Donvovan had to think about where he wanted to take the two first before answering, "Might as well, besides Elrohir and Haradhel need to know, and once those introductions are over I'll take them over to the barracks and see if Celeborn is not on shift."
And since about putting them on shift, when Donovan thought about it all this snow might not be a bad thing. Having them interact and put on shift with other fighters would be the quickest way to know how social they were.
"Then let's go," Kara nudged Donovan in the direction of the Ranch house.
For someone who had her hands somewhat full she had a good grip on Toshiro's collar since she knew where he wanted to head.

But before they could reach the house, Aragost appeared with Miyu by his side. Elnara led the way into the house with Garrick, holding the door for Lore and Hana.
"Wait a moment," Aragost called out, his voice stronger than usual. "Donovan. Before you go inside, I would like a word with the newcomers."
Corrah and Armus stopped just short of the door and turned to see who was calling out. Armus blinked and looked at Donovan. "Who's that?" she asked out of the corner of her mouth.

Donovan blinked, it didn't take a genius to figure out why Aragost felt like he needed to have a talk. Looking between the adult Seconds and Aragost, suddenly Donovan could see why Corrah was mistaken for Aragost. Especially now that Aragost didn't do his stifling scary aura as much anymore, and he never did it front of Miyu as far as Donovan knew.
"Aragost," Donovan nodded greeting the man and giving Armus her answer, "Go ahead, might as well get it over with."

Aragost released Miyu's hand so that she wouldn't have to get too much closer to the man she so feared, and stepped forward to meet with him.
Corrah did a double take, seeing the man who so much resembled him, and he pulled his cowl down to get a better look. His blue eyes, so cold and piercing, were filled with wonder.
Aragost responded by pulling down his own cowl. Armus gasped softly with surprise when she saw the blackness of his skin and the scars that sealed his eyes shut, and she took half a step backwards.
"Corrah," Aragost said quietly but firmly, "Your aid here is welcome. But I will tell you one thing, and of everything that you hear today, this is the one thing that you must remember, above all else." He stepped forward threateningly. "These people ... these children ... those whom you have taken it upon yourself to terrify and injure ... they are my family. All of them. You will accord them the respect that they deserve."
Corrah straightened and faced off against Aragost. "I see," he said coldly, "that you have been informed by those who do not understand. My home was being invaded, my peace interrupted, and weapons were first drawn on me. If I am threatened, I will protect myself and my own, but if I am left unharrassed, I will respond in like."

"Hello?" Toshiro waved over where he was, "You threatened us, my sister came to our defense. You knew very well she was defending us, you could have just told her you weren't actually going to harm us."
Not that, that would have been easy to do Toshiro grimace. The man had not been a happy camper that Miyu mistaken him for Aragost.
"So..." Kara murmured trying to be the mediator in all of this, "Miyu... I'm assuming probably screamed, Lin jumped to both of your defenses, and Corrah took it as a threat."
"Well it probably didn't help he couldn't nicely say he wasn't Aragost," Toshiro then admitted with his arms crossed over his chest, "And it probably didn't help Miyu screamed, but you know.. if a person screams you try to show them there's nothing to scream about, not make it worse, and it's not like we knew until after the fact we were in his lands. Hell, until we found him we didn't even known a Second could own land."
"So it short it's a misunderstanding," Kara finished wryly. "Of epic proportions," Donovan muttered under his breath.

Corrah scowled. "How could I get a word in edgewise," he asked, "when all she did was scream?" He pointed at Miyu. "She grabbed my clothes and yanked me back, and by the goddesses! Her scream could turn anyone deaf!"
"Corrah," Armus said, stepping forward and putting one hand on his arm, "you're not helping anything." She looked at Donovan. "Yes, it was a misunderstanding, and all of the blame cannot be put on Corrah. That said, it's not fair of everyone to keep treating us like we're going to kill everyone. Corrah has never killed unnecessarily, and neither have I. We're here to help, but if we're not welcome we will go back where we came from."
Aragost held up one hand to silence everyone.
"Your aid would be greatly appreciated," he said quietly but firmly. "Go. Meet the overseers." He turned to Donovan. "I will speak to Celeborn about them," he told the man; and then he turned around, put one hand on Miyu's back, and guided her back towards the barracks.

Donovan pinched the bridge of his nose, he hoped Aragost would have the foresight (actually he didn't doubt it) to request they both wouldn't be on hunts. While he could see Corrah's point of view. Corrah was just as bad as the kids in that his view was very one sided, never mind the fact he seemed to not be good at handling overly frightened people.
No... it wouldn't be a good idea to send them on the hunts.
Toshiro passed Donovan on his way into the house, he didn't trust himself to say something that would make his parents upset. Personally he thought it was stupid because Miyu was not screaming when Lin came to their defense. Granted he was an elf, so Toshiro couldn't blame him, but he wouldn't take any responsibility for it and that ticked Toshiro off.
Not to mention now Miyu will wonder if it was her fault.
Miyu edged towards Yami-san on their way back, it was pointless she thought. She hadn't thought it that way, she couldn't help but scream, he was so angry when she realized it wasn't her Yami-san and he was so scary. She had only grabbed him because he wouldn't stop, and she had thought maybe he didn't realize... of course that was silly Yami-san knew everything and she knew that now.
If only she wasn't such a mouse, then none of it would have happened in the first place.

Corrah and Armus exchanged a glance, and then Armus slipped her hand into Corrah's and led him towards the house, following after Donovan and Toshiro. He was silent now. There was nothing for him to say. He just hoped that inside, they would receive a better reception.
Aragost tried to comfort Miyu a bit as they headed back to the barracks, keeping one hand on her back and walking slowly with her. "Miyu," he said quietly, "you must not blame yourself for what happened. It was not your fault." He paused, then added, "On the other hand ... it is not entirely his fault, either ... an adult he may be ... but in many ways, he himself is a frightened child."
He turned his head towards Miyu, his expression worried. "You ... are afraid of those who you do not know. When you are frightened, you become ... vocal." To put it kindly. "He is also afraid of people, and he knows far fewer people than you. He is silent, as I once was ... he cannot show his fear through his voice. The only thing he knows is physical defense."
He stopped them, and knelt down so that he could 'look' into Miyu's face. "Do you understand what I am trying to say, Miyu?"

Lore sighed, this really wasn't going well. It seemed like emotions and misudnerstandings were running high. He was just happy to get Hana indoors. Being out in the cold couldn't be good for them.
"There we go, it's good to get you out of the cold."

Miyu thought about it, she never thought of it that way. She certainly wouldn't have pegged Aragost as anyone who could become frightened. She thought about it more and decided she could see what Aragost was getting at.
"I think so.... mi...." Miyu murmured.
The moment Kara stepped into the house, Hope began to fuss in her arms, apparently being held for so long didn't do well for her, and it had been quite cold outside.
"They're getting fussy."
"Elrohir? Haradhel?" Donovan called out trying to keep Faith from grabbing his glasses but that was making her fussy, "Were they fed before we left?"

Aragost smiled slightly and patted Miyu lightly on the head. "People do things that they do not mean to when they are afraid," he said softly. "Just as you do not mean to scream or run away all of the time." He straightened again. "Come, we must tell Celeborn about their arrival."
Inside the house, Haradhel was already talking with Elnara, who had gone inside before the entire problem had begun. She was also cooing over Garrick, who was of course quite a bit bigger than the last time she had seen him.
"In the playroom," she beamed as she heard the others calling for her. "Come on in!"

Lore picked into the play room with Hana, Hana was just please to be in a warm home. She wigged in Lore's arms wanting to get down. Holding a squirming child is hard, so Lore had no choice but to put her down letting her tottle over to her brother.
"It's good to see you again Haradhel," Lore spoke entering into the room fully.

"Okay..." Miyu nodded following Aragost to see Celebor, she somewhat remembered where Celebor's room was. She rarely interacted with him, but she remembered candy and messy room.
Meanwhile back in the Ranch house Donovan was making his way to the play room.
"Yo!" Donovan would have waved to Haradhel except his hands were full, "Do you mind if Kara feeds the kiddies in here?"
Even though it was a short walk (only a few steps) Donovan managed to lose his glasses to Faith.
"Don't eat that...."
"Haradhel," Kara entered right in after Donovan, "It's been far too long."

Haradhel just about squealed when Donovan and Kara came in with the twins. "They're so cute!" she exclaimed, clapping her hands together. "Oh, I'm so glad you finally brought them here!" She laughed. "Of course, Kara can feed them in here, you can feed them wherever you like."
Elnara laughed and sat down as Garrick headed for the toybox. "It's been too long since any of us have visited," she smiled. "But I suppose that before we get caught up, we should let Donovan do his business."
Haradhel smiled and turned to Donovan. "Of course. Donovan. I suppose you'll be wanting to go out on another hunt?"

"If possible, and if the weather will permit," Donovan replied, "With the snow on the ground I'll need your opinion on whether or not it'll be possible before the snow really comes in."
He knew how bad the snow could get here.
Kara grinned and settled down on a chair, since she had Hope first it would best to start with her first. Taking off her travel bag, she then rummaged around for a towel to cover herself up.
"Just a moment longer Hope," Kara murmured, "Where's everyone else?"
