(AKA...goes unconscious.) I don't know, I think it would be best if you addressed it in the the story, since an avid YYHer might just happen upon it and exclaim "OMG! But Miroku should get power boost. Author=bad!!!!" ; )

As for the whole Wind Tunnel physics thing. It's old school anime. Is there anything more that needs to be said?

Because I am not action-minded, I tend to focus on a fighter's greatest strength. For Kurama, it's his intelligence/ability to strategy. For Sesshomaru: raw. Untamed. Extreme. Destructive. Power.

That is not to say that Kurama couldn't beat Sesshomaru in any circumstances--he probably could if he was given the right situation. But here he's fighting against an enemy that he knows does not lose well. This enemy has so much power that he might accidentally kill members of the audience (which will include some of Kurama's friends like Keiko and Shizuru) and the opposing team, which definitely includes his friends. I don't know if this makes logical sense, but to me, there are times when intelligence will lose to brute strength--and Sesshomaru's not exactly dumb, either.

Well, like I said before, Kagome's had a bit of training from Kayade (who got it from Kikyo, who we all know was pretty adept at beating off demons.) She has some destructive spiritual powers--not as much as Genkai does, though.

I think it would be really awesome if Miroku absorbed the dragon and then passed out--he could still lose, but since Naraku dies in this fic (and his wind tunnel is healed,) he would do well to have a super-powerful technique to use at his will. Plus it would be interesting to hear Hiei's thoughts on such a thing.

These two reasons make plenty of sense as to why Kurama would lose to me. The two combined spell it out. Kurama wanting the fight to end quickly and not have Sesshy draw out too much power. Sesshy being decently smart. I think you're fine this area. (Not that you exactly asked me...)

No, no, that's exactly why I discuss my fanfictions on the net. So that anyone can put in his/her opinion and I'll get feedback before even writing. biggrin
