‧    Stein scowled down at his hands as he knelt down behind his operating table, the small metal frame hiding him from view, he then mentaly kicked himself for what was hapening. "I'm such an idiot!" he snapped at himself the tone somewhere between a whisper and talking. Frankie whimpered, the words only made her cling to him tighter. "Apa!!" she whimpered, her grip on his coat tightening, "B-but Jordown....and-d Dawddy...and-d-d I-I...." she couldn't finish her sentence, her little mind racing, Papa's leaving...and I don't want him to... she then decided to say one thing, the event hidden from her family. "Who's gonna sawve me fwom the snawkes!" she wihmpered at the thought of the snakes, oddly shaped like arrows, coming after her, stricking viciously. [[Hope you don't mind~ I thought it'd be reasanable to have Medusa in her backround story~]]    ‧‧‧Why my heart is so broken,

D'x]] Spirit turned his head slightly when he heard Stein call himself an idiot. he was going to object, but the girl in his arms seemed be to needing a desperate amount of comfort at the moment. And since she was right there, he might as well try to comfort her first. "I-It's okay.... I-" He sighed. It seemed the only way to calm her down would be to tell her he was staying... Should he Lie? or... "Papa will stay..." He nearly winced at the words he spoke, the words that could easliy become a fib later on. "I'm not going to let any snakes hurt you!" He stood up carrying the small girl over to where Stein was. "Now what was that about being an idiot?" and I can't understand‧‧‧The doctor looked up from his place were he knelt beside the metal table, his eyes then fell to the ground, "I am causing alot of trouble.... and I'm not meaning to... but it's hurting...what little family I have..." he whispered, hoping his senpai couldn't hear him, but he probably could. Frankie whimpered into her Papa's coat, her cheeks still stained with tears, but she remained quiet, her mind full of confusing thoughts, she didn't want her Papa to leave, she wouldn't be able to stand it, she had already went through thinking her Daddy had left her. "Apa... am I doing somethwing wong?" she whimpered, as any other child would do, she thought this was all related to her.‧‧‧Why my heart is so broken,

Despite this sounding like it should be a joke, he was completely serious. He watched her sadly a moment longer before looking down at Stein. "you shouldn't feel like you're the only one causing trouble... and I can't understand‧‧‧Stein shook his head, "As much as I'd love to believe that, we are not both at fault.... or at least, one is more to blame than the other... and I think the one who is more to blame is myself.... I'm not very good with this family thing... but I don't even suport the little family I can hold together. I'm just being selffish and ungratful..." he would have added his normal response 'better off dead' if the small child was not in the room. Frankie shook her head, her small hand patting her Papa's cheek, she then hugged his neck, hidding her face, her sobs becoming quieter. "Apa and Dwaddy aren't idiowts...." she said to him, "They are vewy smawt... and can handle anythiwng...." she muttered through her hiccups and small whimpers.‧‧‧Why my heart is so broken,

Spirit wasn't exactly sure how to respond to Stein, well, more of he wasn't sure he should respond with what he had in mind while Frankie was right there with him. So he shrugged. "you're new with this... You'll figure it out... Look what happened between Kami, Maka, and I..... I failed miserably... I was just lucky enough to have a second.. and somewhat third chance."
The weapon smiled at Frankie softly when he reached up and touched his face, and let it remain there as he listened to her.
