After watching the beast flee, Heratik stood back up and examined his wounds. He lightly brushed his jacket and grimaced. He noticed what Chryseis had said. The voice seemed familiar and he hesitantly turned around, hoping to be wrong.
"What!? You again? I thought I would never have to see any of you again!"
He flicked both of his hands outward, covering them in the dark energy he had before, and stood ready in a battle stance. Then, he noticed Leyward and turned his attention to him. He recognized he had magical properties, but didn't seem too surprised by it.
"I smell magic in your blood, boy. Tell me, what exactly are you?"

Chryseis scowled. "Since you're here, I KNOW there must be something wrong happening!"
She looked around. "I'm in the manor of nightmares with a gorilla-spider thing, a hellspawn, and a magician who's just as unsure of where everything is as I am! this could not get any worse!"
For the sheer want of irony, at that moment a portal opened. Its passenger was flung out of it, skidding along the floor, and once the dust cleared, the figure of a certain candywitch became prevalent.
Chryseis did not recognize her, as her outfit and appearance was slightly different, and she was face down, in rubble.
"Ow."

Leyward noticed the dark energies around the youths hands. "My name is Leyward the Blue. Hydromancer apprentice to Marten Broadcloak. I can also sense some magical energies around YOU." He looked over to Chryseis. "Wait, you know him? So I can assume he's not so nice right?" At that moment Leyward twitched as he felt a strong flux of magical energy nearby. And almost on cue, a portal opened and spilled out a strange looking woman. He pointed over to the woman lying facedown on floor. "Um...who is that? Another friend of yours? Gosh, you sure have some weird companions Chryseis."

"Thats because I am a demon, boy. You sense my power, which surprises me as to why you haven't ran yet."
Suddenly, the portal appeared and distracted Heratik. He saw somebody thrown out of it, and had a face of disgust. He gripped his hands up to his face, looking almost as if he was going to scream.
"What is this? You can't be here...w-why...why are you here!?"

Chryseis tilted her head. "I've never seen--"
At that moment, Polly stood up, brushing dust off of her taffy shirt, and looked around. "I don't want to be here as much as you do! I'm sick of tournaments."
Polly noticed the two voices. "....this is...awkward. I'll be going home now."
With a smile frozen on her face, she began to inch in the direction of the door.
"Candywhore! You're going to hell!" Chryseis called out, finally noticing. "Plaguevomiter! How's the weather?" Polly called out in a mockingly similar fashion, still inching towards the door.

"******** this." Lycoris said. "I'm bored." Her face sunk into her head and her neck stretched as her hair sunk into her head. Wadsworth smiled. "Hey Heratik, Chry-Chry, Candywhore. I'm following the mutant thing. Bye now." He slid up a wall and followed Abomination #2 through the hole it had created, nodding to Ignace as he left.
~*~*~*~
Ignace was very confused. "What." Had that shapeshifting thing just nodded at him? Could it see him? Who the hell are these people? Everyone except the blue-robed wizard seemed to know each other, and he could stay for introductions.

"I was wondering why my mother was here," Chryseis said. "...in thinking about it, it's somewhat awkward."
She then snapped back to what was important. "How many children have you killed, you b***h?!"
"Forty years' worth," Polly said, inching still, and then noticed something. "I smell something else in here..." It came from Ignace's direction, but there was [seemingly] nobody there.
"What're you smelling? Your upper lip?"
Polly did not like such remarks; back home, she had more than enough insults. "Hahahah... go pump out tadpoles in a ditch somewhere."

Leyward was about to respond to Heratik but stopped when the beautiful woman's face started to melt. "GGGAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!! WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING!?!?"He screams as the blue, liquidy figure slithers up the wall and into the hole where the beast escaped. He frantically starts to point at the hole in the ceiling and resumes yelling. "AAAAHH! DID ANYBODY SEE THAT!? WHAT IS THIS PLACE?! I WANNA GO HOME! IM DONE! I DONT WANNA DO THIS ANYMORE!!"

With a loud slam, one of the doors to the library opens up, and in walks a horrific sight. A scarecrow walks into the library, dragging two bodies behind it. One of the victims is a man, a butler in the mansion, and is being dragged by his foot. A large hand sickle is lodged into the mans skull and his left arm seem to have been ripped off. The other is a maid and is being dragged by her hand. The front of her blouse is covered in blood and her head and neck are sagging at a odd angle. The room seems to be silent execpt for the sound of scraping straw on wood and of course, the sound of bodies being dragged. The shambling figure drags the bodies over to an empty fireplace without even looking up at the other people in the room. Upon reaching the fireplace, the scarecrow dislogdes the sickle from the mans skull with a wet, sucking sound. It then proceeds to violently stuff the bodies into the fireplace. For what seems like hours, the room is filled with the sound of scratching straw and the muffled cracking of bones being compacted and broken. Then, once the bodies are snuggley fitted into the fireplace, the scarecrow stands up to reveal a large pumpkin head and a very wide and sharp toothed, glasgrow smile. The expression seems to be the only one as it then brushes off its shirt and pants with the sound of more krinkling straw. It then tips its hat to the other inhabitants of the room before slowly and eerily creeping out of another door. The whole event took about 5 minutes but seemed to last for hours.

Void dropped the book he was holding, allowing it to float in the emptiness of the footvoid, before searching for another to read. He had read all of them, he was sure. But it never hurt to re-read a book. Void finally settled on a book about atoms and grabbed it.
The others in the room might have noticed a black, swirling mass seemingly grow out of nowhere near the door that Polly was creeping towards.
Void's eyebrows, already pulled together in his usual scowl, seemed to knit tighter together at the scene before him as he emerged from the footvoid. This was definitely NOT space.
"Onioning footvoid...," he muttered, looking at the others in the room. His eyes rested on Polly, and he wrinkled his nose in annoyance.
"Lupa!" he addressed her, the aggravation in his voice quite apparent. He could care less about the others in the room at the moment, Polly was the object of his attention now.

Polly recognized the insult, and saw Void. "HELLO~ I don't have any pudding for you, annnnnd I should be getting on my way."
Polly knew Void from an odd association involving her ritually giving him pudding, and him sparing her life. If anything, it was bribery to keep herself from certain death.
Chryseis tilted her head. "Who's the purple kid?"
Chryseis and Polly were cut off, however, by the sudden intrusion of the odd pumpkin-headed man,and the gore he had caused to a couple of Polly's siblings.
Immediately, after seeing the odd incident out of nowhere with the scarecrow, Polly cringed, and ran out the door; she was trying to avoid the line of fire/thinking she had lost her mind, but accidentally bumped into Joseph.
~*~ Chryseis pointed at Void, recovering from the odd event that just took place. "YOU! Who are you, and how do you know that child-eating monster?"

Upon the arrival of several new people, Heratik used the opportunity to sneak out of the room unnoticed. He floated up backwards, and seemed to fade through a wall. On the other side, he could barely hear the others that remain in the library.
"Too many of them...I'll have to wait till I catch one of them alone...
Heratik started laughing. The laughter became distorted and bellowing, echoing throughout the halls. He walked off, seeming as if he was in no control of his maniacal laughter.

Void watched Polly dart through the door, annoyed, but he would let her go. He was sure that this would not be the only run-in he would have with her.
He dropped his book back into the footvoid as Chryseis pointed at him. A glacial glare set upon his face and he studied her for a moment before responding.
"What is it to you, how I know her?"

Chryseis crossed her arms. "I'm here to investigate criminal activity, and from what I've seen, almost everyone is some sort of murderer or criminal! I believe in justice, so it is my right to destroy criminals!"
After Void, she would progress on to destroy the demon, not noticing he had already left in pursuit of gathering together his power.
She got into a battle stance. "What are your crimes, ally of the candywhore?"

Void gritted his teeth together, his eye twitching a little. Chryseis was already getting on his nerves.
He crossed his arms, ignoring her readied stance.
"I am an ally to no one," Void stated. He scowled and sat down on the footvoid, then looked at it. Why did it bring him here? It hadn't happened before, and he was sure if he tried to go back to space it wouldn't work.
