While Atrocity was grabbing the bat, Cross closed the distance and went to preempt the bat swing with one of his own, albeit with a steel chair in place of the bat. It seemed every single one of Cross' attacks were just trying to prevent a "killing" blow from Atrocity.

The bat made hard contact with the chair and the impact shook up Atrocity's hands forcing him to drop the bat.
(hello Cobra Commander)

((You will say Hail Cobra Commander from now on, you fool! xd )) The vibrations from the collision were sent into both Cross' hands and caused him to have a very unpleasant feeling, and let go of the Chair, only to charge Atrocity and look to tackle him, sending the two of them into the ring of fire. If somehow successful, the gasoline on Cross' clothes would ignite and cause him to have to get out pretty quickly and get extinguished.

(( NEVER! XD))
With Chris charging at him Atrocity got his wits about him and instead sidestepped Chris and go for a drop toe hold sending only Chris into the fire. If that worked, while he was being extinguished Atrocity would again go for the kill shot, a hard right to Chris face

((CURSES!!!)) Obviously Cross didn't have much of a choice but to catch on fire, but now that Atrocity wasn't in the flames, he got up as quick as he could and was in the process of getting extinguished when Atrocity came at him with the right. Chris narrowly ducked it, and narrowly avoided a one-way ticket to a big old L on his record. He would attempt to get behind his opponent and hook his arms and launch a quick dragon suplex. If he took even one second to catch his breath that damn dirty Atrocity would send that Glass covered hand into his face. He would be very lucky to get a break after being set on fire and extinguished.
((Double curses for your glassy right hand. It means I have to avoid all your punches or lose. Just be glad the ref isn't checking your hands, buddy boy. I'm sure he'd find some blood from the glass, unless you were very careful to not use your hands when entering or exiting the ring, or when you jumped on me. Or getting up. I'm probably joking. That would be very anti-climactic if a little hand blood ended it.))

Atrocity suddenly felt himself being tossed overhead in the suplex and hit the canvas hard on his back. The referee came up to Atrocity checking for blood again and he was shoved off just as quickly as he got there

Cross was trying to catch his breath, but seeing Atrocity push the ref away, he knew he didn't have the time, and went about trying to grab ahold of Atrocity's arm and rub the man's hand against his own face, being careful not to touch any of the glass himself.

Atrocity used his upper body strength to keep Chris from rubbing the glass against his face. During the exchange Atrocity would try and roll himself and Chris over so he could try and get in the kill shot.

Cross was rolled over and Atrocity got the dominant position. He swung his fist and it connects with Cross' head. The pain is excruciating and Chris looks to push Atrocity off of him and get to his feet. If he gets away from his opponent, the ref would come to give him a look, though Chris would refuse to take off the burlap mask. It was his face. And he would not remove his face.

Atrocity would get tossed away slightly and before the ref would come over to check on him he would walk up to Cross head and forcefully try and remove the burlap mask knowing without a doubt there was some blood

As soon as Atrocity reached for the mask, Cross threw the hardest kick of his life, aimed right at the other man's junk. If he was successful, he would follow-up with a DDT on the floor. As long as the ref didn't see the blood that he felt starting to slowly flow from his cheek, he could still win this. He just had to keep pulling out all sorts of devious tactics, like the mask, and the low blow.

After the DDT Atrocity quickly curled up and hand his hands on his nuts and feeling them making sure they were ok. He was still checked for blood but again nothing Atrocity has a hard head

Cross got up and looked to place a foot on Atrocity's throat and look down at him, before pushing off and attempting to drop a boot on his opponent's forehead.

Atrocity felt the pressure of the boot on his throat but before the boot could hit his head he moved just out of the way and looked to trip up Chris
