Personality: Kind to other Merchinarys, Respectful, innocent((She seemes innocent even after she killes))
Weapons: Her fists, the ribbons and rubberbands, and erasers
Biography: Azreal was born to a normal family, but she was born as an experiment. Her parents were scientists and were trying to figure out a way to make a human wepon. they accomplished it but did not take in to account that the child would have a will all its own. She distoryed the lab along with her mother and father. She entered the league after a while of living on her own.
Pros: She listens to orders and make sure every thing gets done, She has a large amount of knowledge and is commonly found either training or in the library. Azreal is also very independent and takes care of her self, She is hard to find. she respects the rakning's to a degree that is subservant
Cons: Azreal is still an individual if she qustions and order she will respectfully ask a reason for the order, if she is given a good reason she obeys if not she respectfully devlines, she is sarcastic but kind, she has to big of a heart twords her other merchinarys and does not want to see them get hurt.

Race: Human

Appearance: Strifer has never been seen with out his black bowler hat on, and some sort of sword on his hip. He has silver hair that is just long enough to stick out form underneath the hat, with yellow eyes that shine with knowledge that only seems to be used during fights. He usually wears a black jacket of some sort and the rest of his clothes to match. He has a scar in the shape of an X right between his eyes. He stands at 6'2" and weighs approximately 180 lbs.

Weapons: He has a sword, named Eternal Glory, which he mysteriously received from a good friend. It is made of a metal called Mistarelle, which is unbreakable by any metal, including itself, once it has hardened.

Special skills: Has become a decent fighter using any sort of weapon, but prefers to stick to swords. Strifer's body has be gifted with extreme adaptability He's been drinking anywhere from twenty to thirty bottles of rum a day for as long as he can remember, the result has caused him to have blood that has the same consistency of alcohol, making it highly flammable. With blood that is flammable his body has become extraordinarily resistant to fire through training and accidents. His sword allowed him to realize that he has a magic energy in his own body separate from the energy his body uses naturally. It can store only five elements: Earth, Fire, Wind, Water and Lightning. He can use the element to summon it outside of his body for a devastating attack, but he could only do that with each element about four or five times. He can also chose to mingle the element with the energy the powers his body. Mixing the lightning energy with his body energy would make him faster, mixing earth makes him stronger, mixing wind makes him faster, and mixing water makes his body motions more fluid. His body can only store so much of each element, and once he uses the element it is gone. Once there is room for him to do so he must draw the element from either the enemy, or from a stone that holds that element. Each stone or enemy only holds one element, and drawing the element takes a fair amount of time and a good amount of focus. If Strifer draws the element from the enemy, it is from a source that takes no toll on the energy it uses to power it's body, and that only people with talent similar to Strifer's can draw from.

Personality: Strifer is a stubborn person, and a constant drinker. He's never one to take things too seriously, throwing in sly comments in the middle of any sort of fight, until he no longer has anything to say, but on the inside he continuously doubts his usefulness. He is often seen off by himself, or leaning against a wall.

Weakness: Strifer has been known to keep fighting until his limbs are no longer able to move. Also has a soft spot for the ladies, and refuses to do too much harm to them. If he goes too long with out drinking some sort of alcohol his body rebels against him, giving him shakes. The shakes gradually develop the longer he goes with out alcohol.

History: Strifer was a fierce pirate captain, which is probably where his drinking habit developed. He remembers the navy making its final stand against him, ten ships to his one, and losing. When he regained consciousness after the battle he found himself on an island. He eventually found his way back to mainland and took up arena fighting to make some money. Strifer dropped the arena fighting, wandering to find himself like he had when he was the pirate captain. His search led him to the Mercenary League.

Name: Shinme Hakabakashii

Age: Appears to be around 20 to 25

Birthplace: Southern Japan, but immagrated at a very young age to Rome.

Race: Human. Sort of. It's kinda complicated.

Appearance: About 6' 1'', lean muscular build, Deep purple eyes, silver hair, usually wearing a white vest/button up shirt combo, white slacks, black boots and black gloves. Oddly pale for a guy who wanders all the time from town to town.

Actually got someone to draw him. Course, he's got a black shirt, but oh well.

Skills/Powers: Good with guns, but has a prefernce to short swords or daggers. Hightened regeneration, good reflexes and a form of pyrokinesis that allows for him to manipulate flames to be his own and create his own flames, always of a black or crimson coloring. The temprature, intensity, all of it is his to change. On top of this, his body seems to not even flinch to even some of the deadliest poisons and he always has enough alcohol in his blood system to kill a normal man twice over.

Personality: Generally laid back, but always up to do some fighting, Shinme will pick his fights if he can. And even though he doesn't like being totally over powered, he loves a challenging fight between him and an opponent.

History: Born in Japan during the beginning of the uprising of Oda Nobunaga, Shinme wished to be a warrior. But as a small family in the Shimazu clan, his parents were fearful that they would be killed. So they fled from the country, heading west. They were never accepted in any country they went to. China, India, various Middle Eastern countries, none of them would be even slightly accepting. Until they made it to Italy. They started their life anew in Rome, of all places. Shinme, a teen at this point in his life, wanted more than to just be a peasant farmer. His warring spirit wished for the fighting, the killing, the honor of being a warrior. He joined the Italian Military, and enjoyed it, even though he saw little action. His interest was starting to slip when he discovered a small cult to a deity known as The Living Saint. They were a brotherhood devoted to a warrior deity, doing his god's work as a divine crusader until he was slain in battle, but not by the enemy, by his god, for being too mighty. Within three days, his men were preparing his burial when he awoke, as if merely sleeping. His sword was glowing with a dark aura, black and crimson flames swept around him as he rose and cursed the divines for trying to slay him. Long story short, this caught Shinme's atention. He joined the Brotherhood, and was determined to be a Blessed Chosen of the Saint. He was to share part of his body with the avatar of the Living Saint. He wanted this, and went through the ritual. The pain and torment he felt lasted for fifteen days. When he finally felt good enough to walk on his own, he went and spoke to the elders, or the Original Five (the Saints greatest warriors), and was told the truth of his powers. The regeneration, the pyrokinesis, all of it. He was also told he would hear the Saint's guiding voice as if it were his consience. This is where he drew the line on the powers. As a Blessed one, he was free to roam and do as he pleased, unfettered by the rules and guidlines of the brotherhood. He could hear the Saint trying to change him, shape his motions, make him into a perfect good guy/ god slayer. Shinme just wanted the god killer. He found his way into a bar, swearing that he'd read somewhere that the Saint never drank alcohol, and drank until he couldn't hear the saint. Since then, he's near always kept himself at a steady buzz, steadily needing more and more over the hundreds of years of wandering and drinking.

Pros: Damn hard to knock out, let alone kill. Brewmaster, unaffected by poisons, highly skilled in assassination techniques and pure fighting whether with blades or bullets, will occasionally be posessed by the Saint.

Cons: Needs to drink alot of alcohol, mood will shift at somewhat random from fun loving to sociopathic, will occasionally be posessed by the Saint.

Gear/weapons: Two onyx short swords (13 1/2 in blade length) two onyx plated .50 cal desert eagle handguns, and a moderately sized silver flask which seems to be a portal to the alcohol dimension, always giving Shinme a different drink as he feels.

I am is boreds at 10:00 at night, SO I'm making a new RP character.

Character Name: Rajalon Jokrund (Raja)
Age: Around his mid-twenties
Race: Human
Height: 6"5, A little tall.
Weight: 160. Perhaps a tad underweight for his height.
Personality: Retarded from drug use. Conversation with him is usually confusing. Very rarely has a lucid moment where everything is clear to him.

Skills/Powers: Due to his dual-world stuck nature, Rajalon moves in kinds of 'skips.' Think about how someone with lag moves on a video game. They're in one place, and suddenly they're somewhere else. This is how Rajalon moves, making it near impossible to hit him with anything. When he's in the middle of one of his 'skips' he theoretically does not exist in this world, so he can't be hit when he's moving. He also occasionally has magic explode outwards from him when people are in danger, causing random effects.

Pros and Cons:
Pro: The combination of Drugs and magic gives him his movement of 'Skips,' making him very hard to hit.
Con: The drug use fried his brain. Conversations with him are either very simple or confusing. He very rarely has a lucid moment.
Con: Instructions on telling him to do something must be simple, one-sentence things, or else he'll get bored or confused and leave.
Pro: Random explosions of Magic usually have a positive effect
Con: Besides his random magic, cannot do much in combat. (Doesn't use guns)
Pro: His 'Skips' enable him to move through walls and other solid objects.

Biography: Rajalon lived a basically normal life, or as normal as it gets when you're a semi-powerful mage. In his teen years, he fell into a rough crowd, experimenting with drugs. One day, while combining multiple types, he went into a drug-induced seizure and killed off most of his brain cells. During this seizure, the magic in his body exploded outwards trying to defend itself from the drugs. The resulting combination caused his body to be stuck between this world and a different world, causing him to 'skip' from that point onward. He is now mostly retarded, but still capable of human interaction. He eventually came to the league, and was found wandering the grounds. No one has an answer to his malady. However, through long and tiring conversation, they were eventually able to piece enough information on him to find out his life, and eventually made him part of the league just so the auto-turrets wouldn't waste ammo on him. He is sometimes used for basic recon missions, but other than that he just wanders around the Compound.

Powers: Death Magic (Necromancy), Blood Magic, Plague Magic, Shadow Magic.

Weapons: Sacrificial dagger

Biography: Dredge was born into a family of voodoo witchs and he was quickly raised in the dark arts against his will, he was a natural at it unfortunately and the whispers of the ghosts in his head drove him mad. In this state of madness he killed his entire family. The fight drained him and he stumbled away from the bloody site of the attack. At the time as this massacure he was 10 years old.

He retained enough sanity to realize he was a threat to society and he seculeded himself from them, his insanity keeping him alive. He eventaually fell into peaceful terms with the nearby wolf pack when they saved his life. He lived like this for approximately 5 years until hunters killed off the wolf pack, and went back to their village. Dredge was infuriated, in this infuriated state his insanity flooded over him once again, and he went to the village killing off the hunters and their families, after they were dead, Dredge brought the wolves back to life, striving to have friends once again, but the men he had killed remained dead, with Dredge beliving that they didn't deserve life. Afterwards he wandered back to the woods with the wolves, the wolves eventually left Dredge as his powers continued to grow, leaving him in complete seculsion.

He eventually found a mansion and in this mansion he altered it to his evil personality, the walls we're black, inside it smelled like a crypt. He lived like this until he was about 32. At the time of an October blue moon, a strange lady stumbled upon the mansion, she was a cleric and had been expelled from her town, due to her having magical ability, when she entered the building she immediately sensed Dredge's presence and called out to him, Dredge emerged from a dark corner, by this time his appearance had been twisted and he had sealed a demon into his right arm.

Sensing the Demonic spirit the lady, Anna, enchanted some cloth bandages, she gave them to Dredge and taught him the enchantment for the bandages. Dredge eventaully fell in love with Anna and she felt the same way, using both of their magics equally they created a pair of rings, one for each of them, the rings would allow them to communicate even past death, and though it wasn't offical they considered themselves married.

Sadly though, Happiness never lasts long and one night while they were sleeping, villagers from the village that Anna had come from found the mansion and charged into it. They took Anna by force, and killed her right in front of Dredge, something inside him snapped, he fell into total madness. Merely, the aura of him in this form killed the villagers, and Dredge bent over Anna his madness settled, he looked at her pale face, and her empty black eyes. After mourning for 3 years, using his magic to suspend Decay of her body, he packed up all his belongings and left the mansion, he carried both rings they had made and promised himself he would find somewhere where he could live, where his insanity would not cause death. Thus he arrived at the GML a place he deemed would be able to hold his madness when he would not, he has slowly begun to form relationships with the members, he hopes to one day become strong enough to resurrect his wife.

Personality: He keeps everything bottled up, though he occasionally shows rage. He acts selfish and only respects those who he sees as equals, in short he doesn't wear his heart on his sleeve.

Cons: It takes energy for him to summon spells and to keep them in effect though he has had many endurance tests in this area, and is able to sustain a single spell for days on end.

Appearance: Decorated in a black robe with a hood which he usually never has over his head, it is made of plain cloth and carries no decoration on it. his left arm is bandaged tightly from shoulder to fingertips and hangs limb at his side, his hair is pitch black and has been grown long. If however, his hair swirls to wildly, then a rune can be seen on his upper forehead. His good arm is scratched, bruised and cut it appears to remain in a perfect condition physically however. Occasionally white will flash around his cloak and a whisper can be heard.

Gender: Male

Special Skills: Glowing eyes that can detect energy signatures, heat sources, spirits and some elemental energy. Supersonic hearing. Acrobatic and sword training at high levels. Various training in CQC. Ability to maintain and control a state of being berserk. This ability occurs when his eyes emit auras, more than just the normal glowing in his normal state. His speed and physical strength increases, but at a controllable state. However, he becomes temporarily exhausted of energy to use his glowing eyes, perhaps, the only time his eyes aren't glowing.

Weapons and equipment: (2) Katana that are sheathed on his back, orange shades for concealing his orange glowing eyes (which either give away his position or put fear on others), a standard vest for minimal protection, but maximum mobility. (1 or 2) Five-seveN usually with 5 (10 if he brings 2 guns) clips of ammunition each with 20 rounds.

Strengths: Ability to seek out an enemy especially when he/she is nearly undetectable. When even the slightest source of energy is stored or gathered for an attack or any other tactic, his eyes can sense it as soon as the person's energy begins to be gathered. This gives him the head start on spell casters and other foes alike. For non spell casters, he searches the area for your body heat, spirit, other energy, and whatever else gives you away. Glowing eyes make for a good fearful introduction when interrogating a prisoner or when holding a hostage.

Weaknesses: His extremely low defense against magic. Although he can sense some magical signatures, he has no other defense against it. Glowing eyes scare people when either having casual conversations or even negotiating. As stated earlier, his orange eyes can give away his position to others.

Bio: At a young age, he lived in the ghettos, and could only at first see heat signatures through walls, because at the time, he didn't know how to switch between his special vision and regular vision. He witnessed theft, murder, and other various crimes. When his eyes first glowed, he was sent to a orphanage home as his parents left him. Upon his growing of age and realizing that his special senses were the reason why his parents left him, he wanted to find a way to fix his eyesight and find his family. However, he realized that this special gift could be used to help others. That's when he joined the GML. He wanted to help others but at the same time, find out his origin and family. From then on, he wonders whether fixing his eyes would help him get along with others.

Fun fact: loves staring at people with his glowing eyes and scaring them.

Powers: a double-handful of very minor cantrips

Abilities : Enhanced senses, strength, dexterity, constitution. Knows various form of hand-to-hand combat. Enhanced mental defenses.

Weapons: Many and varied. Favorites are magical sword, k-bar knife, gauss rifle/grenade lancher, Benelli semi-auto/pump action shotgun, SRS108 AM (semi-auto) sniper rifle, and magically enhanced Colt Python. Her powered armor is a find from a race long-since dead in the galaxy, could also be considered a potential weapon when she's wearing it. The armor has quite a few of its own capabilities, too, such as an A.I., signal jamming, energy beam reflec, heat/cold protection, nanotech self-repair, GPS, targetting, trauma maintenance, etc.

Biography: She's a planar-jumper (due to curse) who - between such bouts of being tossed to random universes - has experience with being: a knight, UNSC Marine, bounty hunter/hunter, and professional mercenary.

Pros: Smart, wily, professional, relentless, highly trained and very experienced.
Cons: Testy temper, has issues with (idiotic) authority. Smartass.

Ancient History
I was born on this planet, but my father was not. A giant compared to the people of Earth, he and many others of his kind came to this planet and impregnated the human women. One of those women was my mother, a young woman in Israel and the daughter of a shepherd. Her pregnancy outside of wedlock nearly cost her life, but my father could not allow it. Unlike many of the others, he believed that he loved my mother, however selfish that love may have been.

I was born, and became the entire world to my father, who wanted nothing more than to be like God in that he had created something of his own image to roam this world. My mother no longer had any purpose to him, and he took me from her to live out my life far from this planet. However, that did not last long. My father and I returned to this earth to witness the birth of a human God. While here, my father left me, for reasons I am still trying to understand. What God had made, his offspring, was better than I had done for my father, and I think he was ashamed of me, that I could not fulfill his wishes to be as great as God.

The rest, as they say, is history. I have lived many lifetimes, done many things. I have been royalty in some lands, and a thief in other times. I have watched over this land for many years, and now I have found my way to another key point in history. A band of those wishing to help others, it would seem, has caught my attention, and now I have hopes of aiding them for as long as time will allow, if only for the adventure. When that time is up, I will move on, and find a new home.



OTHER

So, I guess I forgot to mention a few important details about my past. I don't deal much with technology, though I understand it well enough. I do, however, carry a cellular device, much like a phone, only a little more advanced. Let's just say I need it, since I have a lot of connects in this world after having spent so much time in it. You'd be surprised what people will do for you when they find out you are part of their race. That, and there are a few people who owe me favors, and a few that I owe them. So, needless to say, I stay in contact with a lot of people outside of this base.

RPC Name - James Ricardo Jeremy Oronos Demosthenes Asmodeus Migato (Assumed)

Race - Possessed Human

Age - 42, 27 physically

Powers - Manipulates light: is capable of standing on even a single point of light, and of using it as a weapon.

Abilities - Skilled swordsman with a lot of experience, wielding a family heirloom. Particularly devoted to demon-slaying, with lots of experience in that field.

Weapons - A family heirloom sword, controlled by the spirit of light that haunts his bloodline. Due to the spirit's influence, the sword is useless in the hands of others, but while bound by the sword, the spirit is weakened. He carries a second sword, but refuses to draw it - that sword is possessed by a shadow-spirit that would be released if he ever drew the sword.

Biography - James grew up in a small village with his mother and brother. His mother often told him tales of his father, a swordsman who had once appeared in the town, fallen in love with her, and then left two years later, only a year after the birth of the two boys. While his brother grew to resent this man, James was in awe of the tales of the man's prowess and grew up with an insatiable wanderlust. After an argument with his brother, James finally left the village and during his journeys, found a legacy of his father - a pair of swords his father had once used, and an explanation of his disappearance.
Passed down in the blood was a spirit that animated the men of the family, instilling them with a strange wanderlust - a spirit of light that sought to do good and would force the swordsman to wander the earth in order to accomplish that goal. It was at this point that his brother re-emerged, enraged at James's abandoning the family.
Another fight broke out and his brother stole the sword and returned to the village they were born in, intending to use the sword's power to defend his family. His resistance to the spirit's intentions though led to his will and the spirit poisoning each other, darkening the spirit with his brother's jealous refusal to defend the world in favor of his village. Eventually he became deranged and evil, and when both James's father and mother were killed in following misfortunes, his brother completely lost it. In the following fight, James was forced to kill his brother, and claimed the sword to prevent the dark spirit within from poisoning any other wielder.
Seeking to develop his skills with the sword, he became a freelance mercenary and developed a number of friends, taking mostly demon-slaying jobs. It was through this that he met his first love, Nyra of the Dead, a necromancer who could manipulate the souls of others. She was acting to seal a demon known as Shudem, who eventually overwhelmed her - Nyra was killed, and James began to fall apart, taking more and more unsavory jobs and falling in with an assassin named Jynx, a mysterious masked woman. With her help he tracked down Shudem and her allies, and with allies of his own found his way to Shudem. As a last resort, James dragged the both of them into the spirit realm that Nyra once controlled, releasing the spirit that possessed his bloodline against her.
Since then, once again devoid of purpose, he has become a mercenary. The spirit which possesses his bloodline moves more and more into his soul, and he has begun to forget everything but his pursuit of justice, making him more and more aware of his own unnatural existence.

Pros - A powerful, experienced swordsman who can manipulate light and move in fast and unexpected ways. An expert when it comes to slaying demons, as well.

Cons - The spirit has has an effect on his mind and soul. He is extremely concerned with justice and often jumps into situations where he's clearly outmatched, and has difficulty registering the danger he's in, often laughing and taking it easy even in situations where his life is at risk.

Link to Merc League - A mercenary himself, who will gladly accept jobs from the guild.
