We could have the 7 heavenly virtues in with that too so there would be enough for everyone to do one.

I wouldn't mind hosting that 7 sins/virtues contest myself, actually.

Given that I could draw something as an example. XD heart

really that would be great because i was thinking about holding a different contest in the art forum as a promotion for the guild
so if you really want to host the contest let me know i will supply all the prizes and will let you know what the contest is about

we could do both
if you want to host the sin contest first (i will supply gold for this contest i dont mind)
and as soon as this contest ends you can host a alice in wonderland contest on your own
everyone is free to host a contest anytime

i think we should have a music themed one like u say the type of music you listen to you and show how that type inspires your art for my case it would be goth metal and stuff so i draw dragon and skeletons and devilish stuff to be hnest thart was just a example

I have set up the contest thread! You can see it in the contest subforum.

Here's an announcement I have prepared:

Pandiecakes is hosting a contest it starts on the 1st of March and will end on the 16th of March.

Seven Deadly Sins & Seven Heavenly Virtues
Contest

The contest will begin on the 1st of March and will end on the 16th of March.

Prizes:
Grand Prize: Thank You Letter March 2010
First Prize: 25,000 Gold
Second Prize: 15,000 Gold
Third Prize: 10.000 Gold
Fourth Prize: 5,000 Gold
Fifth Prize: 4,000 Gold
Sixth Prize: 3,000 Gold
Seventh Prize: 2,000 Gold
Eight Prize: 1,000 Gold

Each submission will be graded on a point scale. 5 different categories, worth 10 points each. Tallying up to a total of 50 possible points.

Suggestions for some of the month's Themes

January: Animal

February: Seven Deadly Sins

March: Fantasy Creatures

April: Create a Mutant Plant

May: Create your own Original Character

June: Couples

July: Draw a Fairy tale or Nursery Rhyme (For instance little red riding hood for a fairy tale and humpty-dumpty for a Nursery Rhyme)

August: Funny beach theme

September: Wonderland theme (draw something you might find in wonderland)

October: Halloween Theme

November: Create your own robot (describe its abilities)

December: Draw Frosty the Snow Man in your own prospective

They're just suggestions of course.
