Lycan heard feet inside the mansion but if it was the princess he had no idea. Lycan heard a voice soon after right by the door demanding his name. Lycan smiled to himself his human eyes expanded being replaced by wolf eyes. Lycan decided he would give his real name for once. "I am Lycan and I am in search of Lilith." Lycan decided he wouldnt give all the information why he was in search for her yet but as soon as the door were to open a smidjen he would force his way threw still invisible till he confirmed that this is were the princess resided he refused to give people who might be his enemy his looks so that they could hunt him down later.
Lycan waited for a answer he would not wait long.

Pomme clenched her jaws. Lycan? the name did not ring a bell at all, the voice neither. She was certain she had never seen the man before.
The woman blinked. She was at lost. Lilith's feeling was now shared by the red hair woman. She believed that man behind the door at least not to be a threat to the Queen and yet...yet...could she take the risk of opening the door?
"Lilith, you said?" she called across the door, still not opening.
"There is no Lilith here." she added.
If only she could ask for something that would identify the man. The idea came to mind. The Crest. The Royal Crest. But how could she ask him for the Crest, when she did not know in the first place if he were not from their enemies? She waited, tensed, her hands still holding her knives, for an answer from the other side of the door.

Lycan shook his head and decided he would take a chance and he withdrew the gem that he was needed to deliver to the princess. Lycan decided that if the owner of the voice was not connected to Lilith in a alliance sort of way he would make sure she didnt rember anything. Lycan slightly unmasked his cloaking ability so that the gem was reveled and said in a very cold voice. "Open the door a crack and I shall prove something to you." Lycan had a dagger hiden in his cloak ready to end this if needed. Lycan thought to himself that if this was not the right place then it would indeed make him frustrated wich was rare but Lycan knew how little amount of time he had to find the princess.
Lycan was ready for action and waited.

Pomme raised an eyebrow. However the ton of the voice was very calm, not like the one of someone ready to attack a house or kill anyone. She shifted her second blade in her left hand and she slowly opened the door just a little.
She was welcomed by a hand a gem which vaguely reminded her of something. Then her eyes widened in recognition and she looked up to gasp at the half sight of a handsome impressive man, although most of him was hidden beneath a unique cloak. Pomme being so tiny, she looked ridiculously small in front of him. That gem was the one Serenice had told her about. The lost one. The hope of the Kingdom.
The red hair woman did not lose time and opened the door. "Come in quickly." she said at once.

Lycan entered the house and made the gem dissappear in his cloak and looked around. His keen eyes taking in everything and made a note of everything making sure taht he knew were everything was and the way to get to it. Then he looked down at the small female infront of him his cold eyes taking her features in making sure that he memorized her phsyical features and then he took a very deep break threw his nose making sure that her scent was memorized also. Lycan then decided to say. "Who are you and what is your connection to the princess?" the answer to this question will decide what he would do next.

Pomme closed and locked the door with caution.
She then looked back as the giant was staring at her...and even seemed to...smell her?! She was a little surprised but said nothing.
"I am Pomme." Lycan? she had to admit she liked the name. She felt her old talkative self coming back in presence of the man but she kept being cautious. Maybe he got the gem to get to the Queen? But that would be a high risk for many generations have tried to destroy the Gem and bringing it so close to the Queen with a bad intent would be stupid...or very clever.
"I am her bodyguard...for now..." she added.
She paused and looked at the cold eyes. Cold maybe...hot surely... she beamed mentally and added. "Have a sit. I shall call on her. Your business is with her, not with me."
She stayed in the room facing him until he sat or spoke back.

Lycan nodded at her answer to his question and without giving any signs of movement his dagger was sheathed and he noted to were she gestured for him to sit and walked over to the chair and sat down. Lycan continued to be very alert and ready to strike at any time incase this was a trap and if it was he would make the young lady regret it and might pay with her life. Lycan gazed around at the food and noticed that he had interupted a meal and that almost convinced him that there was others here if it was the princess then one part of his mission was done and the longest part of it would begin.

Pomme noticed the dagger and she answered by putting back one of her throwing knifes in her belt, the other one staying visible in her hand. At least they were both clear.
She walked to the room and opened the door. "Your Highness?" she called. "A man named Lycan is here with an item belonging to you: the Lost Gem. He is armed but I think your intuition was right and that he is here to help. However I would keel your sword by your side and I will be at the ready. He is sitting at the table."
Pomme had spoken at once, although she assumed that Lilith had heard some part of their short discussion. She had tried to follow the Queen's order who had asked her to stop speaking bit by bit as if she were stupid. She hoped that her Queen would notice that Pomme was able to describe facts in a concise and precise manner.
The red hair woman waited for Lilith to take her decision.

Lilith Ishtar Daciana Valdis Gwenevere Ovet Do you know what your fate is? And are you trying to shake it? You're doing your best and Your best look You're praying that you make it Lilith couldn't help but feel remarkably restless inside of the room. It wasn't as if she wasn't used to waiting- she'd done several missions which required waiting without movement for several hours before. So why she was suddenly being bombarded by this feeling was unknown to her. All that she knew was that she wanted to get out of the room and head up to see who the guest was herself. Her logic, however, wouldn't have anything with it. And as much as she'd learned to trust her instinct to the grave she sided with her logic.
'Why am I feeling like this? Even if I am an aggressive woman this is a bit too much for even me,' she thought to herself as she shifted her weight onto her other leg. Lilith looked away from the door and at the opposite wall, noticing an odd black... spot on the wall. She blinked, glancing away from it only to find that her eyes were dragged back to it again. 'What is that...?'
Then, within the bat of a hummingbird's wing, Lilith felt as if she'd fallen asleep. She blinked her eyes back open and looked around, shocked to find that was not inside of the room but instead an old, dusty hall that she could have sworn looked familiar. She looked around, eye sight somehow seeing through the darkness when a small light at the end of the hallway blinded her. She held her hand up and flinched away from it until her eyes adjusted to it. When she took her hand away and looked back she was shocked to see a young woman holding a stone that was emitting light walking towards her. Her auburn hair was tied back in a ponytail, black eyes peering out through the shadows and soft red dress swaying with every step she took.
'What in the world is this? That's- me? Younger?' Lilith stared as the clone walked across some creaking floorboards with a saunter that said she really had no destination in mind. Then, a board that she was walking across gave one particularly awful groan- and then it broke.
The other Lilith shrieked as she fell through the floor that had given out underneath her. Through some sheer stroke of luck she'd managed to grab onto the edge of the broken floor. However it didn't seem as if the luck would last. The other Lilith was gripping onto the ledge with slipping bare-white fingers. "Please," the girl gasped as tears started to spring up from the corners of her eyes. She watched in horror as the enchanted rock she'd been using as a torch slid off of the edge and into the bottomless black below her. She paused in her begging to listen for the sound of the stone hitting the ground. When no sound came she let out a quiet, high-pitched sob of agony. "Please, no, please, please, please..." she cried as she slipped farther and farther downward. "I don't, I-" another creak and the part of the wooden floor that she had been clinging to snapped. The real Lilith stood near the edge, watching as her younger clone plunged into the black as if something had reached out and yanked her down as she shrieked: "SERENICE!"
Lilith tilted her head to the side before she approached the hole in the floor, stopping once she felt she was close enough and then leaning forward to look down. Oddly enough the black inside of the hole seemed, for lack of a better description, darker than it should have been. 'Is it moving?' She asked herself as she leaned even farther over
Lilith jumped as the door opened- when had she closed the door?- and Pomme stepped in. "Your Highness? A man named Lycan is here with an item belonging to you: the Lost Gem. He is armed but I think your intuition was right and that he is here to help. However I would keel your sword by your side and I will be at the ready. He is sitting at the table."
"The lost gem?" Lilith repeated as she pushed herself away from the wall and wiped a hand against her cold forehead. The lost gem? What in the world was that supposed to be? And when had the room gotten to be so cold? "I have never heard of such a thing... a rather vague name, I would say." She looked back at the wall and frowned deeply before she stepped out of the room. She shut the door behind her, firmly, and then nodded to Pomme. "Ah, good job, Pomme."
Then, with a breath of fresh air, Lilith walked with her sword in hand back to the table where they'd been eating. There, just as Pomme had told her, was a man. Lilith's eyes flickered up and down as she took in his appearance. "Greetings to you. Is it your hobby to deliver strange things to dead princesses, sir?" She asked as she lowered her sword into a more passive position. Whenever the end is Do you think you can see it? Well, until you get there Go on, go ahead and scream it Just say it

Samhailien Daveana D'Aunchan Sig-Ur Destiny where do I find you? Destiny where can I look for you? Destiny where are you hiding? Why are you hiding from me? Destiny what do you have for me? Samhailien walked the streets of the city restlessly. While, no, there wasn't a curfew, many of the occupants were much to afraid of the city watches damning reputation. The reputation was well earned and the people were right to stay indoors after dark. The Seumurian girl had nothing to fear though, she knew the city better then they did. Soon she found herself assaulted by the smell of blood. Thinking the soldiers had beat another citizen into submission she went to investigate.
What she saw gave her reason to pause. It was a young girl, and no soldiers had done it. Sure, at first glance it looked like the girl had been beaten and raped, but looking closer, none of the wounds bled like they should have, as if they were inflicted after the soul had left the body. Saddened at this loss of life she murmured a word under her breath, "Ani". The word meant 'Soul' in common, and if the girl had been recently deceased, it would allow her to see if the soul still lingered nearby. Closing her eyes to allow the spell to work to it's fullest she waited.
After a moment the soul, a flicker of light to her mind's eye, appeared, hovering over the body. Samhailien let the spell dissipate and sighed sadly. If Falconer were here he could help the poor girl, perhaps. But Falconer had been captured, and was perhaps being tortured as she sat here in the muck, blood leaking through the toes of her "borrowed" boots. Looking once more at the young girl, she sighed again. Murmuring quietly, she closed her eyes once more. "Permis is ani reper eternu sileo."
In her mind's eye she watched the poor soul slowly dissipate. As the Soul passed on, Samhailien got a vision, the last moments of the girl's life. She caught sight of a passing woman, the woman looked at her a look of... there was no other word for it, the woman looked hungry. Her body reacted to what her mind didn't realize. This woman was bad news, she motioned... her mind was too far gone at this point to know how to react so her body took over. She screamed and tried to run. Before she could comprehend what happened, the woman had pounced. The last thing she remembered was pain, her neck, her throat and finally her heart, were burning, a raw fire coursing through her veins. Finally, blissful nothingness. At the last moment, she received a feeling, the feeling of utmost happiness. She knew the soul had passed on and finally gone home.
She picked the girl, Lizzie, up and cradled her body in her arms. Her shirt became saturated in the girl's blood, but she didn't mind at this point, she had the information she wanted, Serenice was here. Perhaps together they could free Falconer and bring the morale of the people to it's peak. The execution was to happen soon, Samhailien wasn't sure exactly what day it was to be but knew enough to know she couldn't waste time. Swiftly standing she made her way to The Tavern of the Fat Pig. She didn't relish the idea of telling the mother her daughter was dead, but it had to be done.
She pushed the door open with her shoulder and narrowed her sensitive eyes against the harsh light.
Bert rushed forward as she caught sight of Lizzie's body, fear written on her face. "No! She can't be... Is she-?" She couldn't finish the question.
Samhailien grimaced and answered her question anyway. "I am afraid so. Your daughter, for she looks so very much like you, is no longer of this world. I am sorry."
Bert let out a little scream and one of the other patrons had to catch her as the woman nearly fainted. "No, no, it can't be. Lizzie can't be... It's just, not possible."
Samhailien winced and nearly stumbled. She'd gone for weeks without sleep even before they had been taken over, but now, the lack of sleep was catching up with her. One of the other patrons took the girls limp, lifeless body from her and she gratefully sat in a chair, sipping a drink that was passed to her. She nearly spit it back when she remembered the foul taste of human mead.
"Wha' 'appened to 'er?" One of the patrons asked.
The Seumurian girl had thought about an appropriate scenario to put in place. "It seems, judging by the bruises, she was beaten. I am not sure who it was as I did not personally witness the event, but I would place any amount of money that it was Mei'Q Soldiers."
They bought the story but Bert, who had gotten back up and put on a show that nothing had happened out of the ordinary, put a stop to any speaking of it for fear that they might be heard. Samhailien slouched in her chair barely awake, but she needed information. Here was as good a place to get it as any. And Serenice was somewhere near by. After a moment's rest she would get up and try locating the Vampire.Destiny what are my options? Destiny which door is open for me? Destiny do you have anything for me that I might want? Destiny can I get any satisfaction from you? Destiny are you my friend?

Lycan's eyes raised and took in the princesses appearance. When he had recieved the letter there was no picture of the princess but for some reason he just knew that his was who he was seeking. Hmm she said strange things, of course the jem was sent to me before she knew of it then i guess i should explain it to her for it is indeed trully important.
"Princess this strange thing you talk about is the Royal Gem it is what you need to trully take your rightfull place on the throne. It was sent to me with a coded message that said that I was to deliver this to you and also protect you." Lycan said all of this with a even and glacial voice never faultering or leting any emotion leak threw into what he was saying or his features.

Pomme gave a nod to the Queen when she congratulated her. She was a little surprised by the word coming from Lilith, but was pleased. She hoped that they would both be able to work together. They had no real choice.
The introduction chosen by Lilith made Pomme mentally smile. Lilith was not the type to be impressed, even by a striking good looking man. One good point to her ruler.
Pomme noted that both Lilith and Lycan were using the word Princess whereas she was using the word Queen. She thought it over for a moment. Since the death of her parents, she was the Queen as per the law. However the ceremony had not happened yet and therefore she could still be considered a Princess. The red hair woman decided that she would use whatever term Lilith wanted her too.
The words pronounced by Lycan made Pomme want to laugh. He was looking at Lilith and speaking as if he were an iceberg and yet he spoke of protecting her. Just by looking at him, Lilith would catch a cold! The joke was lame but it calmed down Pomme.
She remained silent and immobile, standing against the wall. One knight still visible in her hand. She waited for the Princess to speak back.

Lilith Ishtar Daciana Valdis Gwenevere Ovet Do you know what your fate is? And are you trying to shake it? You're doing your best and Your best look You're praying that you make it Lilith listened to what the stranger had to say. Her only immediate reaction was a quirked eyebrow. "Why would I need a material item in order to lay claim to the throne that I rightfully have through my blood and the will of my people?" Was this some sort of Erion tradition that he was speaking of? She'd never heard of it... then again her predecessors hadn't been there to hand over their rule to her. Even so she wasn't the first leader of Erion to have received the throne without having the previous rulers pass on the crown to them. So surely if she'd needed a jewel in order to have the throne one of her generals or Serenice would have told her...
Lilith really wasn't sure what to make of this handsome visitor. He had a chilled air about him that spoke volumes and yet nothing at all. However the vibe she got from him was not a negative one. He seemed trustworthy. That much could be said by how he still remained seated at the table. If he were an assassin he would have tried to kill her already, wouldn't he? 'Unless he is simply waiting for me to lay down my sword... this house may have spells and traps on it that he was unable to break through. He may have waited to attack Pomme so that she would bring me out first... that way he could have taken my life and then hers as well. Easier to gut something when you know exactly where your target is.'
Even if this man was trying to take her life manners was manners. "We should discuss this... properly. Pomme, would you mind fixing some tea and food for our guest?"Lilith gestured towards the kitchen with her free hand. "I am afraid that the tea on the table has grown cold. We were not expecting visitors today."
She wasn't even dressed properly either. 'What a mess,' she thought to herself as she walked around the table and into the room she'd been sleeping in. "I need to change. It is not suitable for you to see me in my sleeping garments. Pomme, after you finish fixing our guest something to eat please come in here to see me. I will be out to speak with you shortly, Mr. Lycan."
With those words she stepped out of the room and into the other one. She shut the door behind her and then looked around the room. Aah, where would the clothes be...?
After Lilith set her sword on the top of a desk and some searching she found what she was looking for. None of the clothes that were there were like what she usually wore back at the palace. However it would have to do. Besides, it wouldn't do well for her to walk around totting a dress or anything else that would make her look like royalty. These clothes were perfect: Not tarnished or worn and most certainly not low-class but also nothing that was too fancy. She smoothed the dress she'd chosen out with her hand before laying it out on a chair and then sitting down on the bed. She wouldn't be able to do anything until Pomme came in to dress her. She would also leave the picking for the proper under garments up to her. How undershirts and bloomers looked didn't really matter to her.
With a sigh Lilith's eyes landed on the door. She really had no idea who this man was, not to mention she also had no idea what had happened in the other room. 'Serenice must have hit my head harder than I thought.' She ran her hand over her scalp and flinched when she ran into a rather large-sized bump on the side of her head. She'd had the convenience of not feeling the pain of it before but now it was throbbing so hard she had a feeling the lump wasn't going to go away for at least another week. It was going to be such a pain to get her hair brushed. At least the pain would keep her from letting her mind wander too far from the problems at hand. Although it was such a massive problem she would've been able to remember it just fine without the bump Serenice had had the courtesy to give her.
{{Back in medieval days royalty and nobles didn't actually know how to or they just didn't dress themselves. They had their servants dress them. So I'm going to keep this little element of old world tradition, haha. xD Whenever the end is Do you think you can see it? Well, until you get there Go on, go ahead and scream it Just say it

Pomme jolted when Lilith asked her to ...prepare from tea and food for the man. I am not a MAID! she mentally hissed. At that moment, she truly hated Serenice. She should have been the one staying behind and the vampire should have been the one taking care of the Princess.
Pomme's face did not show anything though and she prepared quickly something. Thinking how that kid was much more of a tyrant than her father ever was. The red hair put the tea and food on the table for the man with a soft smile and headed to see if Lilith was alright.
Pomme had to admit that she was surprised about how long the Princess was taking to dress up. She should have been ready and back for a while.
The red hair woman knocked and entered the bedroom.
"Is everything alright?" she asked with a raised eyebrow at the sight of Lilith sitting on the bed, still in night gown. Pomme frowned and closed the door.
Serenice was trying to learn any information from the man. She still had the end of that night, plus the two following nights to save Falconer.
Mark told her all about the heart of the young warrior and how his life was so important for so many in town. He was uneasy by the creature standing in front of him. This tall woman who looked like a man and who smelled like blood. But she had showed the crest and it seemed obvious that she was here to save Falconer, so he calmed down his fears.
Serenice was thinking fast. She was mentally making a list of what she needed before the following night. Today was monday and tomorrow tuesday. Tomorrow the guard was going to Bert's inn. This was a unique opportunity and she would seize it. She already had a plan growing in her mind.
She turned to Mark and put some money on the table. "This is what I need." She explained the man who nodded.
Mark had stared at the money. That was far too much for what the woman wanted. "I will go tomorrow morning. You will have everything by noon."
"Thank you." Serenice nodded and then added.
"I need to wash."
The vampire was embarassed but she could still smell the blood of the kid on herself and she needed to clean up.
"You are lucky. We are sharing the back court with a woman public baths and they are closed. It is naturally hot water. It's all yours." Mark yawned.
"The first room on the left is mine if you need me. The first on the right is yours." he pointed at the stairs.
"Good night."
"Thank you. Good night." His room was on the street, hers on the court.
Serenice headed towards the back court. The man had not lied, the lights were off and the baths were empty. Serenice dropped her clothes and entered the warm water, letting it relax her.

Lilith Ishtar Daciana Valdis Gwenevere Ovet Do you know what your fate is? And are you trying to shake it? You're doing your best and Your best look You're praying that you make it After some time had passed Lilith had gotten up and started going through the rest of the clothes that she would need. Once she was finished she set them down on the bed and began on the tedious task of starting to remove her clothes. She'd been shown how to do it a few times in the cases of emergencies. She lacked practice, however, and spent a few seconds trying to figure out if she was supposed to pull the dress over her head, pull her arms out or...
By the time Pomme had come in Lilith had managed to put on her bloomers and stockings but had left her nightgown untouched after unsuccessful attempts to get it off. She knew that if she persisted enough she'd be able to get it off but after that would follow the task of putting everything else on- and that would take much longer.
"This." Lilith stated as she pointed to the rest of the clothes that she needed to put on. "I need you to help me get out of this nightgown and into this. It is not known amongst the lower classes, however it is Erion tradition for royalty and nobles to not dress themselves. It is considered meager work or something of the likes. Therefore I do not know how." She lifted her eyebrows as she crossed her ankles. "I do know how to put on armor and the likes but things like dresses and corsets are irritatingly complicated." She'd learned how to put on armor and clothes that went with it after she'd ordered her underlings to teach her how. She never wanted to be stuck in a situation where she needed to put her equipment on and had no help to do so. However unroyal-like it was of her to know how to do so was of no consequence to her- it was either that or make her chances of dying due to the fact that she was unprepared even higher. When it came to dresses or any formal attire, however, she had always had someone at hand to help her with that; whether it was her personal maids or Serenice. Therefore there'd never been any point in learning how. Now, however...
"If you could just do it once so I know how."Lilith picked the dress up and held it up, tapping it lightly with one of her fingers. She peered over the dress to look at Pomme, waiting for her reaction. She wasn't sure if Pomme would comply without saying anything, if she'd be upset or just start laughing about it. Whatever her reaction would be Lilith had a feeling that she'd just stare back. Right now she lacked the emotion and energy to snap a command or laugh back. Her mind still felt like it was in a jumbled fog after the bizarre vision she'd had in that empty room. She still didn't know what to make of it. Surely it had some meaning- or was the lump on her head simply causing her mind to go on the blink?
Either way she could not linger on it for too long. There were things to be done- such as get more information for Pomme and figure out what in the world that strange man who was now sitting at the table was talking about. No matter how much Lilith searched her mind she honestly had no idea what it was he was talking about. 'This is where Erion's nature to keep secrets even from its leaders becomes quite tedious... I cannot tell truth from fiction.' She thought to herself as she lowered the dress down and looked off to the side for a moment with a vacant look in her eyes. It only lasted for a second as she snapped back into reality and returned her attention to Pomme. Whenever the end is Do you think you can see it? Well, until you get there Go on, go ahead and scream it Just say it
