I love the rain, especially at night. I love to listen to it while I am in bed and then I fall soundly asleep =]

Rodor Aerhin Steel It's such a shame, at school it's always whine, whine, whine about the rain or, "it's too cold!" A lot of my friends haven't even fished in their life! My family has strong roots and traditions with this land and we are hardy folk- but what about everyone else? It seems like everyone I talk to but my family and select others rarely fish, only go camping a weak average of once a year during the summer, and whine about the fact it's a bit wet! It's like they aren't from Washington or something. ♥♣♦
We don't camp or fish my parents are Native to the state. But there's nothing wrong with rain. I go to school in AZ and when it barely has any water coming from the sky they freak about it raining and don't know what to do and get umbrellas and it just makes me laugh. If you're not getting wet it's not raining, and you need to calm down.
But I have fished once, out at the marina, so that was nice. In DesMoines. And I enjoy the ocean and the ferry and the weather... I was disappointed when it was really hot this summer, and when last year we had that bad snow storm.

If I could, I'd dance naked in the rain.

That sounds like fun, I go camping like once every few years, and for some odd reason we don't even stay within Washington State, it's always an Oregon roadtrip, we fish too.

I love the rain! It only bugs me when the wind is crazy and rain is coming down at the same time, and I'm not prepared for it. I grew up here and go camping all year when I can afford to. I also surf and scuba dive and sail here, and after living in southern California for only two months, I missed the rain, I missed clouds, I missed WEATHER, I missed warming up after being caught in the rain with something comfy to wear and something hot to drink... When I transfer schools, I'll be living in Hawaii for a short time, and perhaps San Diego after that for a Masters. I also hope to live in Japan for a little while... but when I get to the point when I want to settle, it will be in Washington... most likely on the Peninsula somewhere. I think it's the most beautiful place in the world heart

Well there is more than washington than the wet Western part. I live in the dry eastern part of the state, and I would prefer more rain. Especially when my elbows get dry and crackly.
Learn to enjoy where you live. It is all in your frame of mind.

Quite frankly, with your definition, if you want to be a "true" Washingtonian you have to be a member of the First Nations, due to everyone else only being in washington for like 100 years.
So yeah, I'm not quite sure why you seem to be so elitist when you're likely nowhere near an actual Washingtonian, but I suppose it takes a fool to remind the rest of foolishness.

I lived in South-Eastern my whole life and so has generations of my family. I hate rain so I hate going to the west side where it rains a lot.

I didn't even remember about this until I just checked my announcements. Wow, I was a stupid, stupid elitist. Sorry for all the people I offended. I don't know what I was smokin back then.
