YES THIS IS THE BEST THREAD EVER!
Now I was just wandering one small thing. Hollows have shown an ability to have their zanpakto grow with their increase in spiritual power. I've seen Hollows changing their Zanpakto into different weapons before but I want to know, can we slowly evolve our weapons to make them say sharper, or with more blades?
Also. Can a Resurrecion evolve into something more powerful over time, like say every 3 or 4 months your powers could grow somewhat. So for instance say I have the power to shoot fireballs from my hands I could eventually evolve the power to shoot fireballs from my feet as well through a training session at some point or are all our powers final? We can't evolve steadily and gain more?
I was also thinking. Is there any restrictions on where you can fire ceros from or how you fire them?
Oh god I'm a terrible person sorry for asking so many stupid questions.

The majority of what you're asking implies a second form of the Resurreccion which, in this guild, right now, is forbidden. No one has it. Not Temor, not me. No one. That more or less addresses the second paragraph
As for evolving your powers-- just like shinigami in this guild seem to be able to gain more power over time, so do we (I would think). At the same time, any additional power has to have a REASON (why did you gain more power?), it has to be HARMONIOUS (so you shouldn't just be adding random junk that don't make sense with your character's base power), and it has to be APPROVED by Temor and myself. More often than not, unless you give good reasons, you'll likely be turned down if only to keep powers in check. We're already more powerful than the majority of shinigami. Excess is unfair.
And! Ceros. So far as I know, there's no place you *can't* shoot a cero from, but that doesn't mean that any character can shoot it from anywhere. That could be exploited in battle in a stupid way. Pick some place you like best (but make it appropriate, Pad =_=). For example, Jes chooses to shoot them from her fingertips or the point of her dagger (but I kinda consider that channeling it a bit). So if you shoot from your mouth, nothing should come from your fingertips. If you shoot from your eyes, no ceros should come out your toes or belly button.
Did that all make sense?

Actually that wasn't supposed to happen. I was asking about evolution. I've always believed the Arrancar to be a race that steadily evolves traits like new arms and suchlike.
So that's cool. Now I understand the power system, I'll just sit here and look at it until such which time that I think. Holy s**t that would be awesome and then I'll provide awesome reasons for stuff.
Anyway yes that did make sense. Should we all put on our profiles where we fire Ceros from? I really want to fire mine from my eyes now but I've already said Mouth and Finger, then I realised how much I love laser eye beams. Can I change mine?
But you still missed one question about evolving swords. I'd like to use Nnoitora as an example here. You can see that as he became more powerful, changing from Octava Espada to Curta Espada his Zanpakto got 4 more blades. So as for that question. Say I wanted to imply my character was becoming more powerful steadily, could I modify my weapon to grow a big spike or to grow larger?
Thanks for all yer' help of course.

Well, since the fingers and mouth or kind of incongruous, I'd allow you to switch it to eyes only. I don't mind that.
For the evolution thing, the way I see it, arrancar are the pinnacle of hollow evolution. Nothing's going to force extreme mutations unless their natural enemies, the shinigami, find a new way to become stronger. Since that's not really the case (and the Zaigou or whatever don't really count), there's no arrancar evolution as of right now.
About the evolving sword or whatever: that just seems to be a function of the power system. If you can provide a harmonious change to your zanpaku-to(ish thing) that's within reason and is approved, of course you can change your character's weapon a bit. It would make more sense to do this when you go up in Espada ranks and stuff.

Ah thank you then.
That's actually given me one theory on how the Segunda works. I'll add that to my list of theories.
I don't think I got anything else to ask.

I can't pick an Espada I wanna serve under gonk and it's keeping my profile from being complete! That, and MW2. Damn it...
Oh, I have a question!
Is a roleplaying sample the best way to attain an Espada position? Or is there some other method?

@ Pad-- Care to elaborate on that theory? If it means anything, Temor is just as powerful as Jes since we're co-leaders. Primera and Segunda are just titles in my mind. He could as easily be the Primera as I could be Segunda, but I do more day-to-day admin stuff, so maybe that's why we're arranged the way we are. This was just Feiy's decision ^^
@ SDD (sorry for the abbreviation XD) -- If you like it better, you can just choose the number you like best and screw being someone's fraccion. I don't mind that and there are several rogue arrancar floating around.
As for the Espada thing-- it's good to RP and RP well. That's what Temor and I like to see best-- that you're RPing for the sake or writing a good story or battle rather than only RPing the bare minimum. It really depends on the style of contest we decide upon. Sometimes we'll ask for RP samples for a ranking contest. Sometimes it'll be a battle. Realize, of course, that in a battle, if it's a tough decision, we'll go outside of what's written and look at the RPer as a whole. We usually get things right and choose who we think is the best of the two in contest.
If all the Espada ranks are taken, you usually gain a seat by defeating an Espada in a formally-issue duel that's then judged by Temor and myself. Right now, we're in a bit of a sticky situation. Our Tercera rank is open, but we're debating what to do about this matter. We haven't come to a decision yet.
Did that help?

When I said Segunda I meant the Resurrecion of course, not the place in the Espada.
I could elaborate on that too if you want as I got three theories drawn up.

That helped a lot, thank you, and the abbreviation is fine. in fact, just call me SDD. Easier than spelling the whole dumb name out.
I'd say I'd like to take that Trecera rank, and that I can play it and whatnot, but since I'm pretty much new and you don't know me from Adam, that wouldn't be fair to those that have been here longer. So, fraccion for me... Thanks again for the help.

I have a total of three different theories.
First: The theory you gave me. I'm colouring white as it contains info from the latest chapter which can be found here. http://mangastream.com/read/bleach/385-12/1
I believe that the Segunda Resurrecion is a reaction to the exsistence of Vaizards that can perform Resurrecion themselves, obviously the Arrancar need to be able to stay one step ahead. I believe that when a Arrancar is in the same area as a Shinigami being turned into a Vaizard they gain the Segunda as a way of becoming one step ahead of the Vaizards with their Resurrecion. I also believe this may be true of any Arrancar who is in the vicinity of a Vaizard performing Resurrecion. Just a few thoughts. You'll notice Ully isn't particularly good at using his powers in Segunda suggesting he gained them recently and not only that, he directly says he finds it hard to control his ultimate attack. It's a slightly broken theory, I'll agree to that but it's my theory number 1.
Number 2: When a pure soul takes over a Gillian it becomes capable of using Segunda. I believe due to a slight similarity in looks and the way he treats Orihime that Sora, Orihime's brother, is Ulqiorra. Notice how there hasn't been a single mention of Sora since he supposedly reached Soul Society. I find it hard to believe that Sora wouldn't have heard about his own sister invading Soul Society and have came to help her or something. For this reason I believe that he was devoured by a Gillian but his own strong spiritual power and senses allowed him to take over the body.
Number 3: It's a Vasto Lorde only move. Or a failed Vasto Lorde's move. See how Ully hits the boundary between bat and human in his Segunda. That is why I believe Segunda is what is achieved when a Hollow is about to become a Vasto Lorde but fails through some means.

Theories two and three are interesting ones. Especially you catching the whole Sora thing. I would never have caught that. Now that I look at it, Ulquiorra's and Sora's hair are pretty much the same style, so maybe you're on to something. Of course, I think their hollow holes were in a different place, but that doesn't mean the location of it now isn't a function of the higher Gillian that could have gobbled Sora up.
I have to say, though (I'm all up to date on Bleach, but thanks for the link all the same), Theory One tugs at my heartstrings. It's a classic (though accelerated) example of evolution and adaptation. It's like coevolution but in an antagonistic sense. Very cool to think about.

One of these days. One of these days we'll see how it works.
Until then. It'll just have to be banned ;_ ;. Everything that's cool is banned. I really do play too much Disgaea.
