"Thanks." I smiled. Confusion buzzed like a nest of bees in my head. So many questions crammed into my head. What was going on? I pulled the bandage tighter in my wrist. She didn't give me a weird look as some might have done looking at my wrist.
At the school before last they had held my wrists down and cut them to make me look like a cutter so now I had scars on both my wrists. Instinctively I covered my other wrists with my bandaged hand. People weren't nice to the kids who their parents practically own.
I looked down at the book that I was holding tight in my hand.

Some sort of black mist seemed to take over the Café. I narrowed my eyes and swore a bit. I guess these might be... demons? I'm not sure, and the only demons I know are Hiei and Shuiichi. I stepped in front of Ookami. I obviously didn't want her to get hurt. Shuiichi- excuse me, Kurama reached towards his hair, Hiei seemed to grip an object in his cloak, Kuwabar went defensive, as did Yusuke, Ryuu protected Kei and I grabbed a knife. My eyes darted around the Café. This is so cliché...

My heart beat as though in my throat. Eye seemed to be on my back. I spun facing a window behind me. A shadow loomed in the window before a... d-demon? A d-demon? God! I'm going crazy... crashed though the window. My eyes widened. I gasped.

Whatever the heck it was, it was weak. I'm a human, and I can feel how weak it was. I sighed in disappointment. It sure was ugly, but it was weak. I just threw my knife at it and it sort of, exploded. The black mist stayed, though. "Tch, I knew we had some complications." Hiei stated. I glanced at him
"...What?"

I blinked. My head spun with to many questions to count. What was going on? I looked at Tsukiyomi-san. She seemed disappointed. Will someone explain what the hell is going on?!

"what so special about demons...their probably easier than the hollows. and whats this talk about mew mews...thats so weird." as Nemu said quietly to herself in a tree outside of the cafe....'this sounds something like Ichigo told me once wen she got messed up with humans...well for sure these arnt regular humans....hearing what they could say at a distance is kinda better than reading minds....from my opinion atleast.' as Nemu thought not knowing who was right next to her. Ichigo turned her head. "well thats not wat i think...u can tell wat their reaction is without asking them." as Ichigo said shocking Nemu....."dont do that...now be quiet." as Nemu told her. they turned back halfway not knowing there was another person.

Hiei scoffed. "We're being watched." he muttered. I blinked at him.
"Hiei's Jagan permits him to read minds." Shuiichi informed. Oh, so that's why... but why make it seem obvious?
"I make it obvious because you're no ordinary human."
"Sure, I know Demons, I'm pretty sure I'm different..."

I stood there watching them. Confused!! That was a demon? They actually exist? God my head hurts. I looked down at my book no longer interested in the story. I think I'm living one just like it.

I sighed. Minamino-san seemed slightly confused at the black mist. Hiei seemed to react first. "This black mist... was initiated by someone in this room..."

Hiei scoffed. "It's not one of us Reitentai. That leaves you, your twin, Ryuu and Blondie." I stared sternly at him as he merely stared back. Finally, I declared: "No one in this room has the power to do suck a thing."

I stared at this strange mist that in circled the building. 'I wonder who?' I thought. I saw the the group again but this time I sensed something from the human. "Well" I said out loud, "Good a time as any to make my presence known." Throwing my own purple haze that was far denser into the building I slipped in. Taking demi form my demonic wings sprouted from my human back. I could see the reaction on there faces.
"Hello might I ask why such powerful demons as your selves are here in this building with humans?" I asked sneering. I might as well act like a normal demon then show my weaknesses.

I blinked at the woman in the doorway. Purple misted swirled all around. I looked at her. She was a demon. No mistaking that.
