I'm bi and most of my friends know and guess some of my teachers do to. I think it is very hurtfull when people make fun of me or don't want to be around me because i'm differnt. I'm in middle school and its hard because alot of people want to beat me up.

I asked a Bishop wwhat he thought and he said it isn't wrong to be homosexual. (Though, I asked in front of like 500 people). O_O

I'm in middle school and its hard because alot of people want to beat me up. Middle school was pretty rough for me too, but you just gotta tough it out, my friend. You can be content with the fact that you will always be smarter than they are biggrin

AS a gay Christian I'm positive its not a sin. I really can't see any higher being looking down at those he/she created just because of something they were born with. Is it a sin to have downsyndrom or be cripple? No one says anything about that but its something people are born with and can not change; just like our sexuality.

I believe that it's not a sin. Unfortunately people at my church tell me otherwise. I'm a high school senoir I've been out for almost three years and the statement that I'm a sinner just because of who I love it still extremely hurtful. The Catholic Church's standing on homosexuality is that being homosexual is not a sin as long as you stay pure in the eyes of the Lord. Unfortunately this means that you have to be called into the single life or the religious life. Single life means you stay single and you use your free time as a single person to voluteer in the church and in your local community. Relgious life means that you become either a Preist or Nun. Now alothough I am Catholic I don't believe that this true. Some Catholics and Christians will try to tell you where to look in the Bible to find where it tells you that being homosexual is a sin. Here's the thing God loves all his creations. Down to the last speck of dirt. He loves us for who we are not for what someone else thinks of us. It says in the Bible that those who judge others will be judged as so by God. So those who Judge us just for our sexuality will be judged by God in the end. So just hang in there and remember what I have said so you can always have hope.

Demona King Everyone in my school says that gay's and all that shouldnt even be around. But some of them are lesbian or any of the other stuff. I find it a little sad that people cant just accept us for who we are. heart hell na im glad im not you. straight all the way

I don't believe it's a sin either.
I'm not religious, but up until I came out, I was a regular Sunday schooler, church-goer and a carer in the church creche and a part of the youth-group. Although I did have to leave as they weren't so keen on the idea of me having girlfriends, there are still several churches locally that are open and specifically for queer people and their families.
And unlike my catholic aunt who takes the bible very seriously, I look at it as a metaphorical 101 on the history of Christianity (and how others' relationships with God have fulfilled their lives or not) that every individual is allowed to interpret in their own way.

okay like seriously my boyfriend, i just learned today, is homophobic and the shock of it made my head hurt. he throws it out there today that "gay is just plain wrong on a guy *shivers*" yeah let me tell ya and lesbian is just plain "sexy" on a girl *rolls eyes* then his ex just jumps in *stupid squeaky girly voice* "god made it to where gender shouldnt love the same gender its in the bible" yeah in the bible theyre gonna stone someone to death just cause they love someone with the same body parts as them. oooh yeah some god. then my boyfriends like "then they have the high pitch voices and gay a** clothes" again, lemme tell ya. my UNCLE is gay. my UNCLE doesnt have a high pitch voice or, as he likes to put it, "gay a** clothes". my Uncle Don is my FAVORITE uncle and he is a NORMAL uncle. hes just in love ith and happily married to my Uncle Felton. whoopty freaking doo. and personally, theyre BOTH my favorite uncles. i even get my sene of humor from them. and personally, i love gay people. in my opinion, they make the world go round. i swear i feel like i didnt know him at all...what should i do?

and ive been called a freak all my life just because im not homophobic, so im extremely used to it. so why does it hurt so badly that i think my boyfriend feels the same way......?

Im her boyfriend and im really sorry for saying that but i was mad at my ex and when im mad i say things i dont mean and i said i hated gays but i really dont it just freaks me out a little bit but its your choice and if you guys are happy then im ok with it cause im happy with lauryn so why cant you be happy ya know and if lauryn sees this i want you to know ive told you everything about me even my most embarrassing secret and your not a freak your a beautiful, funny, smart girl i love you so much and i will never leave you and i think you guys are happy being gay, bi, or lesbian and im so sorry i acted like i did please forgive me everyone and dont worry about me and lauryn were ok now
